I have had such a positive experience living at The Randolph and wanted to share some highlights for anyone considering moving here: Cleanliness: The first thing you notice is how well-maintained the entire property is. The common areas and hallways are always spotless, which makes coming home every day a pleasure. Gym Facilities: As someone who values fitness, the gym facilities here are fantastic. The equipment is modern, clean, and well-organized, saving me the hassle of a separate gym membership. Prompt Maintenance: The maintenance staff is incredible. They are professional, efficient, knowledgeable and always ready to address any requests with a quick turnaround time. Outstanding Management: A huge shoutout to the manager, Osyrus. He is incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely cares about the residents and their needs. Having a management team that is so approachable makes a world of difference. Overall, it is a wonderful community with a team that goes above and beyond. Highly recommended!

We lived here for over 3 years. During that time, we tolerated many issues — low-rated schools in the area, a shooting incident in the lobby, persistent pet odor in the hallways, and smoke smell across floors — mainly because the building was new. My kids were scared to even open our main door ,after the shooting incident . They never stepped out of our house without us. That is the main reason we planned to vacate the apartment. The real difficulties began during the move-out process. After purchasing a home but not knowing when construction would finish, we switched to a month-to-month lease. We accepted the noticeably higher rent because flexibility was important — we didn’t know our exact move date, which is why most tenants choose month-to-month in the first place. Unfortunately, I overlooked the 60-day notice clause in the lease because there was so much going on. But it still doesn’t make sense to me how a tenant paying elevated month-to-month rates for flexibility is expected to know their move-out date 60 days in advance. I started month-to-month on the 1st, vacated and returned keys on the 1st two months later, and informed management 45 days in advance. Despite being long-term tenants with no prior issues, management insisted that we pay for an extra 15 days simply because the notice was not a full 60 days — even though we were no longer living there. Their rigidity and lack of consideration left a very negative impression. As long-term, problem-free residents, I expected a reasonable level of flexibility or empathy — instead, policies were enforced with no regard for tenant experience. Even New Jersey’s month-to-month guidance indicates 30 days’ notice is standard, yet flexibility was non-existent here. This entire move involved significant emotional and financial stress for us, and the way management handled it made things worse rather than better. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this community — management seemed far more focused on collecting fees than valuing people or long-term residents. If you decide to stay here, I genuinely wish you luck — you may need it. If management ever reaches out with understanding or resolves this fairly, I will gladly come back and update this review. P.S Before signing any agreement make sure to read each and every line If you want to reach out to the property manager , you'll have to wait for hours outside the office because they hardly stay in there . They just have a namesake office setup

He is diligent and will follow up with you about important matters. He takes the time to answer your questions and address your concerns. I am very appreciative of his support!

I’d really give this place no stars if I could…we just lost ANOTHER property manager. New property managers come and go every few months in this building. Someone who doesn’t live here got shot in the head a while back ( still no security in place or anything to ensure that we are safe ) AC is currently broken and have about a 2 week wait until the problem gets fixed. No accommodations no empathy. ( just sitting in muggy heat in this apartment with a child). No way to contact corporate or any upper level management..property manager is scared to give us any info. Maintenance guy is great, just speaking towards property manager and the manager above her ( manager above comes every now and then and hides in the back so no one sees him)…overall just a terrible experience man. I do not recommend this place. Been here for 3 years. Done seen it all and worse. Do not waste your money.

If I could give 0 stars I would :). I lived in the Plainfield NJ complex for 2 years. During that time, someone was shot (literally shot with a gun) in the elevator lobby with zero following security measures other than an email saying ‘don’t let people in if you don’t know them’, the various office managers have costed us hundreds of dollars due to their own neglect in billing, and we’ve received nothing but disrespect from them when trying to address the issues. All you have to do to verify what I’m saying is check the other negative reviews, most are about billing errors that the office refused to correct. The only good thing I can say is that the neighbors are delightful. Do yourself a favor and pick somewhere else to live.

I’ve been living at this apartment for almost a year now and I just want to take some time out to give Jason, the maintenance guy a round of applause! All my needs are addressed quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly every time! My hot water in my shower went out and he was over in the span of five minutes and my hot water was back on running in less than 20 minutes! Very knowledgeable on his craft. He deserves a raise for his hard work!!

I have lived here for two years, and my experience has been incredibly pleasant. The staff is always kind and helpful, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. A special mention to Jason, who is always proactive and readily available whenever I need assistance. The maintenance team is excellent—everything is well taken care of. The appliances, windows, and walls are always clean and well-maintained, making my stay even more comfortable.

I moved to this apartment complex in November and have enjoyed my residence for several reasons, although certain areas do need improvement. To begin with the positive aspects, the building cultivates a warm and welcoming environment. During my initial tour of the apartment, I was concerned about the size of the rooms; however, I found them quite spacious. After placing a queen-sized bed and dressers, I discovered ample space remained. The walk-in closets are also generous in size. I am particularly fond of the bathroom, which features an exceptionally wide and deep tub that offers a luxurious bathing experience. The sink is substantial, and I find the tall mirror above it aesthetically pleasing. Another advantage is the large windows that provide abundant natural light and pleasing views. As a dog owner, I was delighted to learn that this building is pet-friendly and offers several pet-friendly amenities, including a dog park and a pet spa, which are significant advantages for pet owners. The staff members are exceptionally congenial. The manager, Tamara, stands out for her friendliness. She thoughtfully provides popcorn on Fridays and ensures the coffee bar remains well-stocked. When present in the lobby, she is readily available to assist residents. Additionally, the building benefits from a dependable maintenance staff. Jason is notably personable and responds promptly to maintenance concerns. Convenient facilities within the building include a trash disposal area, in-unit laundry, quiet workspaces and meeting rooms, and large machines on each floor. Other facilities, such as a game room, package room, and mail room, further enhance resident convenience. Unfortunately, some tenants do not keep common areas clean. The trash room often has trash and boxes left on the floor. Despite posted guidelines and clear instructions regarding correctly disposing of trash, recyclables, and cardboard, some residents neglect their responsibilities, resulting in an unsightly environment. Furthermore, the building would benefit from the installation of additional security cameras. Presently, the existence of numerous blind spots detracts from a sense of security. Installing more cameras could enhance both cleanliness and safety within the building. For instance, a camera in the trash disposal area might encourage residents to demonstrate greater respect for the cleaning staff. Overall, while the management and amenities are commendable, improvements in cleanliness and security would significantly enhance the overall experience within the building.
