I love bringing my friends here for dinner! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The beef tartar was absolutely a great starter. My favourite drink is one of their orange wines as it pairs with most of their star mains imo. Their cocktails is a tad bit too boozy for my liking. Favourite mains: Steak with chimichurri, chicken parm, gnocchi, and porchetta. You can’t leave without getting their tiramisu! They scoop it out from the big pan and plop it onto your plate. It’s not one of those artificial bakery ones where the coffee flavour heavily dominates the dessert. It’s perfect 10000/10!!!

Ordered oysters, kingfish crudo, warmed olives, baked gnocchi and a few drinks. Oysters arrived warm and were not pleasant to eat because of that. Kingfish crudo appeared to be not kingfish, but trevally, but we were not told this by the waiter when ordered. Baked gnocchi just sucked. Were more of a backed mashed potatoe without much nice texture. Sauce was scarce and cheese was in a form of a few slices on the plate. 1/5 for gnocchi. Could have have much better lunch for $150NZD.

Came here for my mum’s 60th birthday lunch quite spontaneously. Everything was perfect. Food was beautiful but so were the staff and vibes. Incredible music. We will be back! Thank you xxx

Was a little weary due to the mixed reviews and unfortunately the experience fell a little short for us. We started with the snapper crudo (kingi unavailable) which was served room temp/warm and didn’t taste fresh - like it had been lying out. The steak was a good size for the price and well cooked but also room temperature so the fat had already hardened. It was also under-seasoned but our table didn’t have salt or pepper. The burger was tasty, though again warm at best, so it lacked the juiciness we were expecting from their instagram photos. Service was polite, but we weren’t asked how the food was after the fish starter or the mains - which made it hard to give feedback at the time. Overall, great to see a Wellington restaurant pumping, but a few temperature and service details held it back for us. Hope the feedback is taken on board as it’s a great spot.

The food was amazing, and the service were great too. The tiramisu was absolutely spot on! I'll probably come back every time I'm in Welly.

Came in for a Sunday Xmas roast. We got one ham roast and a cheeseburger and fries. The roast was really bold and flavorful. The cheeseburger was possibly the best I have had in Wellington - juicy, saucy, simple and delicious. Fries were great as well. Service was very friendly and professional. Our wine and cocktail were nice also. Thanks for a great meal. We will be back

Unfortunately the restaurant does not cater for Celiacs! The only option was steak with no seasoning ( as the salt contained traces of gluten) and no sides due to the shared fryer. When we asked if we could get a substitute for the chips that comes with the steak, there was no substitution that could be made on the day. Lovely atmosphere though, and friendly staff. Would love to revisit if they can cater properly for celiacs too 🥰.

I love The Ram. Whether out for a meal or stopping in for a drink it’s always amazing. The service is incredible and really stands out. The food is delicious. The burger holds a special place in my heart. Always a great selection of wines and cocktails. It’s always a great vibe in there and the decor is perfect.
