The Ravine

Simply the best meal I had while visiting Oxford for several days. Definitely make a reservation. It’s a very charming home atmosphere with very attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff. The food - in short is incredible. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. They even make their salad croutons fresh once you order - yeah they are awesome! Try at least one dish from every course offering. The portions are perfect - not too big so you don’t feel too full even after several courses. I had probably the best Mac n cheese I ever tasted, followed by salmon with a sauce that I wanted to eat by the spoonful. And the desserts are everything you them to be. If I lived in Oxford this would be my go-to place. Overall a wonderful experience. And if you’re limited on time or money when dining in Oxford make this the top of your list. I ate at another famous restaurant in town and it wasn’t nearly as good as Ravine.

Simply fantastic experience and the food was incredible for Sunday brunch. Hidden away from ole miss campus, in a quaint house converted to be a restaurant. The service was impeccable and always on point. Special call out on the house made sausage...highly recommend!

Let me just start by saying that this is by far THE BEST place I have eaten to date in Oxford. The environment was peaceful and absolutely beautiful. We were sat in front of the fireplace. We had the best waiter. All of their staff was friendly and helpful. I found my new favorite wine thanks to one of the staff members. Our food was delicious and cooked well! They were very accommodating to our child, who is 2. Our waiter even walked me out with an umbrella! We have found our new favorite place! We will be returning! Thank you so much for giving amazing and considerate customer service!

Fantastic food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. Located in a gorgeous old house off South Lamar, it's close to Oxford and well worth the drive. Food was delicious, the slider appetizers were perfect. Excellent selection of wine and mixed drinks. We had excellent service while we were there, Cory was very polite and was a wonderful server. I highly recommend this restaurant, absolutely worth it.

The food was pretty good, let's say above average. We were, however, seated next to a table of drunken women who ruined the evening. It got so bad that other guests were apologizing as they exited. We left without finishing our final course and skipped dessert. Our experience seemed to go unnoticed by the staff though. Unfortunate at that price point for sure!

One of the best meals I have ever eaten. Beyond the delicious food that lingered on the palate, the experience was exceptional. The service was perfectly attentive, with each course well timed and leaving you eagerly anticipating your next bite and the wines well paired with the fresh farm to table dinner. It was also delightful to find a restaurant with true ambiance and one that the owner didn’t feel compelled to line corner to corner with televisions. Ravine certainly stands apart in a class by itself.

We had a group of 21 - for Sunday brunch on 9/15/19 - the service and food were excellent! Everything was handled in an exemplary manner - we had the cinnamon rolls for the table (a must have!) - the oyster appetizer, hash and grillades were all very tasty! Highly recommend.

My family had a wonderful dining experience here. The restaurant is nice and the service was good. We had the Lobster and the Veal with mushrooms, both were delicious and flavorful. The desserts are also very delicious. We’ll definitely go here again.

My Wife and I had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in December of 2024 and it was wonderful! Just a great event space with a bar. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We also rented the private cabin for 2 nights. Highly recommended! Perfect for a little getaway. Thank you Katie and we would love to visit again!
