Overall, I had a good stay and would rate this hotel 7/10. The location is excellent and the staff are extremely kind and professional. The room was one of the nicest industrial-style rooms I’ve stayed in—very spacious, comfortable, and with great soundproofing, as there was absolutely no noise from the street. There were a few downsides. The bathroom was not very clean when we first arrived, especially the toilet, but after I mentioned it, the issue was handled and the room was spotless the next day. Since it’s an old renovated building, I understand that some areas may show wear, but certain details like dusty ceiling screens could be better maintained. Another small downside was that refilling the water bottle came with an extra charge, only one free bottle for the entire stay, which was surprising, although I understand this may be the hotel’s policy. Lastly, while the room was very large, the bed felt a bit small and not as comfortable as expected. That said, apart from the bathroom issue, everything else was very good, and I enjoyed my stay overall.

Public Hotel was a genuinely enjoyable experience for me. The design is modern, clean, and thoughtfully done, creating a great atmosphere from the moment you enter. The room was comfortable and well maintained, and everything felt organized and calm. The staff were professional and helpful throughout the stay, which really made a difference. The location is also very convenient for getting around the city. Overall, it was a smooth, comfortable, and high quality stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Istanbul.

Lovely quirky hotel in superb location. But what makes it are the staff as they are super friendly, cheerful and helpful. They helped with bus times tables, weighed our cases and gave us recommendations on places to eat. VEYS & DAZAN are excellent members of staff and we will def be back. Also the young girls at breakfast remembered the way we like our tea which was a nice touch ❤️

Everything was great, especially the hotel's location. The breakfast offered a good variety of cold dishes, but the hot options were somewhat limited. The hotel is much smaller than it appears in the photos, but it has a modern and chic design. The staff was excellent at listening to our needs and providing the services we requested – I really appreciated their attentiveness and service.

The hotel was in a perfect location the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The staff were fantastic especially Veysi and Doigon they were always friendly and helpful giving us information and always around to ask us how we were and was everything ok. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. Thank you for a great stay.

Very good hotel with excellent staff. When our first room had a bad smell, they immediately changed it for us, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was tasty, location is perfect near Istiklal, and the linens were very clean.

Very nice hotel with beautiful rooms and a thoughtfully designed interior that creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. Everything was clean, the service was excellent, and the location is perfect for being centrally situated. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

My first visit to Turkey& as recommended by a very good old friend I jumped up at the opportunity to stay here,a perfect place to be located centrally surrounded by all brands and an easy access to the pedestrian streets. No need to take cabs for short shopping splurges,by walk you can explore around. This hotel has a very interesting history and now that they have given it a very modern chic ambience,it stands out from the rest.This might seem like an exaggeration but the place has a special aura about it,the atmosphere is very friendly which is attributed to its staff which is readily available for assistance.The mesmerising scent takes over you as you enter the lobby and finally the room.I would def opt for it if I plan to visit again.
