I recently attended Rock Night at the Priory Hotel and had an awesome experience! Even though all accommodation in Dongara was booked out, the owners of the Priory went above and beyond to help me out—super grateful for that. The staff were friendly and easy to chat with, and the whole event ran smoothly with no drama. The outdoor concert setup was fantastic, with a great vibe. Food and drinks were well priced, and everything felt well-organized. Highly recommend checking out events here—I’ll definitely be back for the Nashville night in February!

A nice old building which offered a comfortable bed and a hot shower. Clearly undergoing renovations, requiring more work, especially the car park, but I was very happy with what I got for the price I paid.

Although the ghosts were a slight inconvenience at first, we made friends with one of them and she showed us all the gems hidden in the general rubbish distributed around the hotel. The beds were very comfy, which helps with the crippling depression you develop after five minutes of staying in this place. Since there is no real reception you check in at the bar, greeted by the cheerful locals. The smell of generations that stayed in this room before us reminds me of lovely afternoons spend with my dying grandmother. The balcony was a perfect place for breakfast, once you survive walking up the vintage stairs. The surrounding tourist attractions are as energizing as the hotel. It is a MUST MUST MUST. * Nevertheless, it was a fun experience, and the hotel was clean, with free coffee/tea/water provided.

It was absolutely wonderful. Our German Shepherd dog was with us. The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed dinners at the restaurant and our dog went along to meet other doggy friends. We are defnitely going again😄 The staff were very friendly

The accommodation was dirty and run down, very disappointed. Things like the living room rug that would be easily replaced were filthy. Lovely old buildings and great location but a lot of maintenance and a very good clean are needed.

Great layout, watched the AFL final there. Friendly staff, pricey pint of Carlton and the batter on the fish was thick but otherwise okay food options.

It is a very old hotel dating to the 1880s. Lovely high ceilings and hard wood floors. Lovely atmosphere with huge vernadahs. Pub food was very good too.
