Tried out Fat Prince’s set lunch as a group - 29++ , adding 10++ if you want wine to go along with your meal. For the price, the portions of the kebabs (essentially just tacos) could have been better. The starters on the cauliflower was good. I also do not understand why despite the server taking our orders per our seating arrangement, the whole groups kebab were served in two trays all together instead of separately per individual. It is quite unhygienic as we are then required to figure out who has ordered what and then use our hands to pass the food along. Really creates additional work and hassle for everyone. Obviously no photos of kebabs as this part was chaos. If the group clearly indicates it is for sharing then maybe yes it is okay to serve in a single tray - but we clearly mentioned that everyone would be getting their own meal. Hopefully the team can take this feedback and revisit how serving practices can be improved. Baklava Ice cream ordered was also not available and we were offered the pistachio.

We had an amazing experience at Fat Prince! The food was incredible 🤤 we went for the “Feed Me” menu, and every dish was spot on. I only managed to take a few photos because I was too busy enjoying every bite! We ordered a few sides like rice, which paired perfectly with the mains (hope they include it next time, such a great combo!). Service was top-notch!!! KC took amazing care of us. His recommendations were spot on! he’s honestly one of the best in town! The free-flow drinks deal was also a highlight - just $48 for 2 hours. Overall, a lovely dining experience that I’d highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!
(Oh, and please put up a name sign soon! it’s easy to get lost! 😆)

Took my parents for their first Mediterranean food experience. The place is really cozy and condusive for conversations. Food small portions good for sharing. We loved the dips and the chicken skewer was very tender and flavourful. Overall a good experience but a little expensive

Came as a group for dinner for a friend’s birthday. We ordered the Feed Me menu. The prata was nice but a touch too sweet for my liking. Loved the fish - amazing char. Don’t miss the beef short ribs. Hummus was fine, just hummus. Loved the cauliflower. Excellent service.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was really pleasant and enjoyable, but the lunch set was somewhat disappointing. The main course consisted of just two small tacos, which felt insufficient even for me as a moderate eater. In terms of taste, the food was fairly average and didn’t quite stand out. One point to highlight is that we were charged $10 per bottle (30 dollars each) for “sustainable water,” even though we had mentioned to the waitress at the start that we only wanted tap water. While I appreciate the concept of sustainability, clearer communication on this would have been helpful.

We had the “feed me” menu which lets the chef decide our courses! Food was yummy, service by Michael was superb, and atmosphere was solid! We will definitely be back again. We really enjoyed the flavours of each dish and how each dish had just enough of that “a little more” something to provide additional umph. We loved our evening, and thank you for the thoughtful birthday gesture! Oh yes, the “adventurous” cocktail/mocktail choices were such a joy!

We left this restaurant genuinely shocked by the final bill. We ordered the “Feed Me” option for the two of us, and while the portions were small, the food and dessert were good. Before ordering, I confirmed with the server that it was one “Feed Me” to share, and he assured us it was plenty for two. Based on that, we expected to pay $78 total. When the bill arrived at over $200, we were stunned. It must have been a communication issue, but had we known it was $78 per person, we would not have ordered it — especially given the portion sizes and overall value. Nowhere on the menu does it state that the price is charged per person, and this lack of clarity made the experience feel misleading. We wish we had realized this while we were still at the restaurant, because there was absolutely no information provided—on the menu or by the staff—indicating that the “Feed Me” option was priced individually. We genuinely thought it was six small courses to share, especially since we don’t eat very much. If they are to charge this much, it needs to be stated and they should not be doubling the price unexpectedly. Certainly not worth it for the price we paid.

Came here for business lunch set 4courses $29++ Must order the baklava ice cream! The rest is average. On the positives, space was beautiful, great value for a business lunch. But that's about where it ends Negatives: food service was painfully slow. Took half an hour to get first starters out, and we had to keep rushing them as we had only 1.5hrs for lunch. Food itself seemed to have a lot of fried items for mezze, even their chickpeas were deep fried. No real standout across the starters, mezze or mains. The lamb shoulder "kebab" was very dry. The chicken kebab was better. And it was a taco. Not a kebab as advertised. The one standout was the baklava ice cream. Now that was fantastic, great texture and flavour plus with crispy filo on top. Delicious. Must order!

Yelp
FANTASTIC. Thank you Fat Prince family for a wonderful, mellow lunch. Your place is beautifully designed and we felt very classy, comfortable and welcomed. So much so I mean we felt as if we could be in gym clothes and we'd still feel welcomed. If we lived in Singapore we would undoubtedly become regulars. We loved the flavors and finesse coming out of the set lunch menu. And the quality! Chef's kiss. Customer service puts you at top tier. The best service we received in 2023 came from your staff. Our waiter alone was reason to return and write a review/recommend this experience. I forget his name, but I do remember our little chat and that he is French and used to live in Hong Kong. To this tall lovely gentleman, I hope you have many happy days. Sincerely, your admirers from America.

Yelp
Set menu for lunch which was so worth it since it was $30 for 2 starters, two gyros, and dessert. The hummus and pita was probably one of the best I have ever had. The cauliflower was a little bland. The gyros were all so good and the sauces on the side are a must. The dessert was a special surprise and was good. The place is beautiful and I thank you them for giving us good service when we showed up with backpacks and some of us not very well dressed. Don't let the name Fat Prince fool you, it is a nice place!

Yelp
We were so disappointed. The food was mediocre. The fish fillet had a pound of crust surrounding it. The falafels were decent but the salad it came with was soaking in too much dressing. They seemed overwhelmed, like they were short staffed. The food was way overpriced for the quality. The hummus and bread were good and the ambiance of the restaurant was trendy and well decorated.

Excellent place serving great middle eastern food. Great selection of innovative cocktails as well.

Yelp
Came here for dinner but was disappointed by the horrid service. We ordered 2 breads, hummus, tabbouleh, fried cauliflower, some kebabs, and a few other dishes. One of the breads came, along with a hummus. That was passable. Then the kebabs came. They were rather small and served like a taco. The meat was not warm. We thought it was strange that the tabbouleh, fried cauliflower and remaining bread hadn't arrived, so we asked the server about it. He never got back to us. We asked again when a few other dishes came, and still did not get an answer about the appetizers. An hour later we got fed up with the service, and told the staff to cancel the rest of the dishes and get us the bill. He left without a word and got us the bill - didn't bother to check what happened, didn't bother to apologize, and acted as if this was a regular occurrence. If you want passable Turkish food, try Arab Street next time. Not sure if the service there is better, but at least it'll be cheaper. At least the pita bread was toasted, i'll give them that.

Yelp
The interior of Fat Prince makes you feel as though you're transported out of Singapore and into a Middle Eastern country or dare I say it.. England! Dimly-litted, this place makes for a great date night with great service by the staff. Although I personally do not find the kebabs outstanding, they make up for it with the fantastic cocktails and ambience. Would suggest having a drink here before going to Ottomani, which serves amazing middle eastern cuisine.

Yelp
We love love love this Bar / Kebab / restaurant place. Fat prince and ottomani (in the back as a restaurant) have awesome middle eastern food. We came back to Fat Prince after a great meal in the back. And we were delighted to try a "lighter" menu but each dish (salad, Fried cauliflower, kebab) was just divine. Service was attentive and they have some creative cocktails. Highly recommended for group gatherings or date night.
