We visited The Prince for my brother’s birthday — a lovely Middle Eastern restaurant with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we walked in until we left, the staff were incredibly friendly. You’re truly treated like royalty. The lamb and chicken mains were absolutely delicious and come highly recommended, especially paired with their tasty sides. One note: the kitchen closes around 10 PM, so if you enjoy long dinners, consider booking a bit earlier. Perfect spot for a birthday celebration — made even more special by the thoughtful gift they surprised us with. Bonus tip: the same group also runs Neon, a great spot if you're into Japanese cuisine!

This is my first time at The Prince. I will definitely come back again. The food was fantastic—each dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Recommended to take the 6 courses by Chef Feed me. The food were all great chosen by the chef. What truly made the evening special was the exceptional service provided by SK, CK, and their amazing crew. They were attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food paired with outstanding service!

Our first visit to this restaurant months ago was, frankly, terrible. The service was outright rude, to the point that it soured the entire experience — even the food couldn’t redeem it. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed. To their credit, the restaurant later reached out and offered us a $100 voucher to return. We decided to give it another shot — and I’m genuinely glad we did. Everything had changed. The staff had been completely turned over, and the difference was incredible. The new team of waiters and waitresses was warm, welcoming, positive, smiling, and incredibly professional. Their positive energy transformed the atmosphere and brought the whole place to life. The food was delicious, but it was the outstanding service that made the night. What was once a place we swore we’d never return to is now one we’ll happily recommend. Huge credit to the new team — you turned this into a 5-star experience.

We had a lovely time dining here—the food was delicious, the ambience was cozy and inviting, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. It was a double celebration for us—our wedding anniversary and my husband's birthday—so we were hoping for a little extra sparkle. While the brownie cake was birthday-themed (which my husband happily enjoyed), the thoughtful gesture of the vouchers truly made up for it and added a sweet surprise to our evening. Thank you to the entire team for making our celebration special. We’re already looking forward to trying the other outlets!

Disappointing food. Expensive. Served undercooked pink chicken skewers. Then when they recooked it somehow our order of 2 skewers became just 1, but we were billed for 2. And it tasted just like fried chicken skewers you could get anywhere else. Cocktails were decent though. I thought Boulevardier abit sweet, but that’s personal preference. Three Magi Fizz we liked. Fried cauliflower too salty. Hummus was good! Bread - the Yemeni Malawah was good, pita so-so. Grilled octopus was insanely expensive for a single slice that wasn’t even tasty. Texture not great either. Avoid. Beef, lamb skewers ok but nothing outstanding. Baba Ghanoush curiously abit thin or watery. Baklava Ice Cream was nice. Good service recoveries though - we did appreciate the complimentary dessert and prosecco due to seating issues and the undercooked chicken skewers. So - A for effort, and we are thankful, and due to service efforts we had a decent night out. But overall - cannot recommend a visit here if the food standard stays this way. Hopefully it’s just a one-off and other guests had better food experiences.

We are so glad to try out this place and they had a very good lunch deal. For SGD29++, you get a 4 course meal. We tried 2 different dips to start with: labneh and hummus. Both were very good. But the pita they gave us was too little and we had a lot of dip leftover with nothing to dip with. The second we tried were the falafel and cauliflower. We absolutely loved this both as they were very tasty. For mains, we had 2 kebab each. They were more tacos that kebab. We tried the mushroom, chicken, fish and lamb. The fish and lamb was the best. For dessert, the carrot cake was also nice and not too sweet. We paid SGD3 more for the baklava ice cream and this was ok. Service was really good. We only didn’t like the fact that we were charged SGD 3 for tap water. It would be nice if this was informed to us initially. And the food was not filling enough that we had to go find a second lunch. Overall though, highly recommend this place!

First impression wasn't great. Entered alone, immediately asked still or sparkling water. Knew this meant paying (but I didn't know it was $3 per person + tax/service - seemed expensive for filtered water). Said I'd wait for friends and see the menu. Waiter poured still water anyway 2 minutes later without me saying okay. Did the same quickly and smoothly when friends arrived. Felt too insistent about selling water. Anyways small stuff with the water lets flow to the food. Best Dish: 5/5 Beef short ribs. Literal melt-in-your-mouth good. Very rich though, gets 'jelat' fast. Would order it again. Excellent Veggies: 5/5 Roasted eggplant and cauliflower were perfectly cooked. Amazing flavors. Lamb: 4/5 Decent and worth the price. Had a slight gamey taste but was well done. Staples: 4/5 Haloumi, done well, delicious but very small amount. 2/5 Hummus, pita, and Yemeni bread were just... normal. Didn't feel they were worth the price charged. They didnt make me crave for more at all, it was just, meh, next. Missed Item: Ordered saffron rice but it wasn't served. We forgot about it too, and there was enough food anyway. For dessert: Good Dessert: 4/5 Rice pudding was delicious. Great balance of sweet, sour(cherry), chewy(glutinous rice), and creamy textures(coconut sorbet), the cinnamon was good to bring everything together. A great dessert. Bad Dessert: 2/5 Knafeh was a miss for me. It was a weird twist on the original, looked like a Chinese dragon whisker dessert. Taste-wise, it was just a creamy center inside crispy vermicelli with some pistachio and rose petals, as literal as the description. My main issue was it wasn't sweet at all. Not worth getting. Overall, a mixed experience. Some really good dishes (short ribs, veggies, rice pudding), but let down by water and the basic items (hummus, bread), and a poor dessert attempt (knafeh). I give the food 4 stars but it is bordering to 3. is around 3.5 for me. Maybe management/concept/chef has changed since the name change, i am not sure, because my foodie bestie gave it a 5 stars a year ago. But overall 2 stars because of the insistent selling of water even after rejecting.

It’s been a while since I last visited The Prince, but I’m so glad I returned, and even happier I brought friends along this time. I remember my first visit being a splendid experience, and I’m thrilled to say the standard hasn’t changed one bit. The updated mains menu was a great surprise, a smart move to keep things fresh and give people a reason to keep coming back. We tried a range of dishes, and all six of us ended up with different favourites - a true testament to how well-crafted each dish was. Proteins were cooked to perfection, flavours were on point, and presentation was just as impressive. This time, I also had the chance to try their dessert. A creative take on the traditional kanafeh, and it was such a pleasant finish to an already fantastic meal. Special shoutout to the amazing team who made the evening so memorable: Chef Izzat, SK, Corbin, and CK — thank you for the great food and warm hospitality. The Prince truly never disappoints.

Yelp
FANTASTIC. Thank you Fat Prince family for a wonderful, mellow lunch. Your place is beautifully designed and we felt very classy, comfortable and welcomed. So much so I mean we felt as if we could be in gym clothes and we'd still feel welcomed. If we lived in Singapore we would undoubtedly become regulars. We loved the flavors and finesse coming out of the set lunch menu. And the quality! Chef's kiss. Customer service puts you at top tier. The best service we received in 2023 came from your staff. Our waiter alone was reason to return and write a review/recommend this experience. I forget his name, but I do remember our little chat and that he is French and used to live in Hong Kong. To this tall lovely gentleman, I hope you have many happy days. Sincerely, your admirers from America.

Yelp
Set menu for lunch which was so worth it since it was $30 for 2 starters, two gyros, and dessert. The hummus and pita was probably one of the best I have ever had. The cauliflower was a little bland. The gyros were all so good and the sauces on the side are a must. The dessert was a special surprise and was good. The place is beautiful and I thank you them for giving us good service when we showed up with backpacks and some of us not very well dressed. Don't let the name Fat Prince fool you, it is a nice place!

Yelp
We were so disappointed. The food was mediocre. The fish fillet had a pound of crust surrounding it. The falafels were decent but the salad it came with was soaking in too much dressing. They seemed overwhelmed, like they were short staffed. The food was way overpriced for the quality. The hummus and bread were good and the ambiance of the restaurant was trendy and well decorated.

Yelp
Excellent place serving great middle eastern food. Great selection of innovative cocktails as well.

Yelp
Came here for dinner but was disappointed by the horrid service. We ordered 2 breads, hummus, tabbouleh, fried cauliflower, some kebabs, and a few other dishes. One of the breads came, along with a hummus. That was passable. Then the kebabs came. They were rather small and served like a taco. The meat was not warm. We thought it was strange that the tabbouleh, fried cauliflower and remaining bread hadn't arrived, so we asked the server about it. He never got back to us. We asked again when a few other dishes came, and still did not get an answer about the appetizers. An hour later we got fed up with the service, and told the staff to cancel the rest of the dishes and get us the bill. He left without a word and got us the bill - didn't bother to check what happened, didn't bother to apologize, and acted as if this was a regular occurrence. If you want passable Turkish food, try Arab Street next time. Not sure if the service there is better, but at least it'll be cheaper. At least the pita bread was toasted, i'll give them that.

Yelp
The interior of Fat Prince makes you feel as though you're transported out of Singapore and into a Middle Eastern country or dare I say it.. England! Dimly-litted, this place makes for a great date night with great service by the staff. Although I personally do not find the kebabs outstanding, they make up for it with the fantastic cocktails and ambience. Would suggest having a drink here before going to Ottomani, which serves amazing middle eastern cuisine.

Yelp
We love love love this Bar / Kebab / restaurant place. Fat prince and ottomani (in the back as a restaurant) have awesome middle eastern food. We came back to Fat Prince after a great meal in the back. And we were delighted to try a "lighter" menu but each dish (salad, Fried cauliflower, kebab) was just divine. Service was attentive and they have some creative cocktails. Highly recommended for group gatherings or date night.
