We were impressed! Sooo yummy good food here! Pretzel - was sooooooo fluffy darn good with the cheese dip - this will be our forever go-to second to a place we used to drive out far to. Waffle fries were also so yummy! Buttermilk fried chicken & gravy with mash potatoes, was also soo good. It was a very fulfilling and content meal!

We stopped by last week to celebrate my dad’s birthday. The cuisine was fantastic and the beverages were top-notch. I'm particularly fond of the empanadas they offered – I went for the poblano and cheese, buffalo chicken, and Reuben varieties. Each one hit the spot, but the buffalo chicken stole the show for me. I'd also highly suggest the island hopper cocktail; it was absolutely delightful. The service was stellar, and the live music added a great vibe that everyone seemed to love. Despite the distance, we're definitely planning a return visit – it's well worth the trip.

We are from out of town and stumbled across this great gem. The restaurant has a fun and comfortable environment, with live music offered on the weekend. My son and I enjoyed our meals which came out extremely fast. I demolished my Nashville Hot chicken with waffle fries and my son did the same with his cheeseburger sliders. The drink offerings were also amazing. The rare Bourbons were especially exciting to see along with many draft craft beer. Do your self a favor and stop by the Red Barn, you won't be disappointed. Ps, don't forget a out dessert!

The food was delicious, prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was friendly, and the best part was the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. THANK YOU, ADAM

Google
Food was awesome, but again I'm always around huge fan of potatoe skins. Service was good, it was game night and the cubs won so even better. Few rounds of pool and we headed out. All on all I'm from out of state and this place is definitely worth a night out while in town. Definitely recommend.

Google
The Red Barn is the go-to restaurant when I'm in Arlington Heights! The service is top notch. The drinks are good. House beer and food is great. I got the pizza last time and it was good, but not great. The crust is very dense but good if you like that type of crust. The fries are great. Their spicy chicken sandwich was great. Chicken wings are fantastic. Go there next time and it won't disappoint.

Google
We ordered take out on a Sunday and it was ready in 10 mins! Burger sliders with brisket beans, amazing. There was so much meat in the beans and the burgers were cooked perfectly! The spicy chicken sandwich was HUGE, like a whole chicken and a baby chick worth of meat! And you can't forget their smoked wings with Big Tasty sauce. Huge wings and smothered in sauce, can't beat that.

Yelp
BEST place ever 100% recommend!!! food great, servers nice, and vibe of the place was great.

Yelp
Cross them off the list. Everything we were served was burnt. We ordered the Fried Pickles and they came out a very dark brown with black edges. Too long in the frier. Our entrees were the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and the Big Boy Chicken Tenders. Same thing but worse. Tasted horrible and was tough/overcooked on the inside too so it was like chewing leather. Even the waffle fries were overcooked to the point when I put a fork in them, they would split like a potato chip. The server should have seen it as they were very charred but delivered them anyway. I probably should have sent it all back but it was late and we wanted to get home. Would not go back and would not recommend. Service was slow too and it was not super crowded.

Yelp
Amazing! Must stop in. Great friendly staff and amazing food! Just a great place that does it right! Try the chicken. Empanadas are amazing and brisket was great too!!!

Yelp
Greetings! This review will celebrate an unexpected find right under my nose: The Red Barn Restaurant and Brewery. It has been several years since I crossed the threshold, but Tuesday night Music Trivia and Music Bingo had me there two weeks in a row! The unexpected HIT was the Red Barn BBQ Nachos. That's our favorite snack to share and one order is great for two! The whole plate is perfectly crafted. Layers of chips, killer pulled pork, cheese sauce and other great, fresh fixings were on point! Special shout out to the Red Barn BBQ sauce itself: Tangy, with a little zip, light body, and not overpowering...perfect accompaniment for the flavor medley found on great nachos. I washed it down with two quality Guinness pints...at $6 each, a nice price to pay these days! Honorable mention to the cheese curds I sampled...I'd order those, too, but I can't get past the nachos! Other menu items heading to tables near me look equally tempting...If they're anything like the nachos, I bet the plates taste as good as they look. Bathrooms were a solid acceptable and the whole place is clean and has a great vibe! Service was attentive and timed food and drink runs quite well both nights. Props to the owners for bringing a great local hang to the Mt. Prospect area...with summer on the horizon, pints on the patio sound great! I'll be back...and next time we're trying the pizza, too! Until next time...tk

Yelp
First time here. Really great casual and fun ambiance. We came for dinner rather than drinks. The cheese curds were an excellent appetizer. Our burger, patty melt and sliders were good. The baked beans were more smokey flavored than bbq flavor. Our server was very good. We had everything we needed when we needed it. I recommend The Red Barn.

Yelp
We went to dinner at the Red Barn to see a band play. Even though I had passed by the area hundreds of times, I never noticed the Red Barn and didn't know it was there until we learned of the band playing. The space is large, and more than accommodating for larger groups - we were 15. Service started out strong, but tapered as they got busier. Nothing horrible, just not as great as what we had when we first arrived and the restaurant hadn't gotten busy yet. Food was great - I had a basic burger and fries, we ordered nachos and the giant pretzel as appetizers. Acoustics for the band were good - not too loud, and the crowd was good. It was a bit difficult to get ahold of someone at the restaurant, I called after the website said they opened and left a message because no one answered, and had to call back because no one returned my call. I'd go back.

Yelp
This was my first visit to the Red Barn. I did come here way back in the day when it was The Loft I believe. I had dinner here with a colleague and we both hit the beer menu first. Very good Hefeweizen, IPA, and Pale Ale. The Pale Ale was an extra bitter (which I never find to be bitter - not sure why the British call them such...). Food included the standard cheeseburger and some empanadas. Over all great food, beer, and service. We were seated on the second floor and enjoyed the visit from start to finish. The waitstaff was super attentive without hovering. Excellent place for food and beer. This is not far from me so I plan on returning!

Yelp
The Red Barn Restaurant and Brewery on a summer Friday night - patios set up outside with umbrellas to shade the sun; a local band plays from the parking lot beyond a fence; and lots of people having fun. This was our first visit in so many years, I don't remember when we were there last. We were so hungry when we arrived, I forgot to take many pictures - I did get two. If you haven't been, they have a very extensive menu of beer and liquor. There must have been over a dozen beers on tap, but I'm more a bourbon drinker and they had sherry casked Angel's Envy, something I've never seen at a restaurant before. Their liquor prices as very reasonable - a 2 ounce pour of Angel's Envy was $10. We were somewhere a few weeks ago where the price would have easily been twice that amount. They also have an extensive menu, decent prices, and HUGE portions. We ordered appetizers at the table - fried pickles, which I didn't try, a GIANT pretzel (and I mean it was the biggest I'd ever seen), but the stand out was we got a side of their baked beans. Wow - delicious. We all had different entrees - Calamari, Pulled Pork, Empanadas, and I had their traditional burger. Everyone was happy with their meals, but I can't comment on what I didn't have. Their burger was 1/2 pound. I ordered medium and it came out well done, but the meat was still very good and still juicy. As mentioned earlier, their portions were huge, so none of us got desert. The service was also good. There were three servers working outdoors. I'm not sure how many tables there were - I'm guessing 30+. So the servers were a bit stretched and I imagine they also had tables indoors. They were still present and attentive. The live music adds a great touch. Since it was outdoors, it was easier to talk to each other but the music was still loud so we did have to raise our voices to talk. But not as bad as it would have been indoors. We truly enjoyed our meal and the entertainment. Had the burger come out as ordered, I would have given five stars.

Yelp
We were here last night to celebrate some birthdays. Great food and awesome drinks. I especially enjoyed the empanadas. I tried the poblano and cheese, buffalo chicken and Reuben ones. All we're tasty, but the buffalo chicken was my favorite of the three. I also really recommend the island hopper, it was delicious. Service was great as well and I think we all enjoyed the live music too. We'll definitely come back even if it's a drive for us.
google avatar

ILona B.

Yelp
The food was typical bar food. Nachos and sloppy Joe were good. Fried pickles weren't great. Not sure if it was the fryer oil or breaded too heavily. Would love to try this place again for live music. Server was great and attentive.

Yelp
Another wonderful experience! We sat at the bar on a Sunday and experienced excellent service from Brandon, who was clearly wearing many hats this day! He was so attentive and friendly and our Margarita pizza was delicious! Highly recommend The Red Barn - especially when Brandon is working!!!!
google avatar

Dawn D.

Yelp
The service was great, except for the fact that he sat there and argued with my mother about the type of chicken. The food was destroyed. We had the fried pickles, but they weren't fried they were burnt, and the we had the fried chicken supposedly thighs, which were almost black And the chicken was actually stringy mentioned it to the server and we got nothing but money off on our cheesecake that we had two bites out of it's cute, but the servers takes so long to come back to you and then when they sit there and argue with the customeras she's showing him, it's stringy hardly any chicken in it. It's almost not worth coming back.

Anastasiya K.

Yelp
Very cute patio and space! Dog friendly as well! We went for Monday Burger night (all specialty burgers half off) and were stuffed! The waffle fries are a hit! The house made beer was delicious and we tried a few as a flight. The service was very good and will definitely return.

Christine D.

Yelp
It seems the food quality has dropped off greatly but the servers are always outstanding. Drinks used to be great, now they are just average. Sad to see this happen to one of our go tos.

Tyler M.

Yelp
This place is the bomb! Always have live music and great food! The waitresses named Reah and Isha are very accommodating! 5 stars!

Yelp
An alright place to drink and grab a bite, Red Barn stands out with a distinctive look that includes a nicely painted exterior and silo. Inside, you'll find a familiar bar decor but with a lot more space seat than you'd typically expect, area for live entertainment, and upstairs event area. There's plenty of beer on tap, with an impressively large bar area. This accompanies plenty of TVs that make it easy for you to catch your favorite sports. The weakest aspect of this restaurant is probably the food. The items I tried tasted like fairly standard bar fare, fairly salty and flavorful in large portions but nothing stood out in particular in terms of flavor and texture. With that said, nothing was particularly disappointing either. The daily specials are fairly well priced and will probably drive your ordering decisions. Overall, nice place to hangout and enjoy an event, with fairly standard bar food.

Susan S.

Yelp
Nice big bar to watch sports. A very disappointing 4% charge for credit cards. If it wasn't for that, we'd be back.

Yelp
Got to get to another brewery. In Mount Prospect there's none better than here. The Red Barn is a pretty easy place to identify as far as breweries and restaurants. Basically it looks a lot like a red barn, except for the patio and windows of course. The beer is by far the best thing, but they also have bar food. Beer is why people come. It's recommended to get one of the house beers, because they have a shit ton to choose from. There's something for every taste. Good prices at happy hour. The best time to stop in. It's $4 on all the house beers. The best one we had was the Wheat Thrasher Hefeweizen. It has notes of bananas and cloves. The food wasn't anywhere as good. It has basic pub food. We got the Massive Bavarian Pretzel. It's about $13 and really is massive. This comes with bourbon cracked mustard, which was the best part. Every beer is good but the food is greasy. It doesn't have anything substantial to eat besides some greasy pizza. The food also is way overpriced, and certainly prices like these discourage you from getting even good food, let alone this average sort of stuff.

Yelp
This five star review goes out to Adam the server. Given that my friends and I frequent visit the restaurant, he always makes an effort to recall our food and drink orders from previous visits. He frequently tries to strike a conversation and is always welcoming. I always appreciate him remembering to split up our checks at the end of our meal. Excellent service Adam!

Yelp
Food and brews were awesome for a Friday night. Our table enjoyed everything from the fish fry to the BLT to the Chicken Tenders. BTW... they ran out of wings and sub with chicken tenders. Biggest and tastiest tenders I have had to this point in my life. On a specific note... the fish fry was tasty and hot. One of the best in the area. Great job DJ and kitchen staff!

Jeff K.

Yelp
Experience has gone down hill since they opened. We went as a family for dinner around 7:30. We were seated for dinner in the room with the pool tables. While eating dinner, the young teenager that was playing pool repeatedly hit our party with the pool cue. Although the signs say that you must be 18 to play, there was no enforcement, which led to the encounter where the teenagers party began to verbally harass our family. The manager ultimately kicked the other group out, but the lack of being proactive by the restaurant led to a needlessly hostile situation. It's a real shame the clientele drives people away.
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. Food was excellent. Portions very generous. Potato skins were enormous. House burger was really tasty. Great wings too.
google avatar

Kayla P.

Yelp
The food was amazing! We had such a great time sitting outside with our two dogs. Our server was okay, very friendly, but a bit distracted it seemed. They didn't seem to have enough staff I guess.
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
I highly recommend this place. I started with a flight of beers and they were all delicious. You almost have to get a flight because their selection is pretty big, probably between 20-30 beers. It was Monday and they had a half off burger special, so all three of us went for that. I got the Raging Buffalo Burger. It was cooked perfectly, they made the bacon all crispy, but not burnt, and all the ingredients were in a great proportion so you could really taste everything. The other two got a patty melt ("perfect") and the Bourbon Glaze burger ("amazing"). We loved that they came with waffle fries. There aren't nearly enough places that serve waffle fries, imo. Our server was FANTASTIC. He was juggling all of the tables in the restaurant by himself, but was attentive to everyone equally. I'm just angry that I live two hours away and that this place isn't in my neighborhood.
google avatar

Ruth A.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised! Not super busy, so much so that it I think our waitress was manning tables both indoors and outdoors - kudos to her because she did a great job of checking in on us (we sat inside). $5 hazy IPAs for their beer of the month, and the cheese curds were delicious! My daughter ordered the kids Mac and cheese and it was so good - not the typical Kraft served in a bowl like other places! Real noodles and their cheese sauce was delicious. I had the chicken sliders, which were good but I wish they added a little more sauce to prevent dryness. Husband got a burger and he loved it! We will definitely be coming back.
google avatar

Cindy E.

Yelp
My best friend and I routinely choose Red Barn for our girls night out! The staff is incredible, the food is delicious, the drink selection is fantastic and they often have live music options whether it's a singer or a DJ on the weekend, you can't go wrong choosing them for a night out! Last night we even braved the frigid temperatures to have a night out and even though it was crowded for the playoffs we were still seated almost right away and our food was piping hot and didn't take long at all! Our server who I believe was named Dan remembered us like always and took great care of us! I should have more than just these three pictures for how many times we've been there but this will have to do for now! They have great bar food options but also a great kids menu and dinner options if you're feeling like a full meal! They're great for a family dinner , any event or a girl's nigh ! Definitely don't miss out on a great night out at Red Barn!

Tim O.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Can't believe we haven't been there before. Food is fantastic, we have tried several dinners there. U have to try anything that requires their smoker/bbq. Beer selection is great and the bartenders are very knowledgeable and friendly! Service was great and the bar is a great place to watch a game.

Yelp
I ate at The Red Barn on March 5 for the first time in several years. My friend and I were drawn there because their website noted they had a Friday fish fry. When we arrived, the main floor was PACKED. Every table was full and people were sitting in very close proximity to one another at the bar. No one was wearing a mask. If they had offered us a table down there, I would not have stayed, so it turned out well that they had just opened the second floor and we were the first people to be seated there. On the second floor, there are fewer tables and they are spaced much further apart. We chose a table in the back corner, where we could avoid foot traffic if other diners arrived. Once seated there, I felt totally comfortable. Our server promptly brought us menus and took our drink orders. Although the regular menu was fairly large and there was also a specials menu, neither included a fish fry. So we asked about it, and our server replied that yes, there was a fish fry. He offered no details about what it included or the price, but that's what we'd planned on eating, so we both ordered it. The meal ended up including three (small- to medium-sized) pieces of fish and crinkle-cut fries. No coleslaw or anything else, aside from dipping sauce. There was live music on the main floor, which we could hear from upstairs. It was a nice addition to our experience. We enjoyed our meals, and I'd return to try other items, but probably only post-pandemic or when it's warm enough to eat outdoors.

Hema R.

Yelp
We stopped in to grab a bite while shopping near the area. There was a large selection on the menu to pick from. We made it just in time for happy hour so we tried the green beans, they were so good! Fresh and crispy. I got the fried chicken and a side of buttered corn. The chicken was a little salty and very dry. My husband tried some of the empanadas and said they were so good! We will be back to try some other menu items. Service that day was okay, they did say they were short staffed and our waitress seemed a little rushed. They had a cute patio on the side, we didn't sit out that day as it was hot, but would love to check it out next time.
google avatar

Rachel E.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a beer, food not so good... While visiting town my friend and I checked out this place. Definitely an interesting spot, great set up in the inside, big selection of beer and wine. Bartender was nice and friendly. We ordered food and it wasn't as great, taste-wise and menu was very limited, other than that, this is a great hang out spot to grab some beers.
google avatar

Kristin K.

Yelp
Fun place! Live music, eclectic venue, family friendly, decent food (large menu). It was busy, so reservations are recommended on the weekends. We plan to go back to sample more of the menu
google avatar

Torwah N.

Yelp
The restaurant is literally a barn. It super spacious and the bartenders were quick to take orders and always made sure you had what you needed. Had and old fashion 4/10 and a whiskey sour 6/10. Cheese curds were not very good. My main dish chicken and mash was phenomenal. Over a good place to stop in for lunch or dinner.
google avatar

Nancy E.

Yelp
These people are so nice and work so hard. I usually have the southwest salad and add a hamburger for the protein. Always cooked to my order. It can be noisy but that is the crowd having fun.

Katherine M.

Yelp
We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday this past weeked at The Red Barn in the main floor party room. Everything was great! Our guests all commented that the food was delicious and that they had a great time. Thank you to everyone at The Red Barn A BIG thank you to Dawn for patiently working with me in helping to plan the party! And a HUGE thank you to Adam, our awesome server for the night. Adam was amazing and truly went above and beyond!
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
One of my go to restaurants around Mount Prospect. Great selection of beers, friendly service, good food. A little pricey but hasn't stopped me from continuing to go there for food/drinks. The giant pretzel and the wings are my favorite food items.
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
My husband and I hit up this place on our way home after a terrible night at the casino. My first impression was that this place is so freaking cute! The whole barn/country aesthetics was everything! We ordered the chicken nachos and a few of the big mamma's empanadas along with a couple of drinks. The empanadas come in a variety of options which we choose the poblano & cheese, buffalo chicken and carnitas. They were all so delicious! They had a crispy crust with a savory, gooey and cheesy inside. The nachos were phenomenal and enough to feed a large group. The drinks definitely hit the spot. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere with the live band playing great music while stuffing our faces with delicious food. Overall, it was a great way to end a night that didn't start so well. I will definitely be back and will for sure have the nachos again.

john s.

Yelp
Drived by the restaurant several times, it always seems busy. Stopped in a weeknight for dinner. Nice interior and friendly staff. Big selection of drinks. Ordered the Nashville Hot Sandwich and it was the worst one that I ever had. Sauce had a bad flavor and was hotter than most of the other Nashville Hot Sandwiches that I had. Parts of the chicken were pounded flat and hard. Outside of the sandwich, good spot.
google avatar

Nancy M.

Yelp
Well made drinks. Amazing patty melt. Tried the chicken sandwich, very tasty with the waffle fries. Comfortable. Great service. Well made drinks. Delicious food. Plan on going back.

Yelp
We had a discount incentive to try Red Barn for a free appetizer. We tried the chili sliders, and though fun, were not the best choice. Pretty basic (good, but basic) chili. For our dinner, we tried the Spanglish Fries (something to behold) and Caprese Sliders (as if this 'healthy' made up for everything else) with waffle fries on the side. Caprese sliders were good, and fries were excellent. Service was hugely slow, and it was a fairly open weeknight. If you're not in a hurry (it is a sports bar, after all) and want way too much mostly fantastic food while watching the game(s), check out The Red Barn!
google avatar

Mary Lee S.

Yelp
Didn't even get to eat here! Had 4 families with 4 boys wearing team T-shirt's. We had a total of 13 people. The host said we had too many people and were a sports team and could not accommodate us. He had already sat us with 12 people but a 13 mth was parking his car and when he came in it was too much?

Steve J.

Yelp
Fantastic place with great food and beer/ patio and some great live music , the empanadas where awesome
google avatar

Craig S.

Yelp
I only give the Red Barn 3 stars because their beer prices aren't bad and the live music was more appetizing than the food. They have a ton of work to do on the menu and food quality. The service was good but believe she was being over worked by running 6-7 tables. She could have provided better service if she was running 4-5 tables! It felt like she was being run into the ground (and I'm sure she did too). Now, onto the food. Although the menu had a lot on it, it lacked character and quality options. Too many fried options. I understand it's mostly "bar food", but MP has more/better variety options out there. The menu items we order were over fried and very greasy. My family ended up only eating about half the food served. I hope Red Barn makes an effort and try to improve their quality of food. I'm a thumbs up on the live music and drink options (and pricing).

Yelp
My fiancé's birthday was the day we went. It took a second to find parking, we pulled into the hotel but ended up figuring out there was parking in the back. Wasn't sure where the front of the building was so we went in the side with the patio. We saw some corn hole tournament set up which looked really cool! We got seated right away. There were maybe 10/12 parties in the main area. We could tell people were locals because a few were working in their laptop. This is a great sign and we decided to stay. Our server was great, he came to us quickly and brought my fiancé her drink. It was /strong/. I can't remember what she got but she liked it a lot! We ordered the empanadas, cheese and poblano pepper as well as the Buffalo chicken. Both extremely good! We really liked them! We split the green bean fries for an app and the fried chicken for dinner. The green beans tasted fresh and looked great. The breading stuck and was super tasty! The fried chicken was fantastic. We loved the atmosphere, I'm sensitive to loud music and I enjoyed not only the selection of music but the volume. We will be coming back!

Vicky H.

Yelp
I've been here many times since they opened and this review is Lon over due. My friend and I decided we wanted to try one of the Saturday specials. We ordered the Boss Hogg platter which is more than enough for 2. I've had many other dishes over the years and the food never disappoints. DJ and his staff are always helpful and friendly. It was a normal busy Saturday night, which did not deter from the normal exceptional service. Love the rustic atmosphere.

J S.

Yelp
Food is pretty good, never had anything bad here.... Love the live music... just a few issues... not noticing when you need something and you have to wave the bartender down... getting overcharged for drinks you didn't have... seems like a communication problem amongst the bartenders... still like this place but will pay extra attention to my check. Maybe keep the check in front of the customer, there is a cup on the bar for that....

Yelp
"Short on help" then don't host a band! I took my family there Sunday 8/22, to listen to our friends band which was part of the 56 Band festival. Sat inside because of newborn grandchild, not crowded inside. The service was terrible, extremely slow, no water offered, no salt or pepper, no catchup, even bar svc was slow and we sat next to it. My waffle fries tasted like they were under a heat lamp for an hour. I'm 61 and that was the worst hamburger I have ever had. Tasted like charcoal, I ordered it medium. As I said I'm with my family so I'm not going to get into it with them I know the answer "We are short help" But we did get to listen to the last two songs.....I sent them an email a week ago no reply???

Yelp
I like this place for their yummy meaty Buffalo wings...some of the best I've had. The outdoor space is nice and the live music adds to a nice summer evening. I will say the service is hit or miss. I understand everyone is short staffed and I am extremely patient with staff everywhere. What I don't like is a server who doesn't smile or acknowledge a table and waits on larger parties before a party of two who arrived first. This happened twice with the same server whose name I don't know. Having said that, last time our server was Katie and she was Awesome! She was working hard to cover her many tables but always had a smile on her face and was pleasant and fun to be around. She's the reason we'll be back!

Yelp
I am giving this a 5 star rating just from the vibe and energy that was being generated from this place. It was my first visit tonight for a work party. The parking lot was filling up fast around 7pm. It was evident that this was a popular venue. I loved the barn building and inside there was pulsing live band music (Infunktious). The place was packed with people dining, drinking, and having a good time. I had some of the thin crust pizza and it was good. I told the other half about this place after I got home, and he immediately remembered it from maybe 30 years ago, asking if it was still Miami Dolphins central. There were certainly large screen TVs showing various football games, but with new ownership since 2018, I doubt it's exactly the same place he remembered. He agreed, however, that we should go here for lunch or dinner soon. I have no doubt that he would love it here!

Yelp
Not a good fit for us! Standard bar fare offerings. Sloppy Joe Sliders were pretty good. Pulled Pork Sliders were mediocre, Burnt End Chili was not good. Waffle fries were limp. Chopped Salad was basically a big bowl of dark greens with cucumber slices and egg slices - not chopped. Beer (bottle of Modelo) was not warm, but not cold. Acoustics were non-existent. Even at 5:30 pm, patrons at the bar were rowdy and drunk - swearing and screaming, even though some nearby tables had young children.
