This is a great restaurant and bar located inside the lovely Hotel Indigo - Vinings. I ate here several times during my stay and was surprised by how delicious each meal was. Perfect for breakfast and dinner! The bar also has several screens to watch sports and the staff is so nice and efficient. I would eat here and grab a drink even if I wasn't a hotel guest. :)

For the first time ever I have been going for the longest by living in the neighborhood had the most horrible experience. I did not receive the service I deserved as a customer coming into establishment I placed order and it took forever for my food to come to my table. 3 couples or families came in at least 30 mins to and 1 hr after me and got there food before me. The manager came to table to say order was never put into the kitchen even after the waitress literally took order. So 2-3 tables came in after and got there food while am still waiting for over an 1 1/2 to get my food. Do you know how it feels to be a regular and receive the bad service that was received by a waitress not doing their job properly by not paying attention it’s not they be super busy either. They need to do better.

visited this establishment while on a birthday vacation!! Great atmosphere!! amazing service & even better drinks!!

Google
It’s gives very much Hampton Inn food vibes. Nice atmosphere and service but he was the only waiter at the time.

I had lunch at the Public House today with my family. There was no draft beer, and the choices of bottled beer were not ideal. We got ready to order food, and I ordered mussels. The waitress said she was sorry, but they didn’t have the mussels. So...that was two strikes. I got the shrimp wrap, and it was very good. Our bill was high since my husband split a sandwich with one of our daughters. I’m pretty certain our crew will not be returning.

Google
I had a wonderful experience here because of the manager Taylor. I had a problem at first where I was seated because the sun was in my eyes and she happily addressed the situation moving my large party to another section in the restaurant. Not to mention the food was delicious and our party of 8 only waited approximately 15 minutes from the time we were seated to when our food arrived. I would give this place and the awesome manager two thumbs up!

Google
For a hotel restaurant/bar, this place is great. While we recently caught them on a bad day (their food delivery was scheduled for the next day), the service was great. Kenzie took great care of our continuously growing party. We will be back!

Google
So I showed up after a home braves game. It was already busy. There was also a big crowd there for a different function as well. All in all probably 100-125 people surrounding the bar all at once and 1 solo bartender....Gabby. She somehow managed to keep everyone served, myself included, from 930-close. In all my years travelling about and watching some of the good bartenders fault under pressure....she actually excelled. I'm still blown away at what I just witnessed. Well done Public House for keeping this gal with ya. I'll be back for sure.

Yelp
This spot is inside the Indigo Hotel. My eggs were fresh and hot. Turkey bacon was crispy. They also have a buffet for 18 dollars. Great spot for quick breakfast. Plus it's in my hotel. Easy

Yelp
We found this restaurant on Seated. There was no one else eating. The menu is very limited and differs from what we saw online. The food was surprisingly really great and big portions. Get the brussel sprouts! We have already talked about going back. The drinks were good although my margarita was made with vodka vs tequila. I just drank it. It is located in Indigo hotel. Parking is ample.

Yelp
terrible service. average food. Sadly came all the way from Atlanta. Wont make that mistake again. Manager Laura is literally the worst manager I've encountered at any restauran.

Shamar H.

Yelp
This is in a hotel not a regular brunch spot why is this listed. Mother day trying find a place to eat my daughter found this I drive all the way over here n it's in a hotel.

Earl S.

Yelp
I ordered dinner from this spot last night. It arrived timely and everything was easy to order. The shrimp on the po'boy are large, and they only give you four, which seems to be a little stingy to me. There's plenty of bread, sauce, green onions, and lettuce, but the shrimp are very few. I counted them. Y'all can be a little more generous than that given the cost of the meal. The fries were some of the best I've had. They are delicious and so good. I love the seasoning on them. The cauliflower was an add on. I love cauliflower, and it is not crunchy but more savory and bathed in a Buffalo sauce. It is not too spice, and is decent for dipping. It would be better if it is crunchy and served with a copious amount of Ranch dipping sauce.

Yelp
So... by the looks of what Yelp has that the Biz updated... walking in was a different story. The Bartender offered us the drink menu and I asked about brunch menu but she sd they no longer serve brunch due to current Covid environment. They do offer a very limited menu which she pointed @ the board where they write their daily specials but it's not a restaurant feel w/ the staff either, just a bartender to greet non-hotel guests. She suggested Meehan's Pub... so, headed there now...

Roy P.

Yelp
They had decent food for a hotel restaurant. The menu is very limited. The tots were great.

Bryanna C.

Yelp
I'd rather the hotel just have continental buffet breakfast. Whenever I come in, it's seat yourself and I'm lucky if I am greeted within 10 minutes and it takes 20 minutes just for them to take your drink order. There are people's dishes left all over the restaurant. It's ridiculous that for a very busy hotel, there is only ever one person working. With people needing to get to work, they are not in a hurry to serve you. To get faster service, sit at the bar.

Kiera C.

Yelp
This restaurant in inside a hotel and has a very nice look to it. I came early in the morning for breakfast and was welcomed by a nice lady who took care of me quickly. I ordered the avocado toast and it honestly was disappointing. It lacked avocado, I felt skimped out and it had a very odd tomato jelly. It sounded weird but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. The bread used was also not the greatest, thick but absorbed so much moisture it was soggy. The prices were fair and the staff was nice, just poor execution and I wouldn't plan on eating there again.

Yelp
Great for Sunday Breakfast / Brunch We were in town for one of the Grandson's Birthday and Sunday Morning, started looking for a good place for Brunch. After looking at some quick searches, we settled on The Public House which is in the Hotel Indigo in Vinings Look at the Brunch Menu, looked very inviting. Arrived a few minutes after 9:00am and found out that unlike many restaurants that have a Sunday Brunch, the also serve a Breakfast with a different Menu. Most items are the same but a few differences so I guess my wife will just have to wait till the next time to get her Egg on Asparagus which is only on the Brunch Menu. When you walk into the Hotel Indigo, the restaurant is to your left. Very modern and contemporary with clean lines and an open space. A bit of whimsy with a braying mule painted on the wall above of where we sat. Service is outstanding from start to finish. Waitstaff is very attentive but not intrusive and you don't want for anything. It's a very creative and eclectic menu. My wife order an item call The Full which is eggs of choice which in her case, was over easy, applewood smoked bacon, sausage patty, breakfast potatoes, grilled tomatoes, grilled mushrooms and biscuit. Serving size was very large so you will not leave hungry. As for myself, I had what they called a Low Country Benedict which is andouille, Georgia Shrimp, Blue Crab and English Muffin topped with a fried eggs and Hollandaise. Great way to start the day. By the way, one of the highlights of the meal was the great coffee. Very fresh and full of flavor, always hot and the servers made sure our cups never ran empty. Excellent spot for Breakfast and we will definitely be back on our next trip to Marietta.

Yelp
Everything I had to eat from here over the weekend went amazing. I had everything from Bananas Foster French Toast to Grits , eggs, and sausage. It was the best hotel breakfastIve had in forever. The service was amazing. If your visiting ATL this is the place to eat located in Hotel Indigo Vinings!

Mel N.

Yelp
Great Service! Went there for Cobb restaurant weekend got the Agnes burger perfectly cooked med rate needed, also got the Portabella fries. And chocolate Pecan cake, my friend got the key lime pie which I think was better than the chocolate cake! Pictured here not very many people I guess knew about the Cobb restaurant week but they definitely offer it in the beginning and also offer a choice of drinks wine etc. as a part of the restaurant week. Very attentive service would go back!

Yelp
I have been wanting to stop by the newly built Hotel indigo in Vinings! I stopped by for Sunday brunch and I'm so glad I did!!! The decor and the layout is very quaint and special--not too crowded at all! The service was impeccable and very helpful with food suggestions. You can definitely order items that are not listed on the printed menu. We ordered the Brioche French Toast with bacon. We also got the Low country egg Benedict with Georgia shrimp and andouille sausage. I had to get the country potatoes, so glad I did as well! Everything was fresh, hot and yummy. Excited to come back for lunch or dinner.

Yelp
This is a 5 star place, at least for brunch and breakfast. Service quality, decor, and location are top notch. Our Breakfast was impressively good. I didn't have such a great tasting and high quality breakfast in a long time. The pastry basket was a delicatessen. The jam was just delicious, real fruit and not just sugar. Also, you can bring your DOG! They got a beautiful patio in front of the swimming pool area. Perfect place!

Jen D.

Yelp
Food, drinks and service were good. The staff are all friendly. Thanks to our server Matt for accommodating us well!

Judi M.

Yelp
Ate at the Public House because it was late check in and we were too tired to go back out. Our waiter Demetrius was hilarious and welcoming. The drinks were strong but not well mixed. We had the Springer half chicken and the shrimp and grits. The chicken was flavorful but a little dry. The grits were better as breakfast. The sweet Chili wings tasted like the sauce out of a bottle but it was still better than the other wins we got as an appetizer. Someone had the burger while we were there and it looked good. So why three stars... I think the food could have been better for the prices

Yelp
After hearing how fantastic the food is at The Public House, I grabbed a group of girlfriends and we decided to check it out for lunch on a Saturday. It's located in the Hotel Indigo in downtown Vinings, which makes parking super easy. They weren't wrong about the food, which was fantastic, but man was the service and ambiance lackluster. We decided to eat at 1, thinking we would be able to avoid any brunch crowds. I arrived first and it was totally empty, so I had the pick of table locations. I'm 9 months pregnant, which is pretty hard to miss, and let our server know that all of the other women who would be joining me would also be pregnant (i.e. we're going to be thirsty and eat a lot). We were bummed to find out that we couldn't order brunch items on a Saturday, especially after several Yelp reviewers said they were able to do this. The lunch menu was still pretty extensive and affordable. Our group ordered the black bean burgers, shrimp BLT wrap, club sandwich, loaded house chips and edamame. All of the food was fantastic, came out relatively quickly and was cooked really well. Our server was a different story. While he was polite and friendly, he seemed to disappear for long stretches of time. Keep in mind that at the height of business while we were there, there were only 3 other 2 top tables occupied. We had to go to the bar multiple times to ask for water. When we were able to actually flag him down for refills, he oddly only refilled the glass of the girl who verbally asked, even though all of us were empty each time. We ended up having to ask the bartender to track down our checks, and he only brought one at a time to the table. On top of that, there was a really annoying house fly problem at our table. We were inside the main dining room and by the end of our meal they were everywhere. We were shooing then off our food, our faces and our clothing. The restaurant seemed super clean so it was really weird. Again, the food was great, so if you're down for a leisurely meal I think it's worth a try.

Yelp
Disclaimer: this is for advertised hours only. Attempted to frequent this establishment this Sunday. Hours said "open till 11pm". However, I showed up at 10:30pm & was told they were closed. Note to the establishment: either update the hours on your website, or accept patrons till 11pm.

Yelp
I was recommended here for brunch by an Uber driver. The restaurant is located inside Hotel Indigo - Vinings, and has a very modern and calm atmosphere. I enjoyed the chicken & waffles that were topped of with bacon and some amazing syrup. My girlfriend enjoyed her crab cakes/eggs Benedict as well. I recommend this place for a casual late brunch eater on Sunday.

Chance B.

Yelp
I travel a lot and generally speaking I won't eat in hotel bars. However the public house in the hotel indigo here is really quite good. It is a little pricey but the food is good. Was in last night and watched the crew do an excellent job although there was a wedding party causing them to be extraordinarily busy. Gabby was bartending and did a fantastic job getting through a lot of orders in a short period of time. She and the rest of the servers were all extremely helpful and were definitely working as a team. I recommend any of the hamburgers and actually the steak is pretty good too.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to try out The Public House before the Braves game yesterday in an effort to avoid some of the more crowded spots closer to Suntrust Park. Located inside of the Indigo Hotel, the Public House is a fairly small little bar & restaurant. The decor makes it seem lush, inviting, and super modern. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by Rashard who was working behind the bar (& serving & seating &....he was doin' it ALL!) He offered to seat us and took care of us throughout the meal. Rashard was definitely the highlight of the experience for me--his constant enthusiasm, his contagious smile, and his enthusiastic greetings/goodbyes to nearly everyone walking into or out of the hotel were just awesome! :) He was one of those people who, it's evident, truly enjoys his job (or else he's a tremendous actor...) I had The Standard breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, and subbed a biscuit for the toast. It was good, but nothing to write home about. (Part of that is also just what I ordered--those are all staple foods that can be hard to make magnificent but are almost always great!) My husband ordered the 3-Egg Omelet with grits and was obsessed. He says it was probably the best omelet that he'd ever had. The combination of flavors was perfect and, carnivore that he is--he says the absence of meat is what made it so good; nothing overpowered the other flavors! The ONLY flaw of our meal was that my husband was brought dirty silverware. Rashard was exceedingly apologetic, but anything dirty is just...hard to accept and it certainly mars the rest of the experience because you can't help but wonder about the cleanliness of other things, too! All-in-all, a good experience and a place we'd definitely be willing to try again!

Yelp
This restaurant is inside of a local hotel and it's a nice spot for a quick coffee or meeting place in the Vinings area. There may not be many that know this place even exists. I probably wouldn't bring it to their attention either. We were looking for a brunch spot and this was on the list, but what it didn't say was that brunch is only offered during Sunday's. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the brunch so we had a select menu with 3-5 items and we both got burgers. Go figure. The burgers were okay. The service was excellent and attentive. The food was well prepared and tasty decent for a burger. I loved the sweet potato fries though! Nice place but I will pass on any future invites here.

Yelp
I was excited to try this restaurant which is located inside Hotel Indigo (old Marriott spot), with a group of friends (we were 9 adults and 2 kids) at about 7:15pm Thursday night. At first when you walk in, you see the front desk in front of you and to the left of the lobby is the restaurant/bar. Everything seemed out of place there. I wasn't sure where the actual restaurant was because there were two parts of the restaurant, the one to the left when you walk in as I mentioned and more seating was towards the back of the lobby/hotel. We waited a good 50 minutes to be seated at the back part of the lobby which did not really look like it was part of the restaurant/bar at all. We were finally seated a little after 8:00pm, and we also asked for 1 (one) high chair for one child. Once seated we sat there, and we sat there... No server to be seen. We poured our own waters because by that time we were parched and starving! Our server finally shows up and he takes our drink orders, and our drinks took another 10 - 15 minutes to arrive while only 5 of us ordered drinks, mine was a canned Terrapin beer, which was actually very good. Mind you, this place was not even packed at all! Now it's time to take our food orders, I chose to stick with a simple dish, the grilled chicken burger and I add my toppings and fries for my side. My friends also order simple dishes which included a couple of burgers, someone else ordered a salad, another ordered a wrap and another friend ordered the chicken thigh with basmati rice (the most complex meal of us all). Another long wait for us, too cook some burgers? Come on! Our server apologized of being out of it because apparently there was another function upstairs and they were short staffed. Again, not our problem but the restaurants. One thing I forgot to mention earlier is that it took over an hour to get a high chair for one of the kids - no joke! We had to keep reminding our server for it. Maybe they had to run out and buy one for us, who knows, but after over an hour the high chair was finally came... It took a good 40 minutes or more for our dinner to arrive. Seriously? I was one of the last ones to receive my dinner and when our server was setting my food in front of me, the ketchup slid off my plate and onto my napkin and continued to roll off onto my long skirt!!!! I was mortified! Our server apologized for the accident and went to the bar to get me club soda and a small towel clean the ketchup off my skirt. Unbelievable. Now the slight positive side: the best part of my meal was my fries, definitely get the fries! Nicely seasoned and delicious. My chicken burger was okay (a little overcooked), but the mushrooms on it made it better, oh and can't forget my Terrapin beer, but thats it. Overall, I was disappointed with my dining experience at this newer restaurant in the Vining's area. Would I go back? Not really, but some of my friends said their burger was good and they will only come back if they have nothing to do and time to kill. We left the restaurant close to 10:00pm that night! Maybe the Whiskey drinks are good, but me not being a Whiskey drinker I chose not to try one. I hope this restaurant gets their act together quickly and I wish I could give it a one and a half star for the fries and beer.

Yelp
This is one of the best places in Vinings for a craft cocktail and great dinner. The Reuben I had was amazing, and the homemade pickles really showed the above and beyond this restaurant takes. The service matches the expertise of the kitchen. It seems like both the kitchen and service are running in sync with each other which makes for a great experience altogether. 10/10 would recommend to friends. Can't wait to stop back by soon!

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Fabulous craft cocktails. A friend of mine and I just came in to check out the bar on Saturday night. This place is in the lobby of the Hotel Indigo on Paces Ferry, but we had heard they had a decent selection of bourbon and rye whiskeys, so we had been wanting to check it out. Alberto waited on us at the bar and he was so warm and friendly! My friend had a classic old fashioned that was served up and really just perfect! We watched him do the whole drink and he muddled all of the fruit and then stirred the liquor and mixers in over ice and then strained it into the glass. I have become quite the snob when it comes to whiskey drinks....shaking is not acceptable it changes the flavor of the whiskey. I went for one of their house cocktails called the Smokey Skyline....my go to classic is a rye Manhattan up, but this was a very nice change. Made with bulleit rye and hint of lemon and honey. Very refreshing. The menu also looked enticing so we will be back to try the food another time soon.

Andy H.

Yelp
The good news first. The place was empty so every table was available! (We get up very early Monday mornings so we went at 5pm on a Sunday.) The table was a good size with wide, comfortable chairs. My wife had the Caesar salad with chicken and she said it was very good! She also had fries that were good. My son had the Hanger steak and he really liked it. The bad news. I ordered the NY Strip steak (most expensive item on the menu, BTW) and asked for the cook to be medium, pink in the center. It came over cooked. I sent it back and the next one came under-cooked. The meat was not pink in the center at all, just a dark reddish-brown. The asparagus side was good but honestly, how hard is it to cook asparagus well? Overall, there's nothing special or exciting about this restaurant. It is literally in the lobby of a hotel and while the service was really good (difficult to get a good handle on this because we were the only customers in the place), the food is hit-or-miss. Prices are okay. Dinner with soft drinks for 3 people came to less than $100.

Tim F.

Yelp
This place is what it is... cheap hotel food at a pricey hotel cost. If you're stuck here and don't have any options it'll suffice. Just don't expect anything amazing or anything that will stand out as something you'll crave and want the next night. I went there for breakfast and sat at the bar for 11 minutes while 2 servers were working. I was finally greeted by being told they'll be right with me after they walked past me at least a dozen times. Horrible service

Fredrick W.

Yelp
Had a salad and a 4 ounce filet for lunch my wife had a salad and a 4 ounce salmon for lunch everything was good the dressings were good the waitresses were great and my wife didn't buy a dress at the store next-door which makes it an even better place to eat

Sam B.

Yelp
I only made my Yelp account to review this place. We had a really disappointing experience here. I came with my friend for his birthday and he was very excited after reading the good reviews. That's why we were shocked when the service was slow and disorganized. Food came out wrong for some of us and others just didn't get what they ordered at all. By the end, no staff was checking on us and we waited almost an hour before going and asking for the check ourselves. One staff member was very rude to my friend even though it was the restaurant's fault for bringing out the wrong order.. I wouldn't come back here.

Joshua H.

Yelp
My fiancé and I had breakfast recently at The Public House. Although we arrived close to the end of breakfast, the kitchen was still open, but it was pretty obvious that we were an inconvenience to the young man who waited on us. The coffee was old, lukewarm, and we were never offered even one refill. The food was bland (no salt and pepper on the table either), boring, and just overall disappointing. Maybe they're better for lunch or dinner, but I wouldn't eat breakfast here again, even if it was included in my room rate.

Reynaldo M.

Yelp
Great restaurant! The manager, Naomi from Puerto Rico is absolutely amazing! The epitome of customer service. Highly recommend

Bo S.

Yelp
I was looking for brunch spots near me and this place popped up. It's located inside Hotel Indigo immediately to the left of the front entrance. This place was fantastic. Our waiter was affable and attentive, and he made the experience even more pleasant. The food was delivered quickly and was delicious. I recommend this place to anyone, especially those looking for a hidden gem.

Daniel P.

Yelp
This place never disappoints. It's in the hotel so don't get confused when you come like I did... Great food and service. I'm always impressed when the wait staff never writes down a thing, but manages to get the order right even with large parties. I also love they are available on Uber eats. I have had just about everything on the menu but my go-to is the sausage gravy and bisquits with a side of potatoes. YUM! Check this place out for breakfast and I promise you won't be disappointed.

Yolo Z.

Yelp
I stayed here for 7 days during business travel and not only was the bar service awful in the evening but the breakfast service was worse! Rude, inattentive, discourteous of patrons time and schedules - you couldn't get a coffee refill without asking several times! So you're thinking, they were busy or short staffed - neither - I was on any give day about the 5 or 6 person waiting for service! However we all heard how hard the bar wait staff works and how little she's paid... sigh! Hope management pays closer attention to his staff!

Susann D.

Yelp
Staying at The Indigo Hotel and had the greatest server at Public House - not once but several times. Cree makes you feel like you are a friend and she makes sure everything you need, you have! She TOP NOTCH! Ask for her - you will feel like home!

Nathan T.

Yelp
Very good food at a very good hotel. If Im in ATL for more than one night I always stay here at the Indigo and eat dinner here at least one night, if not more. Breakfast is also great. And typically very fast. Yaya the bartender always greets me and tries really hard to remember my name even if it's been a few months. I think she greets me more warmly than my coworkers I'm in town to see lol. Great bar, great staff (yaya!), great food, great hotel. You won't find a better hotel for the price in my opinion. And with a nice spot for food, drinks and TVs. No need to leave. For the price, boutique at it's best.

Nathalie B.

Yelp
Everything was delightful. My hubby surprised me with an early dinner and I had no idea what to expect. Its located accross from the former social Vinings which sadly is no longer in business. This bar restaurant is inside a quaint hotel in Vinings. The decor is moder chic the details are genius. We had portabello fries, shrimp and grits, and the chicken thighs with rice. What can I say; I've never had perfectly crisp portabello wedges before so perfection is the best way to describe them. They come with a creamy dipping sauce that made all the difference. They were quite filling actually. When are dishes arrived we both tasted and immediately offered to sample each others and both dishes were so amazing we couldn't decide if we wanted to keep or swap our plates. The chicken thighs were boneless and had a char grilled flavor set on a bed of buttery flavored rice. The shrimp and grits had grilled onions and mushrooms, crisp bacon, scallion to garnish all smothered with what tasted like a balsamic base sauce. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked. So we ate half then swapped dishes and swapped again hahahahaha. It was great our food came out quickly so for it to be so good and quick was two thumbs up. Great ambiance. Bar had great options but we weren't drinking tonight. I would recommend this place for sure.

Rob C.

Yelp
My wife and I had dinner and drinks at the bar. Gabby was our bartender/server - really great job!! Nice atmosphere, exceptional service, and outstanding food. My wife had the Shrimp BLT Wrap, and I had The Club - probably the best sandwich I have had in a very long time!! Would definitely recommend. -Rob

Lei R.

Yelp
This restaurant is inside of the Indigo hotel. Checked in an hour before the kitchen closed. Ordered the shrimp and grits, the NY strip steak, and the blueberry cheesecake. Received the orders back and they were a little incorrect, but that did not take away from the amazing taste. But to top it off the manager and the amazing bartender Kirstin didn't charge us for the food. Kirstin was truly apologetic and handled the situation very professionally. I was blown away by the kindness shown. The hospitality was beyond amazing!! The food was still superb and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Atlanta area. Thank you so much for the customer service!!!

Tiffany A.

Yelp
Great hotel, food and staff. I had french toast, potatoes and grits, which were great. My family said the chicken and waffles were great too. Highly recommended!

Tosha K.

Yelp
Not the worst very had but certainly not the best. We came here with some friends for my hubby birthday brunch and it was horrible. The service was horrible...the waiter was the bus boy, chef, bar tender, runner and the expediter. For 20 minutes I asked for coffee. Our.food finally came late and it was like warm, we had waffles with no syrup. It took so long for us to get silverware, we wouldn't dare ask for the food to come back out warmed. The service was horrible, we definitely won't be back ..... it took an additional 40min to get our checks...the service was horrible

Marcie C.

Yelp
This restaurant is in the Hotel Indigo. It definitely has the vibe unlike most hotels of this type. I had the pleasure of dining several times for breakfast and also enjoying happy hour drinks a couple of times during a long stay. So this review is a summary of those experiences. Breakfast-service fast and as expected early in the am. The menu is small but has something for everyone. I ordered off menu and they were able to accommodate each time. I actually ordered items they had but without all the extra stuff. Poached eggs-once a little too heavy on the vinegar used in the water for preparation and perfect the other two times. Dry toast with a couple of choices of preserves and butter on the side. With fresh seasonal fruit. Happy hour- wines on tap which is unique and most, if not all of the liquor were non-branded and small batch type. They also had a small selection of local beers. The menu is small but with a decent selection of apps, salads and entrees. I only ordered edamame and it was good. Hard to mess that up :) The vibe-packed on week nights with all of the business travelers. Friday night was sparse after 10 pm which was kind of surprising after the week day crowds. The bar and restaurant cans be LOUD which makes it hard to hear those you are seated with. Bartenders were also nice, prompt and friendly. The always asked my name and shook my hand (which I am not a fan of from a hygiene perspective, after all we all know bartenders in general don't wash their hands as often as they should and now these folks are shaking everyone's hand....) The area in general has great outdoor seating, sofas for a more relaxed area, full bar and dining area. Cool spot. The food is more than the typical hotel food. They are actually on par with all the latest trends. Kudos for that. Would I go back, yes if I am staying there again.

Yelp
This was a Friday Night Restaurant Roulette kind of decision. Otherwise, we would not have found this place hidden at the Indigo Inn. That should have been the first sign that things just weren't going to go right. This was followed by a near empty dining room at 7:30 and a very non engaging waitress. So, we ordered 2 apps for 4 people: mussles and the grilled octopus. Both were extremely flavorful; just wish there was more. Then we ordered the mains: I had the NY strip (med rare), wife had pasta bolognaise, son ha the chicken thighs and his friend had the burger. Everything came out good and to temp. I had ordered a side salad that I thought would be a substitute for potato, but somehow it came to the table after I was finished. I ate it anyway. So, now the icing. The waitress drops the check and when I pull out my credit card, she tells me that last night's storm took out their ability to take credit cards and they were only taking cash. Did I mention that I this was also a hotel? Oh, and they have an ATM in the lobby that probably charges a fee. So we go back and forth, the manager NEVER came out and, somehow miraculously, they were able to run my card. I didn't care if they couldn't charge the card until the next day but, zero problem solving and a manger that hides in the office. Needless to say, we won't be back.

Yelp
I frequently stay at the indigo when I am in Atlanta. The restaurant staff is great as is the food and drink selection. One bartender I always look forward to seeing at "the public house" is YAYA. She is super friendly and takes care of her customers with a smile and great attitude. It is a main reason I stay here.

Yelp
Such a shame this place has declined since opening. We live in the neighborhood and it was such a great addition. The servers, bartenders and food was excellent. No longer is that the case! I went for lunch and ended up leaving because the restaurant manager was interviewing someone in the restaurant , she seems to hold a lot of interviews in the open restaurant which is a distraction. It is really odd to be eating a meal and hear an interview going on next to you. This has happened twice and once she was meeting about an event In the hotel. I am not sure why she doesn't use her office space for these type meetings. Again, very odd! After her interview concluded and the person left, the manager sat and discussed with another server her head cold and how bad she felt and what she was "coughing up". Needless to say, I decided to leave and get my lunch some where else! I returned a few days later for dinner with a friend. After we waited for 20 minutes for someone to say hello and get our drink order, we decided to leave again! We decided today to give it another try because we like their club sandwich. We arrived at 2:50 pm and we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. We were told that it was a brunch menu until 3 pm. We kindly asked if we could go ahead and order lunch since it was so close to 3 pm and the sandwich was on the lunch menu. After a few minutes, our server returned and told us no. Really?!?!? How hard would it be to prepare a club sandwich when no one else was in the entire restaurant. Please don't waste your time going to The Public House. We promoted the place throughout our entire neighborhood when it opened and we're thrilled to have a new option. There are way too many great places with great service within walking distance so take my advice and skip this place.

Yelp
Service is pathetic. Coffee is good. If the food is bad I will write more But so far don't waste your time

Yelp
Super friendly service and very nice people. Came here for Sunday brunch. It was pretty empty for a 12 seating. Food was so-so. Had the chicken and waffles. Not really impressed. So maybe that's why no crowds. Or maybe because of the location inside the Indigo Hotel lobby. Either way I'm not likely to return.

Yelp
Place is fantastic. Inside the indigo hotel, but don't let that fool you. The hotel used to be the dumpy Marriott, but the new upgrades include this awesome Brew pub. I'd come here even if not staying at the hotel. Food is quality and nice selection of wine on tap and beer on tap. Very quality whiskey offerings as well. If your staying At the hotel there is almost no reason to even go out. On par with really good brew pubs out there. Hopefully they can keep the good food and great employees going long term.

Yelp
We were staying at Indigo Hotel and didn't want to get back in all the traffic to go to dinner, so we had dinner at The Public House. It was delicious!!! The service was wonderful and the cost was very reasonable. My husband and I look forward to eating there again.
