We have visited monte gordo many times and stayed in quite a few different hotels but this was our first time at Prime and I have to say it was definitely the best!|The hotel is spotless, the rooms are simple, modern, clean and had everything we needed.|The staff were all friendly and helpful.|The breakfast was so good - it's the first time I've stayed B&B and actually looked forward to breakfast! There was such a variety of fresh, good quality of foods I was spoilt for choice! ||It was my husbands birthday whilst we stayed and we came back from lunch to find a tray of cake and champagne for him! This was a very unexpected and thoughtful gesture.|Thank you Prime for a wonderful stay and we can't wait to visit again.

Hotel was lovely and clean. Check in process easy. Rooms were a bit on the small side, but clean and neat. Neighbourhood dogs barked incessantly throughout the night, which of course isn’t the hotels fault but it’s still a factor. |Hotel is ideally situated for both the seafront, which is stunning, and local restaurants. The Blue Parrot serves beautiful food. |Breakfast at the hotel is delicious with a wide variety of food on offer. The freshly squeezed orange juice was beautiful. Staff are so friendly. Evening entertainment was only on once during our 7 night stay sadly.|Pool area is small but is served by a cute little bar. There is a toilet there too, a disabled access toilet. One down side to this. It didn’t lock and opened outwards! |This pool area is marketed as a tranquil place to be, and for our first few days it was. Then a large group of men turned up and played lots of water polo. Lots of noise and splashing and the staff didn’t ask them to stop, therefore spoiling the peaceful atmosphere for everyone else. |All I all though, we would come back again

Average size basic rooms. Limited storage space, ok for single occupancy. Would benefit with a desk along the bare wall as tiny shelf behind bed not big enough. |Our shower came without a shower mat so was dangerously slippy and no grab rail. Had to request shower mat.|English TV channels quite poor and difficult to navigate |Small balcony with noisy traffic morning and evening. |Reception is tiny and tour company brochures kept in cupboard behind desk |Breakfast can be very crowded when busy and staff disorganised.|One positive is that staff were very pleasant.|The restaurant/breakfast room/ bar is the only place in the hotel to relax away from the bedroom apart from the pool on the roof. |The hotel is clean and well kept but in my opinion it is more suited to a 1 night stopover rather than a holiday destination.

Room is ok, sold to me as an upgrade but I thought i upgraded from this type of room when booking. Something to look into. Reception and housekeeping friendly and helpful. Super rooftop bar for drinks and lunch by pool. Lovely vibe. Unfortunately that closes early evening so getting just a drink or a coffee in the evening is hard work, with the staff being busy with the restaurant and masters at not looking towards the bar tables. Breakfast pretty good. Sort out the bar in the evening and we would definitely be back!

Overall this is a pleasant hotel with well appointed clean rooms, friendly staff and a reasonable location for both the beach (short walk) and restaurant area (also a short walk). It's major drawback is it only has one public area which in efffect is the restaurant. This doubles up as a lounge area ( not very comfortable) , bar area (seldom used) and the breakfast room and there lies the problem. Breakfast is chaotic most of the time, the food on offer is ok but the room is too small, coffee machines are randomly located where there is a space, a fresh orange machine takes up half the bar space, the toaster takes up the other half. As for the tables all I can say is choose carefully they are very close, avoid any of the tables in the centre as you will not get out without bruises!!. If this morning scrum doesn't bother you the hotel is a good choice.

A nice hotel with great rooftop bar and terrace/pool. The rooms were nice and spacious but the TVs were quite dated. The breakfast was really nice, as were the staff. They let me keep my bike in the storage with no issues. The location is good too with local restaurants only a 2 min walk away. There are Bolt taxis in the area and buses that are easy to use.

The Prime Energize is a fantastic choice hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and made welcome by the amazing staff. Our room is spacious and is kept clean on a daily basis by our lovely maid. Rituals shower gel and shampoo and a very good shower.The hotel has everything you need and the rooftop pool is stunning with plenty of lounges. Breakfast is perfect and there is an abundance of food and drink to choose from. Including freshly squeezed orange. If you dine in the restaurant in the evening, you won’t be disappointed. The food is wonderful and the presentation is 5*. We have 2 days left of our holiday but I wanted to thank all the staff at our beautiful hotel for making our stay perfect in every way.

We had a fantastic stay at The Prime Energize in Monte Gordo. The hotel is modern, stylish, and perfectly located just a short walk from the beach. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The facilities, especially the pool and spa, were excellent and made our stay extra relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Highly recommend The Prime Energize for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Monte Gordo
