The property is located in a prime area, which is the only real positive. There is significant construction activity nearby, and the rooms were dusty. It appeared that either the rooms had not been occupied for a long time or the air-conditioning ducts had not been cleaned for quite some time. After staying for four days, both my wife and I developed dust allergies.
If you are looking for a quiet breakfast experience, this is not the place. It felt as though the hotel had accepted more guests than it could comfortably accommodate. The breakfast area was extremely crowded—more like a local eatery than a luxury hotel.
The staff were present but largely unhelpful, with most requests being declined. The buffet is overpriced for the quality offered, and the food was average at best. One side of the large bed was completely worn out, with the springs gone, and I almost suffered a back sprain after sleeping on it. Even Wi-Fi was chargeable.
Overall, I expected much more from a hotel that is rated as five-star and known for frequent celebrity visits.
