They should not be allowed to trade! Don't buy from them don't buy gift vouchers! Bough the Gameboy and games online to be delivered. The games came in a paper case with plastic sheets. The Gameboy came completely destroyed. Some sort of animal chewed on it. Case is destroyed so are the scree. I contacted them right away. Besides claiming the game boy works ( which is straight up a lie tested 20 different games non worked I also was told because they are a small shop they can't afford the shipping label. I need to bring it in. Which means two n a half hour bus travel. One direction! I tried to organise transport but was unable. I decided to send it them back and I pay shipping. But unfortunately they are now not responding anymore. Will be contacting the CCPC. And I will write a review a day until this is resolved. Kind regards.

This is a follow up to my original review about the destroyed silver Gameboy. Shortly after my initial review I received a message shown in the images. I contacted these guy's multiple times over a three-week period: I was told they were “too small” to provide a return label I offered to travel 2.5 hours one way I then offered to pay return shipping myself Two follow-up emails were ignored Only after posting a review did I receive a response. The LCD panel is cracked, which alone classifies the unit as structurally compromised. On the GBA SP, the LCD is a laminated assembly consisting of the glass panel, polarizer layers, backlight diffuser, and ribbon cable interface. A crack in the panel does not merely affect visuals — it introduces uneven pressure across the layers, causes light bleed, and progressively worsens with normal hinge movement. This type of damage is irreversible without full screen replacement and will continue to degrade over time. The hinge area shows clear impact and chew damage, which is one of the most critical failure points on this model. The hinge houses the LCD ribbon cable. Any deformation, cracking, or compression in this area places constant mechanical stress on the ribbon, leading to intermittent signal loss, flickering, freezing, or total screen failure. This is consistent with the visual damage present and explains unstable behavior. The chew marks are not cosmetic. Animal bite damage typically penetrates the outer shell and transfers force inward, micro-fracturing plastic standoffs and stressing the internal PCB mounting points. This kind of damage often introduces hairline cracks in solder joints that may still function intermittently but fail under vibration or cartridge insertion. The game cartridge slot malfunction is a known symptom of internal board stress or contamination. When inserting a cartridge causes glitches or lockups, it indicates one or more of the following: Warped cartridge connector pins Broken solder joints between the cartridge slot and the motherboard PCB flex caused by structural damage Corrosion or residue inside the slot These faults are not user-fixable without disassembly, solder rework, and parts replacement. Additionally, the corrosion visible near the ports and hinge area suggests exposure to moisture or biological contaminants. Corrosion is progressive — even if the device powers on today, the oxidation will continue to spread along traces and pads over time, eventually leading to failure. From a professional repair perspective, this unit would be classified as “parts-only / non-restorable without major component replacement.” It is not fit for sale as a working console, and it should never have been sold without explicit disclosure of all the damage.

I wanted to trade some vinyl records in and the guy behind the counter asked could I wait five minutes and he'd be ready to give me a price, which is fine. That then turned in to 20 minutes, he then asked did I want to go get a coffee and come back in ten minutes. Even when I returned you had me waiting a total of 45 minutes just to be able to complete this exchange, and it wasn't even that many records I had. So you deal with several customers finishing with them in a matter of minutes each and leave me waiting for this amount of time. That's insane and unprofessional. RAGE is a great store full of some incredible gems, but the way certain staff operate is definitely questionable. Too laid back

One of my favorite record shops in Dublin ! They still offer comfortable pre listening option not like bigger competitors ; ) I was personally into vintage house , soul , downtempo, disco edits and they have plenty used reasonably priced stuff. Guys will hand stamp your bag so analogue ;))

One of those places that looks tiny at first, and then suddenly you’ve been in that basement for two hours without noticing. It’s small, but the selection is so well curated, Their website is also updated daily, so you kind of know what you’re getting into before you go. Definitely worth a visit.

Great shop for anyone looking to get back into the retro games. The staff were very friendly and more than happy to help find any games. Will definitely be back.

Opening time shown as 11am, when arrived there was a note on the door to say they’d gone for lunch. It was 11:05. Gaming stock doesn’t have any prices on it. Which put me off buying anything as I’d have needed to continuously asked what price everything was. Gave up.

Great little shop. Have a huge selection of retro games and consoles. Very kind and helpful staff. Would visit again.
