I stayed at this hotel in January during my Udaipur trip, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
I had booked a Heritage Room, but from the moment I checked in, there was a strong foul smell coming from the washroom. The smell was unbearable and spread into the room because the bathroom door lock was broken and wouldn’t close properly.
Despite making multiple complaints, the issue was not resolved. Eventually, I was shifted to a Suite Room, which was comparatively better. However, on the 3rd day, I was again moved back to a Heritage Room, and shockingly, the same washroom smell problem existed there as well.
All the rooms had dampness and moisture, which caused a persistent bad smell throughout the stay. On top of that, there is a club on the terrace, and the loud music continued till midnight, making it very difficult to rest. Soundproofing is extremely poor—you can even hear washroom usage and kettle noises from neighboring rooms.
The only positives were:
Good location and reachability to tourist places
Polite and responsive room service staff
However, considering the price I paid (more than 6k per night)—which was not lower than online listings—the experience was not worth the money at all.
Not recommended.
