Thank you Ragged Robin for having us ! The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful balance of taste. We truly enjoyed the entire dining experience. A special thank you to Marlena for the outstanding service. You were attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. Your warm and genuine approach made our meal even more enjoyable. It’s rare to come across such excellent hospitality, and we really appreciate the effort you put into making us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!

We had a really lovely visit to the Ragged Robin. The restaurant has been beautifully transformed and everything looks stunning. The outdoor space backing onto the river is an ideal spot for lunch or drinks. My husband had the pork tomahawk which he thoroughly enjoyed and says it was excellent. The chips were incredible. I am giving 4 stars as my burger was slightly over-charred which I did report to the waitress. All in all, it was a great visit and we’ll definitely be back. Lanyai was so helpful and attentive - thank you.

We recently visited the newly refurbished,now called The Ragged Robin in Godalming.Very colourful and imaginative decor,plenty of space both inside and out. The garden are has been extended and a large area for the children and dogs. The food was very nice,well presented and plenty of choice. All the waiting staff were pleasant and seemed to actually enjoy doing the job. Our server,Marlena was attentive,engaging in our “banter’ with a good sense of humour. We will certainly be back!

I came to The Ragged Robin a couple of weeks ago and have been meaning to leave this review ever since. The whole experience was so enjoyable that it really stuck with me. The pub has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the food was outstanding — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care. The service was just as impressive. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but I especially want to mention David, who made our visit extra memorable with his great recommendations and genuine hospitality. It’s rare to feel so well looked after. I’ll definitely be back again soon, and I’ve already been recommending The Ragged Robin to friends and family. A real gem!

I haven’t stayed overnight but I’ve been for meals 6 times now and even when we weren’t celebrating a special occasion, visiting the Ragged Robin made it a special occasion. The surroundings inside and out are absolute outstanding. Beautifully designed and done. It feels spacious which is good because it is usually very busy. The staff are all delightful and friendly. Food is superb and good value for money. The service is relaxed which is great but the only thing is that it is inclined to be a bit slow. A small point in an otherwise excellent restaurant (& bar).

Absolutely delicious food. The staff were great and the atmosphere was lovely. We went for my mums birthday and all of us had a fantastic meal. I would highly recommend the lamb main and the sticky toffee pudding dessert. Thank you for a great evening and service.
