Updated Review Sep 2022 - I tried dining in today with a group of 10 people, so I was able to try many different dishes. I love the variety, all of the dishes were good, some better than the rest, some were just about average, but nothing bad. I would definitely say more people you go with, the better to be able to get more of a variety. ----- Original Review - This will be the third Thai restaurant in the same lot, luckily each one stands out from one another. The Princess menu offering feels more like a traditional Thai restaurant. It has more variety and family style portions available. So far I was only able to try one item, crispy pork with Thai basil, and it was great. Service was kind and informative, I haven't tried dining in yet though I will have to revisit with a group so I can try more dishes, especially their seafood ones. My preference for Thai food has always been family style, so I am glad this one opened up. Bowl Thai (Grill) and Sweet Rice are good too, but they feel too American/refined for my preferences; and although their portions are large enough to be shared, it's not really designed to be.

The food was pretty good. There were some dishes that stood out from others. The khao soi was only ok. It was extremely thick curry sauce. The panang curry was heavy on lime flavor. The pad see ew was a stand out, delicious. The papaya salad was amazing. The fried rice was so tasty, the best I've had in a while. The waitress did get out order wrong with the spice levels making the dishes we wanted spicy mild and vice versa but it was alright we still ate it. The worst part is the wait. I understand that each dish is prepared individually so it takes a LONG time to get food and you don't get them all at the same time.

Love to see more new Thai restaurants in the area. I went there during their soft opening week and thing are not 100% fully ready yet. We went there at around 6:30pm on Sunday for dine in and we have waited for about 45 mins+ for our foods to come out. The first thing came out was our dessert mango sticky rice! Lol. However, we got apologized from the owner and different hostesses about the long delay due to large orders. They gave us a free Thai milk tea and discount at the end to make it up. We had a very nice chat with the owner, head chef, and all the hostesses. They own different Thai restaurants and use to be the owner of Ya Yaa Thai Cuisine in Gardena. We ordered a chicken satay, Pad Thai omelette, pineapple curry, and mango sticky rice. All dishes were very flavorful and delicious! I will recommend this new Thai place to everyone and will come back again. Quick tips: This place is located right next to Wooga Sullungtang Korean restaurant and have plenty of parking sharing with Tokyo Central. This place is still new as of first week of August 2022 and be patient waiting for your foods. They are willing to go extra mil to make thing right.

I have eaten at Princess Asian Kitchen kitchen 3 times since it opened in August, and can ONLY eat at this particular Thai restaurant because my favorite Thai restaurant used to be Ya Yaa Thai and new owner Honey has kept the same menu, same amazing executive chef, except even better flavor/quality/portion size of food! Honey has also provided a very inviting atmosphere to dine in, with good lighting, comfortable seating, relaxing pastel colored walls, and intricate and beautiful Thai wall hangings. Plus, the restaurant and bathroom are super clean! I have enjoyed all the dishes that I have tried so far: shrimp fried rice (generous portion, good seasoning and loved the veges in it too), orange chicken (lightly batter coated, crunchy, flavorful chicken pieces in a delicious orange flavor sauce),drunken noodles with chicken (great portion and flavor), green curry with vegetables ( the mild curry still had a little kick to it that made my nose run, but made my taste buds dance!), shrimp rolls (shrimp is well seasoned with herbs and spices and has a great crunch due to the wonton wrapper), egg rolls (off the menu, but ask for it and you will get 5 tasty huge egg rolls stuffed with a mixture of thin rice noodles, very finely chopped cabbage and carrot and seasonings), and my new favorite dish so far, CHICKEN KAOSOI yellow curry soup ( it came with a generous portion of rice noodles, sliced cabbage, and garnishes of lime wedge, green onions, cilantro, deep friend egg noodles, sliced red onion. There was also a generous amount of thick yellow spicy coconut curry soup). I did not know what to expect when I ordered the Kaosoi since it was my first time ever trying this dish. I was very pleasantly surprised at the explosion of flavors in my mouth! It was so good that I finished the whole bowl. I was really hungry when I sat down to eat, but left with a very happy and full tummy! My favorite drink so far is the Thai Iced Tea. I asked for it with coconut milk instead of half and half, and lightly sweetened. Honey kindly granted my request, and it was perfectly made to suit my palate! So, my recommendation is to RUN to this new Thai restaurant as fast as you can to try the menu. It has something for everyone, even if you are vegan or vegetarian! 9/24/22 Update Today I had take out for lunch. I tried the delicious Thai Spicy Basil Ground Chicken with Jasmine Rice. This was a very flavorful dish and I ordered it mild, plus with a fried over easy egg recommended by owner, Honey. It was the perfect amount of spice and the crispy egg was a great addition! Loved all the veges in it too, i.e. fresh thai basil, sliced white onion, and red and green bell peppers, and also some tasty chili basil sauce to pour over the rice. I would definitely order this dish again! 10/1/22 Update I had lunch indoors today and ordered two of my favorite dishes, vegetable green curry and vege egg rolls. The vege green curry had a very generous amount of different veges like eggplant, potato, white onion, red bell pepper, carrots, cabbage, and bamboo shoots, in a delicious mild green curry sauce which still had a small kick to it which I liked. The vege egg rolls come 5 to an order, but I ordered 6. They are only about 1.50 to 1.60 each and had a balanced amount of veges and noodles today, and were very crispy and delicious! I also ordered a wonderful dessert beverage for the first time, called Lod Chong Pandan Coconut Milk. The Lod Chong beverage had bits of exotic jackfruit, coconut jelly, and green mung bean jelly, suspended in a tasty slightly sweetened mixture of half and half and coconut milk. Definitely a new favorite beverage of mine! When it was time to leave, I had enough left overs for 2 more meals - that's how generous the portion size is! Food quality is great too! I really appreciate this Thai restaurant because the owner does not allow the use of added MSG to the food. I am glad that I can count on owner, Honey, to always choose her menu ingredients with a lot of love and care!

The thai food here tastes very authentic and tasty! I had the fried fish cake for appetizer and it's made from scratch and made fresh. I ordered pad thai and panang - both extremely tasty and not sweet like other thai places. They also provided 4 types of chilis which the pickled chilis (prik dong) being my favorite. The server was very kind and informative. Will definitely come back to try their soups!

New Thai spot just open in Gardena! Amazing food and nice decor. Area: located in a hidden shopping center. With alot of parking available. Free parking so no worries on paying. Came during the evening on a weekday so not sure how busy it gets during the weekends Dine area: very astethically pleasing. All white wall couches as well as white chairs. 2 section available front and back. Tables are a little close so might get noisy on a busy day. Heads up to those. Food: where do I start? We ordered there pineapple fried rice, amazing! Must try. Comea with cashews. (Big cahsew fan here).! Also order there wonton soup. Very flavourful. As well as there orange chicken very crispy. We got there princess combination for starters. Comes mix with different popular appetizers. Must try. All of this comes served with rice. But we wanted the fried rice. Price: all of this fed 3 of us with drinks included and still had some leftover to take home for letter snacking. All of this came to under $100 and that's including a 18% tip. Can't beat that price. Service: very friendly service. They definitely interact with you. They like to ask questions and always on top of the service. Will be returning again. Probably our next new Thai spot. Ps. Don't forget to order there Thai iced tea!

Had the pad woo sen to go with chicken and shrimp Service was very nice and their hot chili sauce definitely bottle worthy. I waffled on weather to give 4 or 5 stars, but since all the other reviews so far are 5, I figured a 4 star review would give more credibility.

Great food Like I've ate there maybe 10 times in the past 6 months and so far I've haven't had anything bad. My favorite are 1. Thai basil ground chicken, 2. Fried rice with pork belly, and the 3. Khoi soi. 4. The lemon fish is especially fresh. The food is by default not too spicy and good for people who are afraid of Thai spicy.
