"After years of requests from The Ranch Malibu devotees, the famed Spartan-meets-swanky wellness retreat opened its first East Coast outpost in Sloatsburg, New York, just an hour's ride from New York City. Set on a lakefront estate with a stone mansion built by JP Morgan in 1902, The Ranch's Hudson Valley outpost delivers guests its signature program—a blend of strength training, yoga, plant-based meals, and lots of daily hiking—in a more distilled version (either four or five days long as opposed to Malibu's multi-week offerings). Hundreds of miles of hiking trails are within easy access, including the 4,000-acre Ringwood State Park and the 40,000-acre Harriman State Park. Treatments include daily massages and optional tailored add-ons, like chiropractic treatments, energy healing, sound baths, and contrast hydrotherapy through a hot and cold plunge pool.
