The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat (Templepatrick, County Antrim) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat doesn’t do quiet luxury. It does character, cocktails, and the occasional disco ball over a Roman bath. Tucked into Templepatrick, just 20 minutes from Belfast, this 33-room boutique stay mixes country-inn charm with Soho House swagger: wrought iron beds, Belfast-designed wallpaper, and a different hand-painted rabbit in every room. Outside, the lakeside spa hums with music and prosecco-fueled laughter. Add in wood-fired bathtubs, munchie trays, and neon signage, and you’ve got a grown-up playground that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and is all the better for it." - Tablet Hotels

Hard what to know what to say about this place. Spa is a cozy and unique area with great facilities. The price of alcohol is the let down here, it is absolute insanity. prices are worse than some of the dearest places I know in London. Absolutely insane, four cocktails at the spa? £60. The only pint is corona (nearly 9 pound). I thought going into the restaurant, surely the alcohol prices were cheaper but they were still outrageous. We had a three course meal I said could I change the dessert for a shot of baby Guinness (no brainer for a bar/resturant) was told know pick either dessert or pay the insane supplement for bog standard cocktails. I mean on the drink factor alone not a chance I'll be back. Food was very good.

This is a lovely hotel, attended for family wedding. The reception area and ceremony were amazing. Excellent as a wedding venue very cosy and stylish. However, the prices they charge are outrageous for food and drink. A small330 ml 00 alcohol was about £7.60 a mineral £4.70 I don't drink alcohol but people said it was crazy. The bar food is way over priced £29 for a small piece of fish in a sauce with a side of baby potatoes not even veg etc. Food is good but very expensive. Mini bar in room so they block cc on checking in but you wouldn't buy anything as a kit kat was about £2.50. Room nice, beds very comfortable. All slightly different. The spa was OK I don't know what the big deal is, it's outside there are some jacuzzi but people.in them. There really isn't much apart from sauna and steam. Treatments prices the usual. It would be good if you could.use the spa.on the day you check put but you can't use after 11. The reservations are a nightmare never managed to get the details right. I enjoyed the stay but wouldn't ho back. If you have problems with stairs avoid at all costs they're everywhere and no lift.

Great stay! We were there for a wedding and had amazing experience. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful and the people behind the bar were great craic. I definitely recommend the spa as it is a stunning location and the views are really good. Checked out at 11 but we got a great deal where for £35 were able to use the spa after checkout for the rest of the day with a delicious lunch included.

We enjoyed a lovely break at The Rabbit recently. The room was beautifully appointed and having direct access to the spa from the floor the bedrooms are on was a bonus. |During our stay we ate in the restaurant and the palm cafe in the Spa. Both were lovely and service was great. |All the staff were lovely but a special mention is deserved for Anna in the spa and Rachael at reception. Both ladies were very friendly and helpful.

The first impression of the place was really nice — when we entered, it was beautifully decorated with a fall and Halloween theme. The restaurant was spacious, warm, and the food was absolutely delicious. Honestly, the prices were very reasonable. They offer a 1–3 course lunch menu with a great variety of dishes, plus an alcoholic drink included. Overall, I had a really lovely time there and would definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic get away! Everything is perfect. The room was amazing with great decoration, Bluetooth speaker/ contactless charging/ comfortable bed. |The room was immaculately clean. The Spa facilities are really good and immaculately clean. Although the hotel was very busy, the Spa area’s remained quiet. We got to experience all areas with ease. The food is delicious, with great choices. Every single staff member is friendly and helpful (this always makes such a difference). We had a great time. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for our friend’s wedding, which was amazing. The staff were all lovely and always smiling, and the rooms were gorgeous. The food at the wedding was amazing. The rooms were lovely and well looked after. However there was a lot of hair on the bed and found on the shower head and inside the bottom of the Dyson hair dyer. The fridge in the room was a nice add, however when we checked out the prices it put us off completely. £3.50 for Pringles which you could get a big box of Pringles at the shop for £2.00. On the bright side, we went for lunch the following day and it was gorgeous. We had strawberry daiquiris for £15.00, which was a bit pricey, but they were so nice that we still bought them. However, if someone is paying to stay, they expect decent prices.

Rooms are nice, though you'll want to spend at least 80% of your time in the spa. More personal than the Galgorm as there's alot less people here, roman baths are def the talking point of this resort! If you have that bit extra cash, book yourself a treatment, wife thoroughly enjoyed hers. Drinks are a bit pricey and can't comment on the food as we only had breakfast; which was decent enough. Nice wee break for a day/night. Probably will be back again!
