I have been staying at this Hotel since 2011 and have done so every year, including this past September 2024.||The staff is still welcoming and it still a good palce to saty. I find it quiet and relaxing. It is centrally located to shopping, restaurants and other places of interests such as Devon House and the Bob Marley Museum.

Clean, small outdated rooms yet pleasant service but lovely Mango tree and views from the back garden. The receptionist was so kind as to call a morning taxi which quickly arrived and was professional in nature. Barbican is a fantastic location, I tend to seek out affordable lodgings in this area for this very reason!

We arrived to Prestige on very short notice after our original hotel was not able to accept us. The location is easy to find and is in a great area. Check in was easy and the staff was polite. The rate was to our satisfaction. The rooms were clean and tidy. Will definitely recommend Prestige to interested persons and my family will be back the next time we are in kingston

Arrived in Kingston for the Buju Banton show only to find out that we were the victim of an Airbnb scam. Our wonderful driver brought us to this simple hotel frequented by the budget minded.||The hotel staff were great and professionally attentive. Our room was clean, the AC and TV worked. The water was hot. The clean, serviceable pool was a pleasant surprise. ||The food was good though locals might think it was tad expensive. 2 US for coffee. 7 US for callaloo, saltfish and boiled food. But, me and my friends found this place to be a godsend!

The hotel is simple but clean. It is located in a quiet neighborhood close to more tourist attractions. The price is fair to. But the services are very average, the selection of food and drinks is very limited and you can't get any alcohol there except of beer. And the wait times are really endless.

Stayed here 6 nights with my husband and kids they had a great time. They love going into the pool. The staffs are wonderful and pleasant they answer all the questions no matter how many time you ask. House keeping was done everyday without requesting i would leave and come back to a spotless room. The food is on point it takes a little while but that's because it is freshly done the hotel had a guard 24/7 and the gate is closed at a certain time but you still can go in and out. The room I stayed in has a.c. so that was perfect the only thing is that the room don't have any fridge other from that I had a great stay. I would go back again also i leave my belongings in the room and it was untouched.

The first time I stayed at Prestige was in 2011. It was a last minute trip to Jamaica and Hotel Prestige was recommended. My stay then was great as I wrote in my first review. I went back to Jamaica in 2013 and again stayed there. It was still a great place to stay, sorry I did not get around to writing another review then. ||||||I returned to Jamaica, January of this year (2015) and stayed at the Prestige. Still impressed. The room I stayed in was comfy as usual - my favorite. The Staff continues to give great service - polite, amicable, will go the distance to assist.||||I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I have my favorite room, the Staff still makes me feel welcome. I have no reason why I would not be staying at the Hotel Prestige when I am in Kingston, Jamaica.||||Thanks to all at Hotel Prestige for continuing to make my stays there just wonderful.

After numerous stays at this "hotel", my husband and I decided to no longer return here early 2015 as our last visit was terrible. We faced that reason simply as the staff could not be more rude. When we were brought our mediocre meal that was borderline overpriced, we were asked "where's my tip?" Just overall disappointed. ||||Due to my husband's family living in Kingston we visit frequently. With that being said there are few other hotels that we have found to be very happy comfortable and safe in. However this past weekend the weather was terrible lots of rain and we found ourselves back here at The Prestige. There was a small part of me that was looking forward to spending two nights here as my husband and I have some emotional attachment to this place from many years ago. ||We were crazy apparently. It's worse than it's ever been the staff is worse than they ever were the rooms were filthy, and they've raised their prices to almost $90US. ||The sheets in our room, had what appeared to be someone's "leakage", that was still wet. I walked to the front desk to have them replace our sheets or move us to another room, after the lady that works at the front desk (young lady) kissed her teeth at me and asked if the other bed appeared to be clean? ||||Our first morning waking up we knew from previous stays here to not wait until you're hungry to order food, I ordered our breakfast at 7:45 AM, hoping we would have it by 9 o'clock. At 9:49 my husband went and checked to find out that they made us the wrong food (not sure how you could screw that up when we are the only visitors and they only have five options for breakfast-basic), lo and behold they screwed it up, and the look on her face and her attitude implied that we should just eat it. At this point I was furious and ask him to make a spot we ordered we finally got to eat breakfast at 11:05, at the dirty table on our balcony with the ripped chairs because there was no clean tables and we were not going to dare ask that somebody wipe down the table at our balcony. ||||There is one lady that works there, she works at the front desk and I regretfully did not get her name because she's the only person that works in that hotel that I would like to subtract from this whole review. ||She needs to work somewhere else, so she's not caught up in this mess of all these terrible reviews. ||||This place needs to be shut down. ||Never EVER again.
