The Queen's Vaults

A great little watering hole. No food, but that's all good, nice crisps though and a good selection of craft beers that change regularly. Dog friendly with a jar of canine biscuits.

Disappointed by the beer and the service. Hoped this place would be so much better as previous reviews sound great. Unfortunately the chap behind the bar couldn't answer simple questions about what was on tap and seemed completely disinterested. The music was a loop of hits from the 80s that had to compete with a loud TV show on his phone that he watched whilst eating crisps. We got a taxi to the Old Dog which was an instant uplift - better selection of food and friendly welcome.

On a whistle stop tour, as I usually am, I managed to slow down and visit the Queen's Vaults. Very cosy inside and a great atmosphere. The lovely lady behind the bar seemed very knowledgeable on the local area, and the beers, and served us a few pints of Red Kite which went down a treat. If I'm ever in Ashbourne this place will definitely be on the list. P.S. Don't think they serve food, so no stars.

Realy friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Always someone in the to chat with. Super friendly staff, great selection of beers.. with different ones each time you go in . No actual food available .. but ...the pop up punjab kitchen visits regularly ... Will be in again next time we pass .. handy for the cinema too!! Keep it up every one.. love the decor!

No food ust a nice place to have a drink with friends

Our daughter had her hen party here in the upstairs room. Absolutely superb, I would highly recommend this venue. Kerry and her staff were very attentive, and we were very well looked after. Food drink and atmosphere 5 star 🌟
