The Q Train

We came here to celebrate a birthday, and it was definitely a ten-out-of-ten experience. The staff was incredibly caring and attentive. Every time we asked for assistance, they responded with big, genuine smiles. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Our first-class tickets included a selection of beverages—beer, wine, or mocktails. Initially, we ordered some alcoholic drinks, but when we changed our minds and decided to switch to non-alcoholic options, the team was very understanding and happy to accommodate our request. I'll recommend to everyone who wants a unique dining experience.

We had the most wonderful experience on the Q train. From the moment you arrive staff are warm, friendly & knowledgeable. The menu was delicious & portion sizes were perfect. The flavours were amazing. The service could not be faulted & the staff were well organised & prompt, the entire trip was so well timed & organised. I will definitely return

This experience was something we have looked forward to for a long time and we were totally satisfied with what we received. The initial welcome was happy and friendly, we were escorted to our table and everything was explained to us. The trip was slow and peaceful, very relaxing and the food was excellent. Amy, our server was exceptional. This was everything we wanted and more. If you are looking for a casual afternoon with great food, service and something different. This would be for you. Highly recommended.

Fabulous and unique dining experience. Staff went above and beyond to make our journey memorable. The 5 course degustation menu was locally sourced and absolutely delicious. As a ‘foodie’ a little more seasoning during cooking is my only constructive criticism (non vegetarian menu). Thank you Q Train for showcasing what Victoria and the Peninsula has on offer.

It was truly a quintessential dining experience! A five course degustsion with wine or beverages pairing. It was wow from the moment we stepped on the platform and ushered to boarding our cabin. The staff were so welcoming and informative. The food were scrumptuously divine. We love the fact that every dish on our plate were locally sourced out in Bellarine region from meat, seafood, dairy, and wine. We get to see the breathtaking scenic view of Bellarine.

We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and from the moment we arrived to the moment we stepped off the train we had a good time. The food was amazing. I am not a big fish lover but the salmon was my favourite dish of the day.

My partner and I traveled in First Class on 27 Jul 25. Absolutely loved every bit of it! The cosy cabin, delicious food, tasty wine paring, and especially the experience to be on a classic train. WOW! The service is unreal! Nothing is too much for them, all service is done with a smile and sincere. They looked after us like a guest to their own home. I especially like to thank Meg, she is a gem!

A delightful experience with The Q Train! We were warmly greeted by the team when we reached the station, the 5-course meal taste good and the ingredients are locally sourced. There is a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages onboard. All the servers are friendly and passionate about what they are doing. You can expect good food and good vibe with the good scenic view!
