Loved, loved, loved our recent 4 day trip away. From the moment me and my hubby arrived to the time we left we were treated royally, even though, being a mid-week winter stay, we were pretty much the only guests - which suited us fine! Christopher (FOH) was lovely, even lighting a fire in the bar specially for us early one evening whilst we had a pre-dinner drink. Our room - the honeymoon suite - was one we had always wanted to stay in and it didn't disappoint! Lovely and roomy, huge, comfy bed, roaring wood stove fire and bath in the room, his and her shower - you name it, this room had it! Even though it was quiet and there was obviously plenty of upkeep to be done in this busy hotel, the work was always done inobtrusively. We enjoyed several hours reading on sun loungers around the pool catching the weak rays! The Post House is perfectly situated to stroll through the village, or to do more rigorous exercise, and for all the restaurants, cafes and shops. Shame we ate so well that we were barely able to touch the wonderful breakfast prepared for us each morning! All I can say is thank you so much Janet and team, you do things SO well. We came home relaxed and refreshed!

It was our first time in Greyton and we were very happy with our choice of accommodation. Everything was impeccably managed throughout, fromthe first communication and enquiry with Janet, the owner, through to our eventual checkout. The property - historic buildings, and garden - is conveniently centrally located, it is most attractive and well maintained, the rooms are well-appointed and the service throughout was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. It's the thoughtful and accumulated little touches that really count, like providing umbrellas on a rainy day, the beautifully presented breakfasts that are mini-works of art, the excellent coffee, the second cup offered at just the moment you were thinking about it...! Well done Janet and team, we loved your hotel and hope to visit you again.

We stayed at the Post Hotel for the Greyton Fire and Wine weekend.||The Hotel is based in the centre of town making access to all the events of the weekend easy. If I bought wine, I didn't have to go far to store it away.||The staff were amazing from checking in, cleaning ladies, waiters everyone. Their bright smiles and fantastic service made the stay even more pleasurable.||Breakfast was delicious, the freshly muffins especially so.||Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. The heater was an especially nice touch for the cold weather.||Wehn going back to Greyton I wont look to stay anywhere else.

Had the best weekend at this cosy little Posthouse in Greyton. The place was super clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Loved the peaceful garden and the delicious breakfast. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the slower pace of Greyton. Would definitely go back!

I would rate 10 stars if I could. Where to start? Location. It can’t get any better. Bed super comfortable and the room, my word much bigger than my flat 😂. The staff is supper friendly and kind, from the maids to the owners. Breakfast was so fresh and delicious. Last but not least, don’t forget a nightcap at the bar. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

It was a last minute decision to stay over in Greyton on our way home from a 4-day getaway in||the Overberg. We had hoped for a 2 night stay but being a weekend could only be accommodated on||the Friday night. We experienced a very comfortable and relaxing evening and night at the Post House,||and enjoyed the breakfast the following morning. The weather was perfect, the village very busy and we spent the morning exploring the village and the weeekly Saturday morning market.

We returned to The Post House in Greyton on 23rd May for yet another wonderful 3-night stay. We have visited & stayed at The Post House 3 times now under the current owners, Janet & John & each visit has been perfect. The staff are all super friendly, but not in your face, rooms spotlessly clean & breakfast enough to keep you going for best part of the day! We are already looking forward to our next visit!
