The perfect spot to explore Rajah Brooke's legacy in Sarawak. When we visited in 2019, the ticket price was RM10 per adult.

The staff were attentive and friendly. The environment is pleasant, and the air conditioning was powerful. Overall, a nice experience.

Well made exhibition that was interesting and enjoyable, portraying the Ranee of Sarawak. I missed a few details on why she spent only a few years there - the exhibition implicitly made it sound different but some timelines of her life were given as well - and maybe a more nuanced narration besides the almost gushingly positive stance the museum offers. No doubt an impressive woman but it felt it was lacking the full picture. RM 20 was on the high side for the small museum but you can buy a combo ticket for RM30 to learn more about the Rajah at the Fort

Overall 4/5: Small but informative, recommended time spend : 20-30 minutes. Entrance fees: RM 10 per pax, recommend to get the Explorer Pass with Fort Margherita included, refers the official website for more information. This museum is one of the smallest but chargeble museum we have visited. Logically can finish within 5 minutes. But if you really slow down and spend time to read, you'll be walking out with better understanding of this Sarawak icon. We are not museum fans, but we kinda enjoy our time spent here. It is interesting to learn how Margaret Ranee transformed her life from someone being exile to the well-respected Queen of Sarawak. More so at the olden days she lives in. The artifacts are well maintained, and the displays do tell a good story.

The small museum showcase a little about the life of second Rajah’s wife, which is Margaret Brooke. The museum is not that detail, but still you could have a brief look at her life. I spend around 2 hour seeing all the details. Recommend it if you like history!

This 5 star is not absolutely about museum itself. The tiny museum only takes your 20 minutes. However, the museum gave me the opportunity to have an idea about Margaret Brooke. It is nice to meet you, Margaret! She is a gorgeous woman beyond her time....
