The Postcard Galle, Sri Lanka

This place is a Sri Lankan gem! Thank you very much to Bharatvir and his entire team for making us feel very welcome and special. Everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Everything was outstanding...the peace and quiet, beautiful room (thank you for the upgrade!), location, cocktails (so good!), pool, service, and food. The bed in the room was extremely comfortable and the bed linens were top notch. The decor throughout the hotel is very thoughtful with many beautiful antiques and pieces of artwork. The overall vibe is perfect! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

My first stay in Sri Lanka did not fail to impress. Such a beautiful property, delicious food, warm staff and comfortable rooms. Luxury but warm and stylish. Loved every moment here.

We had a lovely and relaxing experience here. The place is tastefully decorated, with no loud noises, just a peaceful atmosphere. It’s definitely one of the best spots to watch the sunset. The welcoming vibe and friendly service really stood out.

A gem of a hotel. Some of the loviest staff we've ever encountered. Only 10 rooms so a very personalized service, especially Bharat, the manager. |The food was excellent, great to have all day for breakfast. Lunch & dinner also delicious. |Lovely pool, wonderful views of the lagoon and coast. Beautifully maintained grounds. Only 4 sunbeds but this was not a problem. |Hotel is a little way out of Galle but easy to find a tuktuk. |Room 2 was large, very high ceilings, bed had mosquito nets. Could have benefited from a fridge and there's no window you can see out of which I didn't like very much. |Large bathroom, good shower, towels and bathrobes. |I would certainly highly recommend The Postcard.

Exceptional service and absolutely fine Sri Lankan hospitality experience. The ambience you get here is truly relaxing and calming. Lagoon and beach front which always brings the coolest breez. Also the resident manager Bharat along with his team Theekshana and others are doing a great job in creating this experience.

Highly recommend this hotel. lovely staff and beautiful view. The food was amazing, couldn't ask for more ! definitely going back to this place.

Postcard Galle is situated in a pristine, natural surroundings overlooking Indian ocean which can be seen from all the 10 expansive rooms .|The food served here is delicious and has lots of varieties.|The landscape is eye catching and swimming pool is clean,soothing and relaxing!|The staff here is polite and friendly,especially manager Bharat,and staff Ashard,Randi,Sanderwal,Vikum and Nirmal!|Even at odd hours , they are at our service with smiles.|The postcard Galle reminds us of palatial housing, full of peace and recharging our flayes nerves!

Postcard’s chain of boutique hotels have been our favourite go-to hotels for a while now, especially with our daughter (now almost 4). The hotel in Galle was the perfect coalescence of luxury and comfort. It reminds one of the old Portuguese bungalows (being from Goa ourselves, we found nostalgia in those rooms) , yet there’s absolute luxury in the services provided. ||From the open verandahs, to the super spacious premium rooms and the quaintness of the property, we loved our stay. ||We also loved the picturesque sunsets from the patio and the warmth expressed by each and every one of the staff. Special thanks to Bharat- the property manager, Swati- the F&B manager; along with- Randika, Arshad, Vikum, Nirmal, Theekshana, Sandaruwan, Kaveesh and Prasan! We send our best regards and the warmest wishes. Thank you for being so wonderful to our daughter and helping us make wonderful memories for our 10th anniversary!||The hotel staff also helped us with arranging all transport, trips to Mirissa, Yala National Park and the turtle hatchery, making our entire trip seamless!
