Best Cali Benedict I’ve had yet & I currently live in Cali! The hollandaise sauce is the 2nd best I’ve ever had, second only to the breakfast I had on Queen Mary many years ago. Prices are VERY reasonable too! Great location, great food & great service!

I have recommended this specific restaurant and the corned beef hash here as the number 1 must experience breakfast in Havasu. I came in November and thought maybe they were out of the shredded beef. I came back again same thing, they are now serving cubed dog food style corned beer. Such a shame. End of era of the most epic corned beef and hash in Havasu.

I love this place. The food is so good and the service is awesome. My wife and son love the ice coffee, it was made perfect not too sweet, Regular coffee is good as well. I had the half corn beef and potatoes. So good. I will be making this a regular stop.

Fantastic, flavorful food. Also loved the coffee. They can make creamer fresh to your liking. I will be back. I had the veggie omelet with sliced tomatoes. It was the BEST I have ever had. Update... you must try the Onion Rings!!!! Love them. Also they will bring a carafe of water or soda if you are thirsty. Dog friendly patio with misters. They have a full service bar❤️🐕💯

Edit Update 10/17/24... came back for lunch. It sucked. The meat was a joke on my sandwich, and it was made with the wrong bread. It's pretty sad that there are no decent places to dine here in Havasu. The order was incorrect, and the waitress was too engrossed in conversing with the others at the register. By the time she bothered to come back, my wife was pretty much done. People order things a certain way, all you have to do is provide a service... you can't even do that. I still love your chicken fried steak, too bad I'll never come back for it. Great food. The best we've had for breakfast in Lake Havasu. The service was good, but not great, and the atmospere is far too loud. Due to the food, though, we will be back! Best Chicken Fried Steak in Havasu!

Food was solid but nothing special. My omelette seemed pretty small like it was 2 eggs rather than the standard 3 eggs. Service was efficient and she got all our modifications correct. Ordered cappuccino from the in-house espresso place and it was also ok but nothing special.

Excellent breakfast. The homefries were great especially with all the different hot sauces available on the table. I had the chili omelet which was great and my boyfriend had the apple cinnamon stuffed french toast. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area! They have lots of morning adult drinks as well, even a bloody Mary bar !

With the cost of going out to eat, a restaurant must shine in two areas: food & service. The RO excels in these. Even on the busy, first day of Winterfest in Lake Havasu, they were great. Four of us went in & got the last inside table. They were packed! But, our server was quick, friendly & made a couple of suggestions that I found helpful. The meals arrived after just a few minutes & were hot & tasty. I really enjoyed the sausage patty with eggs. We come to the Winterfest every year & the Red Onion is where we always eat breakfast.

My friend has been coming here for years and he brought me to this joint. The place didn't disappoint. Since he's the one that's been the regular patron, I'll tell the review from his point of view as I trust him. He says, "everything I've had here is really good." They have daily specials and they are always rotating their specials so their selections aren't stale. The place has great vibe and when I visit the area again, I'll be sure to come here again.

My best friend and I went to Havasu on a turn around trip, because She has a home there and needed to take care of some things. There are several wonderful restaurants in Havasu, but she insisted on Red Onion, and boy am I glad she did. The menu had a nice variety of dishes for every dietary need. We both ordered the French dip sandwich with their seasoned steak fries. The dip was on a nice, large, crunchy role and they didn't go cheap on the beef. I personally love a good steak french fry . I was not disappointed in these fries. They were seasoned and cooked to just the right crunchiness. The restaurant sits on the Main Street downtown, looking out at the shops. I loved the large sliding wall of windows that opens up and makes you feel outside, but with A/C. Our server was prompt and very accommodating. She brought our drinks within 5 minutes. This restaurant has a full bar with microbrews as well as their own specialty cocktails. The drinks we ordered were fine, but I should've tried one off their speciality list. . We both ordered a vodka soda, mine with a cranberry back and my friends with OJ back. It all came out as requested. Bathroom was clean and stocked. The overall aesthetic of this restaurant is casual but seems like a great place for a first date, as long as it's breakfast or lunch. The hours are very limited. Over all, Red Onion gets 5 from me. Even if you don't like onions, give it a try. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

We went for breakfast, and it's such a cute open airy spot. Also serving specialty coffees. A great menu full of variety serving brunch type food. Get Kelsey as your server! She is kind, quick, and knowledgeable with the menu. I had a delicious cappuccino. Then we had "the bird" a turkey Boursin cheese avocado and mushroom omelet, and the egg breakfast. My bird omelet came out ice cold ....BUT.... Kelsey and the cooks handled it beautifully. She was empathetic and agreed it was and when I tell you they had a new one piping hot and fresh in just a few minutes! It more than made up for the cold food. Kelsey really cares about her guests experience and needs a raise! So do the cooks! Everything was flavorful nd delicious and we will definitely be back!

Always one of our favorite breakfast locations in LHC. Service is always spot on and the food is fresh and very tasty. Hubby and I both ordered the traditional eggs Benedict and it's one of the best around. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite restaurant in Havasu city Arizona. The French dip is so good. Made with love, I recently had the red Reuben with portobello instead of the meat and it was so amazing. The servers are all sweet and never miss a beat. All food comes out ready to eat. It needs no salt no condiments their bread comes from a local bakery and is perfectly made. They have perfect pancakes And and French toast. The restraint was an old bank and they made it much more. Coffee shop and a bar. I love this place so much. All the servers are great. But Paula has been our favorite.

Awesome . We just had breakfast and let me just say what a cool experience. No wait time. Very nice staff. Love the decor and almost vintage appeal. The food was si tasty and you can tell cooked from the heart. Love the Red Onion.

Sandwiches at this place are on point! Highly recommend the pastrami on a hoagie roll. Cool spot to people and car watch. Wide open seating area to the sidewalk is dope!

Finally, I found you! What a great place to enjoy your Sunday. We came in pretty early knowing this place gets packed. (9:52am) Our wait was only about 15 mins. Seated outside on the patio. we enjoyed every minute here. Paula was our server she was on it! Prompt, cheerful and accurate. Loved all her good energy! Plenty of menu items to try here. Today, I choose Chorizo and Eggs. It came with your choice of hash browns or home fries, your choice of toast or a tortilla. Yummy ! Everything was so delicious.My bf had a breakfast Sandwich with bacon on sourdough! He enjoyed it. Next was his brother he ordered the Cornbeef and hash! It looked good. He said it was fantastic. The table behind us had to ask the waitress what he ordered because it looked so amazing! Great job Red Onion cant wait to come back. Next time I'll be having a bloody mary and whatever else I want! Oh! I am most forgot my hashbrowns were cooked perfect!

The food was amazing as well as the service and sitting outside was nice and refreshing. What a great find.

ohh-em-gee! This was place so cute and quaint. For anyone not local to Lake Havasu City, I equate the layout to a mediteranean restaurant in downtown claremoent -- partitioned by a patio with a 2 in 1 restaurant feel. The restaurant is adorned with brick and rustic / exposed hardware but also has an "open" feel with many windows to look out into downtown or to the walkway in between. We ate here with a family friend. The service was prompt, thorough, and timely. The food tasted clean -- as in no greasiness -- and was everything we asked for. I had the Jalapeno Pepper Jack Burger, kids had the french toast and eggs and meat, and our friend had the Brunch Burger. I was particularly struck by the healthy food portion for the kids' meals -- they did not skimp and I appreciated that as my kids are BIG eaters. The icing on the cake was a well seasoned Bloody Mary that came topped with parmesan cheese shreds -- a super nice surprise that went very fast! *pics to come*

Day trip with the fam and there were several dining options but this place was packed at 11:30 on a Monday! The service was great and our server left us a carafe of ice tea to refill ourselves; big points for that. We were a party of three and ordered 2 burgers and the pulled pork sandwich. Everything arrived promptly and it was delicious. I upgraded to the onion rings and these are the best onion rings I think I have ever eaten. My onion roll was a bit dry and fell apart but that was the only complaint. Prices were great for what you get A slight drawback is that there were lots of hard surfaces so it was loud inside. Also, single serve gendered restrooms were too old school; you could just make them each a bathroom.

The Red Onion never fails to impress! I've been coming here for years, and the service and food are consistently excellent. Their Bloody Marys are a must-try--absolutely delicious! The outdoor patio and spacious indoor seating create a lively, inviting atmosphere. Plus, it's dog-friendly, which is a huge bonus when you want to bring your well-behaved fur baby along. Highly recommend

Hubby & I had brunch here today. The service was excellent! We appreciated our server bringing a carafe of iced tea with our glasses. Some times when they do this it can be bad because they ignore you. This was not the case! We both had iced tea. Hubby had the pancake, scrambled eggs and sausage. I had the BLT with the cafe chips. Hubby really liked his. Mine was really good as well.

My husband and I ate breakfast here before leaving Havasu this morning. Wait was not too long. We were seated by the door that was the entrance AND the door to their bar area which they also seated for breakfast. We asked to be move as soon as we sat down, but there was nowhere to be moved. I ordered the pulled pork eggs Benny special and my husband ordered pancakes, eggs, and ham. The food tasted good but unfortunately was cold very quickly due to not only customers coming and going, but the employees were running back and forth between buildings. I never removed my coat while eating. We might have been better off to sit on the patio in the sun! Our server was very sweet and took good care of us but that cold wind coming in the door ruined our experience here. I would have given 4 stars but lost one to eating cold food and not able to take my coat off.

This was a great place for a brunch! We had a group of 8, they were able to seat us with no issue. We were able to sit outside which was nice. I have a weakness for a great chicken fried steak, so I was eager to try it when I saw it on the menu, and I thought it was great! I was pleased. The only small issue probably was that the misters were on, because it was hot outside, however, the mister was continuously dripping sprinkler water on me and on the table. It was so busy there though that moving tables wouldn't be an option. I'm sure that is rarely an issue for customers.

Stacy our server was AWESOME again. Cheeseburgers are great. We also love the corned beef hash and eggs. Mimosas and their Bloody Mary's are like a meal, pic next time. Try them out!

Had breakfast food here yesterday. $34+ for 2: cornbeef hash and 2 scrambled eggs (dry and not scrambled), 3 pcs bacon w/fatty ends you have to bite off, dry hashbrowns fluffed up/not flat, 1 pancake (greasy), and syrup. The syrup was in a tall square bottle (hard to grasp) with a big funnel spout but the tiniest hole inside the bottle so the syrup dribbles out extremely slow. Cornbeef hash had too many chunky potatoes. Food was not remarkable...I get tastier eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, pancakes and syrup at McD for the same price. Huge doors are open to the outside air. Extremely loud so you can't converse. They put a lemon slice in the water glass so your water tastes sour. Not my thing. Service was just ok.

Looking for breakfast one morning we decided on this spot, and it was a great decision! It's a cute little spot (not to sound like a woman) but they had a nice patio and indoors was designed good as well. I'm not sure if they had 2 indoor dining buildings on each side of the patio outdoors but it did seem like it. Anyway, it was like 8 AM when we went and they did not judge at all when I asked if I can have a beer. Server was real nice although it did seem like we waited on food to be served for a little bit. Nothing to an extreme but I can't imagine it take long to make a few pancakes and eggs. The pancakes were real good and very very fluffy, I thought they forgot about my sausage but it was hidden underneath the pancakes. The eggs were bland but there's salt n pepper n stuff there on the table for you. The pancakes are ginormous also, the biggest I've ever seen in person. They have a ton of menu items that sound delightful that I would love to try sometime. Overall between the atmosphere and menu and everything I really enjoyed The Red Onion and would recommend it to anyone.

I ate it. I was really hungry, but I didn't really enjoy it. Paper thin Canadian bacon... Menu said thick sliced Canadian bacon... lol...If you were to hold up against the light, you could see through it. Tomato Was mushy and should've been thrown out two days ago. The sauce tasted like it was made with margarine or dry package mix. This is my first time there I will be going back to try something different, but never order the eggs Benny Benedict again or any Benedict items Service was adequate... Would hate to be there when it was busy

I love this place, every time we are in town we eat breakfast here. The food is delicious and affordable. The Mexican food dish plates are authentic. Service is great and place is always clean. The only reason I gave them a 4 star is because they don't have lactose free powder creamer or lactose free flavored creamers and I totally dislike black coffee

Stop in there for breakfast one morning and I had biscuits and gravy with chorizo. That was one awesome breakfast good job red onion.

We do like this place! Although one of my pet peeves is when the server doesn't know some of the aspects of where they are working. She had a special but had trouble explaining it. She also wasn't familiar with the beer menu. My wife had the French dip, I had the desert burger. The fries on both plates were like warm at best. We passed on the beer and had water. I would go back, but please servers know your menu!

Gave this place a try when a friend recommended it while we were spending a few days at Lake Havasu. I had the corned beef and it had great flavor and was a large portion. The sourdough toast was excellent, but could have used jelly. Was still good with a little honey on it. I had to try the Bloody Mary as somebody had said it was the best they have ever had. It was good, and certainly not disappointing. Not sure it was the best, but I have had a lot of Bloody Mary's, and this one was certainly good. The Parmesan cheese was a nice addition. The servers were quite busy but were friendly and efficient at making sure we were taken care of. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area.

Ordered breakfast to go on a Saturday morning before the lake. It took a few calls before they picked up the phone and when I showed up to the restaurant, they seemed very busy. They had inside and outside seating. I was helped as soon as I walked inside to the hostess desk. Food was really good and fresh. We got a turkey burger with a fried egg and hash browns and the steak and eggs. Steak was too well done but still tasty. Turkey burger was lean meat and delicious. Definitely coming back here for breakfast when we are in town again!

Writing this review for my grandmother as she doesn't really use a phone.after going to the establishment myself and loving it I recommended it to my loving grandma of course. . After hearing her experience I don't think we will be returning. I regret it, she said the lady helping her name savanah was not nice and seem to have no patience . Very disappointing.

Food was delicious. Wait staff was very efficient. There is indoor and outdoor seating, which is very appealing.

Haven't Yelped in forever - choosing to wield my influence sparingly haha - but I have to say, Bailey the barista makes the best cup of coffee I've ever had anywhere, and it's not even close! On top of that, she is incredibly friendly and engaging, and lights up your day. Overall food and service is great - this place is a gem! Very popular spot, so plan ahead!

This place is a must visit when in Havasu! They have the BEST bloody Mary's ( add the parm cheese) you won't be disappointed!!!

Came on a Friday morning . Place was jumping . Everyone was working hard and staff worked hard to get us a table . I absolutely love a good breakfast . Food was very tasty and fast . Hash brown and eggs were done right ! Sad this place is far from where I live . Wife had an omelet and loved it as well . I would have posted photos but the food was gone pretty quick . Portions were good as well .

I have been wanting to try this place for brunch and my friends and I were trying to find a place to cure our hangover. The service and food disappointed all of us. We waited over 45 minutes for our food, and the waitress never checked up on us while waiting. The restaurant wasn't even crowded while we were there. Two families got their before us and got their meal and finished!!! For the food, I was excited to get their eggs benedict! I didn't enjoy it because it was soaked with Hollandaise sauce making it really rich. My other friends didn't get their toast with the meal. One of them ordered the fish and chips and hated it. It surprised me because this guy literally eats anything and isn't picky at all. He said the meal was bland, and the tartar sauce didn't taste like a traditional tartar sauce.

The grill cheese with bacon I ordered was perfect, plus the service was amazing. I asked for no pickle on the side and they made sure there wasn't.

The food is pretty basic. Nothing exceptional about it. I did do take out however, so not sure if it would've been better right out of the kitchen ‍ Girl on the phone was friendly.

Great food. Great little spot to get a bite, get coffee, or get a drink. Will definitely go here again next time I'm in Havasu.

What a wonderful location. I highly recommend trying to get a spot on the patio... The table service is excellent & the food selections make for a challenging decision. This is a place where you're going to want to return to ensure you have an opportunity to try everything of interest. The food was tasty & the portions plentiful. Don't miss out on The Red Onion, you won't be disappointed. Provecho!!

We were there for lunch and their Tuna melt was delicious as well as the Curly fries. They were perfect...not creasy or mushy Their service was awesome and done by Stacey. She was professional and very friendly. I believe they have three areas (2 inside, one outdoors) where you can sit. The main one completely has the front wall to open which opens towards the sidewalk. I loved it. I will definitely continue to go whenever we're in Havasu.

Great breakfast stop. Parm Bloody Mary is great, omelette was perfect! Definitely recommend to anyone passing through. My husband had the plate with a biscuit and gravy- so good.

Best breakfast and lunch place in town The bartenders are very attended to your needs. Same as a waitresses and bussers best bloody Mary and town food is fabulous. Highly recommend this place

I don't care what you order at the Red Onion it is great, I have been coming here since I moved to Havasu 4 years ago. I can't say enough about the service. There are two servers that stand out who are excellent with giving attention to all the tables, Paula and Peyton. They are friendly and they strike up a conversation you aren't just a customer. I would highly recommend the Red Onion for your to go to Restaurant for breakfast or lunch

Wow! What a hip place for breakfast! It's hip and has great vibes for a breakfast place. This breakfast restaurant has been dishing out good food since 2007! The staff was excellent and they kept the coffee coming! Really enjoyed the two eggs, bacon and pancakes!

Pretty good food. Considering the cheap prices, it's hard to complain. French toast is basic but good, steak and eggs were the star of the show. The Cali Benny is yummmm-- their hollandaise sauce is EXCELLENT. The mimosa deal is awesome- just buy a bottle for 18.00 and it comes with a glass of OJ. Great atmosphere and outdoor seating available for cool mornings.

Best spot for brunch in my opinion in Havasu, maybe it's the Bloody Mary with Parmesan cheese or the delicious food! Regardless great place to cure the hangover full bar and great food! The service is on point. It's always full so expect to wait. Check out the bar in the back for faster seating!

Everything is good every time.. Bloody Mary's fully loaded are delicious... Try to hit for breakfast whenever Im in town.

One of my favorite spots for breakfast or brunch. I usually gravitate towards the energy breakfast. I would also recommend their mimosas or their Bloody Mary's. Sometimes you get lucky and there isn't much of a wait. The customer service is pretty fair. We haven't had a bad experience in the years we have been going there. There is adequate parking on the street or in the adjacent lot. If you're waiting, check out the little shops behind the restaurant! Ps Check the hours as they are not open throughout the day.

2 simple words... bloody mary. This bloody mary was arguably one of the best my wife and I have had the pleasure of partaking in. During our 3 stay in Havasu, we had to come back twice to make sure we savored the goodness haha. A perfect mix of spice, parmesan cheese sprinkles and other secret ingredients. Located in the downtown area, the Red Onion has an awesome relaxed feel. The place is clean, the staff is nice and it has an awesome history of being converted from an old bank. This place is a must try!

Breakfast is always tasty, minosas are STRONG and the servers are really awesome. 6 stars!
