The Randolph Hotel Oxford, a Graduate by Hilton

This hotel is unbeatable for its charm and location. You are in a very historic and charming place and you can feel it. The hotel is well staffed and maintained. Our rooms exceeded our expectations in terms of space and layout. It was like staying at your grandma's house. It isn't a modern place but the furniture is in good condition. The beds were super comfy and cozy. The Malin & Goertz bath products are phenomenal. The front desk was very helpful and even secured us a later check out to give us extra time to transition back home. It was so appreciated. We had purchased the half board package and ended up having a nice dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, the Alice. We had a nice drink in the drawing room and it really set a festive mood. We look forward to coming back some day.

We stayed here for two nights between Christmas and New Year 2025. Everything about our stay was perfect. The location is ideal, right in the middle of Oxford. The hotel itself is beautiful, a wonderful old building within which the rooms have been well maintained and are very comfortable. However the best part of all was the staff. Service was impeccable at all times, very friendly to talk with, and nothing was too much trouble. The best example of this was when we left a ring behind in our room, the hotel kept this for us and sent it on to our house. We are so grateful for this and the great stay we had - thank you!

Perfect location and brilliant service from everyone: concierge, reception, bar, restaurant - all professional and friendly. The room was spacious and pretty, bathroom was clean and up-to-date. The reason I gave 4 stars for the room is I think they could do with a deep clean, e.g stains on cushions cover and dusty air con pipe/grill. Not bad enough to put you off but considering the price of the room the cleanliness should match.

We regularly book spa services at The Randolph and we will never book there again. The quality has drastically reduced lately despite the prices increasing. The thermal area used to be 2-hrs, now reduced to 1-hr. The actual saunas smell like mold and musty, and unappealing. The steam room stinks and I’ve given feedback previously. The hot tub was luke warm. One sauna was broken during our visit. The rain experience shower used to have soap and body wash, that has now been removed. The changerooms had no stock of bathing suit wet bags. And the entire spa was not staffed upon our arrival. We waited 30-minutes to see someone and had to go back upstairs twice. I then went upstairs after my service to pay since there was no one at the desk. They double charged me without my consent and I lost $17CAD money due to the exchange rate refund. They didn’t refund the wrongfully charged credit card so it feels like I had to pay for their mistake. I was offered a 1-hr thermal for the inconvenience but can’t even sit in their saunas and a small discount on food. I hate leaving reviews like this, but nothing has been improved in months. In a previous overnight stay, I left a few items (Ugg slippers, facial mask) and upon returning 30-minutes later to collect these, they were mysteriously no where to be found and the blame was put on me that I must have them in my luggage. I give one extra positive star for the Alice Restaurant staff and the aesthetician that did my massage. Not worth the price or experience. Please improve the spa area for future guests!

Absolutely beautiful hotel with an exceptional staff. Exceeded our expectations in every way. It made our short trip to Oxford a stand out experience. Special shout out to Melissa who served us at high tea as well as breakfast. Her friendly smile and congeniality was stellar. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. We chose afternoon tea at The Randolph Hotel by Graduate Hotels largely because of its stunning location, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The interior is impeccable, elegant without feeling stuffy, and every seating area offers something lovely, whether it’s views outside or the charming Alice in Wonderland portraits.||Despite making our reservation on short notice, we were seated in a fantastic spot (honestly, there’s no bad seat here). From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated by a sweet sweet host. There was a brief bit of miscommunication when ordering afternoon tea, but it was quickly and kindly resolved.||David truly made the experience memorable. He was nothing short of wonderful - sweet, attentive, and clearly someone who takes great pride in his what he does. You can tell he handles all kinds of personalities with genuine care and professionalism. The entire staff was attentive and kind, even as we Americans inevitably complicated things and fumbled a bit with afternoon tea etiquette. They were more than happy to accommodate and made us feel completely at ease. Sorry David for being difficult in the beginning!! ||The presentation was beautiful, the food delicious and surprisingly filling. I was especially impressed by the quiche coming from someone who usually isn’t an egg person, that says a lot. And the scones were excellent. English scones truly outshine American ones. Ours tend to be much drier, which makes sense considering how iconic scones are here.||Next time I’m in Oxford, I’ll absolutely be booking a stay here or at the very least, returning for afternoon tea. Many thanks to David and the wonderful staff for such a lovely experience.

Great hotel stay, first time visiting Oxford and we wanted a chilled time using the spa also. Had a few rooms booked as there was a few of us. Best massages we've received, I had the maternity massage and I'd love it again. Concierge are so friendly and helpful everytime we saw them. Reception check-in and check out was smooth, staff lovely. The only thing that disappoint me was it was my partners birthday and I asked for a birthday message to be in the room which was agreed prior arrival but that never happened unfortunately, however we had a lovely upgrade with a view and it was amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated, cozy and welcoming. Would recommend to others and deffo stay again. I'd mention a few great staff members but none were wearing name badges.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were friendly and professional. They even entertained my line of nerdy history questioning. The building has a long history and it's been well taken care of over many years. Centrally located and easy for us to get around Oxford with little effort. The suite we had was a great value and the entire hotel is incredibly charming. Be sure not to miss a cocktail at the Morse Bar located just off the lobby entrance.
