If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I would. The Practice delivers yoga the way it was meant to be experienced: a true integration of asana, pranayama, and meditation, grounded in self realization, self excellence, and energy management. I experienced this studio both as a drop-in student and during my 200-hour teacher training, and across the board the teachers, facilities, and staff are top notch. Every class, every session, every interaction reinforced that this is a place committed to real growth - physical, mental, and spiritual. That said, come with your expectations aligned. Do your research on what Hatha yoga is. Be open minded to lineage-based teaching if you haven’t experienced it before. If “true yoga” (in the traditional, deeper sense) is what you’re after, The Practice will be life changing. Five stars just doesn’t cut it.

Did my YTT 200 here and it was absolutely the best decision I’ve ever made! If you’re looking for something ordinary — don’t come. But if you strive to really understand the philosophy, the theory and the history of what yoga really is about, just come and experience it yourself! You’ll meet the best teachers AND the best people here. I couldn’t cherish these three weeks enough ❤️

Beautiful yoga studio. Studio opens out to the air and trees on the second floor. Very peaceful to do yoga with the sunlight and breeze. The wifi works ok if you want to hang out in the lobby before or after class.

Took a 8 am intermediate yoga class which focused a lot on the breathing techniques, the class was well structured but not too dynamic making quite good for all levels. Drop in is at 150k

Heard about the quality of teaching years ago, finally made it here for a 3-day-workshop on Tantric Fire ritual, and feels like I received a whole teacher training in 3 days! For the first time all the parts of yoga and we do it as a spiritual practice/how to do it as a spiritual practice for actual effect - made sense! Octavio, the founder, really walks the talk. The studio is a truly lovely place, breathing every bit of what they teach. Big kudos for persisting with traditional yoga 💪 Will be back for a teacher training in January!

Recently completed my 200-hour YTT at The Practice and it exceeded my expectations. It was a privilege to learn from Octavio and his team, and the experience was truly transformative. The training is deeply rooted in traditional Hatha yoga, philosophy, pranayama, and meditation, with a level of depth and integrity that really stands out. It’s demanding and definitely not a yoga holiday (why would you want that anyways!), but the challenge is totally worth it. The teachers bring a lot of clarity, discipline, and care to their teaching, which creates a supportive and focused learning environment. If you’re looking to learn and experience real yoga and growth, this is exactly where you begin. Highly recommended!

A beginner who is planning to try yoga. This is the place, the instructor gave an explanation on the yoga meaning and understanding of the yoga flow before begin. It’s easy to follow the steps and instructions are clear for me (first time trying). Starting it’s intimidating when the instructor shows an example of the steps but eventually it’s not that difficult when I did it. Highly recommend for someone who is just trying to pick up yoga.

The Practice Bali is, without question, one of the finest yoga temples on the planet. I was fortunate enough to complete both my 200-hour and 300-hour Teacher Trainings in traditional Tantric Hatha Yoga, an experience that reshaped my practice and deepened my understanding on every level. Octavio is an exceptionally intelligent and gifted teacher. He knows his craft with, and he delivers it with humility, clarity, illumination, and a wicked sense of humour. Beyond his mastery, he’s simply a genuinely good dude, grounded, real, and deeply committed to the path. Emma is a radiant expression of the divine feminine, gentle, wise, and powerful. Together, she and Octavio embody a beautiful Shiva–Shakti dynamic that holds the entire space with balance, grace, and authenticity. If you’re considering a teacher training, I couldn’t recommend The Practice Bali highly enough. It’s a sanctuary of true yogic transmission, taught with heart, integrity, and mastery.
