What a hidden gem for a bridal shower. We held my daughters brunch bridal shower at the RRH and they did not miss a beat in handling the function. We started the day with a cocktail hour in the back bar. Our signature drink was the Paloma. It was so delicious and refreshing. In fact, I tried a Paloma at a few other restaurants and they did not compare. Our guests loved this drink. We asked for a few special items for the buffet which they accommodated for us. The nice thing is that the guests could mingle outside on the beautiful patio as well. So it offers a very unique layout for the function. We were in good hands through out the whole day with Kristina. Who was fantastic!! Thank you for making this a memorable event.

Google
The hamburgers were very good, but the dumplings we're not very tasty. The service was great and the server recommended really good burgers for us.

Thanks to The Roadhouse for being great partners hosting our show on Sat., May 24th! The outdoor setting is perfect for live music and our Followers raved about the food, drinks and service!!

I recently held a small baby shower at the Redding Roadhouse and it was such a great experience start to finish. The event planner Kristina was very easy to work with and every detail was planned out ahead of time. We were in the general store space and all of my guests commented on how wonderful the ambiance, food and service was. Many said they were looking forward to coming back again for the delicious brunch. I would definitely recommend to friends!

Love the atmosphere, especially the outside seating. The manager is very friendly and accommodating, which I deeply appreciate. The food is solid, especially their burgers! This has been one of my favorite spots for a while and feels like a much-needed escape every time we go.

Google
The only restaurant in Redding other than the pizza place! But I really like going there - the bar has a good vibe, and they are pretty kid-friendly. The dining room is nice, too, for family dinners. I appreciate that they have live music most weekends.

Google
I love this place. Great food, great cocktails, get vibe, in an historical building. Every time I visit my friend in Westport I insist we come here for dinner. You gotta go. And the live music they get is terrific.

Had a great time! The patio is beautiful on a cooler night. The atmosphere is great. Food: - We ordered wings, but I completely forgot to snap a photo. They were DELISH. We got the ranch dry rub and the Gold Rush wings. Would recommend either! So yummy. - Ordered the Asian chicken salad. The chicken was cooked perfectly. So moist and not overdone. The salad had enough dressing for flavor and wasn’t soggy. Fresh. Light. Delicious. - My boyfriend got the Alfredo. Fair warning - it’s got some heat. It’s not spicy per say, but the pepper flavor is vibrant and unforgettable. This is not for the weak stomach and is definitely not the cheesy, light alfredo that would be expected. Still very delicious! Drinks: - I ordered the ship wrecked (pictured). YUM. If you are a rum drinker, definitely recommend. It made me reminisce of a tropical vacation. - My boyfriend got a mango sour from Space Cat Brewery. Redding Roadhouse is always known for having a great variety of beers and sours! The only thing that I could say could be better is the service. The serving staff is definitely young and could benefit from some training. We ordered wings and were not brought plates, napkins, or silverware. We also had to ask for water and in summer water should be essential. We will definitely be back! It’s delicious and such a great place. Definitely a hidden gem. ☺️

Yelp
This is definitely now a staple place this area for me.... Especially if can sit outdoors (indoors is a little too dark for me). Food was surprisingly all fresh & made in house. Quite a wide selection of options while not being an overwhelming menu. And the prices... extremely reasonable... really makes one question the other restaurants who claim they have to increase price and reduce portion size to remain profitable. The only recommendation I have for them... perhaps consider offering a better wine selection. I have no doubt their revenues and profits per table would increase significantly while also delivering a better experience for guests by simply offering some better options. Unless our server just didn't know, she offered us Josh Cabernet when my wife asked for a nice cab. If that's the best cab they have by the glass (which I assume it is), they are definitely missing the (profit) boat. Instead of her drinking 1/2 the glass Josh, she probably would have had 2 glasses and I, 1 glass.

Yelp
My daughter and I tried this restaurant on a chilly Saturday evening. We were enchanted by the atmosphere and delighted by the food and service. The food here is unbelievably delicious. We tried the chipotle wings to start along with the pretzel. The wings were meaty with a slight spice to them. The pretzel was warm and buttery and came with a creamy cheese sauce - more please!!! For dinner, my daughter had the juicy smash burger that satisfied all of her senses. I opted for the farro salad with chicken and could not have been happier. It was the perfect balance of ingredients. Not to mention the inside of this historic restaurant is simply precious with a fireside dinner who could ask for anything better. We will definitely be going back to this gem with our entire family.

Yelp
First time here and I had high hopes from previewing the menu. The place is very cute with indoor and outdoor seating! And all the staff was friendly. I attended a "closed event" in the back bar so we had a fixed menu. It was a Thursday evening before the dinner rush so there weren't many people in the building. Service was very very slow. We got there at 5 and didn't get served an appetizer until 6:15. There wasn't bread offered either. Not sure if this was purposeful as a cocktail hour? But even the cocktails came out very very slowly. I enjoyed the salad and crab cakes as I shared with a friend. But my meat pasta needed way more sauce and flavor. It was dry and pretty tasteless. I also found a long piece of plastic from a bag in it :( I didn't want to bring a lot of attention to that as I was with many people I didn't know but that was really unfortunate. Lastly the dessert came after 7 and at that point I wanted to leave but stayed to try it. It was just okay. Could have used a chocolate drizzle or made the waffle warm with a sugar coating. It was just a bit boring. I also need to add that my friend ordered a sangria and it was $16!!!! And the bartender said she made it on the fly as they didn't have any. How on earth could you justify that price?? Maybe this was just an off night! But I don't feel compelled I go back after that experience.

Yelp
Past by RR many times and always thought I'd drop in some day. Well, yesterday was that day. RR definitely exceeded my expectations. Better decor and atmosphere than anticipated. Fireplace is a great touch. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food is very basic and nothing to write home over. Next time I'll try the wings which looked good and seem to be the house specialty. Should have ordered them! We'll visit again!

Yelp
Finally a spot with good food and SERVICE! It's so hard to go out these days and find service that is even OK. We have been here a few times but it's been a while. We arrived with our two kids (6 year old and 1 year old), the restaurant was very attentive to the kids and even brought over some toys. We ordered the buffalo wings, pretzel (which was AMAZING) and split the burger and chicken sandwich. All were cooked to exactly what we requested including the additional items we asked for on the side. Everything arrived in a timely manner and spread out reasonably between the appetizers and dinner. Our waiter was very attentive ( I wish I got his name, but you were great! Was wearing a nod hill brewing company shirt), Peter was just awesome - another waiter close by that just checked in generally and had fun with the kids. The manager/host (also did not get his name, wore a black and white shirt) was very friendly, welcoming and professional. All staff were great! As noted in other reviews, fantastic cozy ambiance. See you all again very soon!

Monica C.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, super good service, Sierra was an excelent waitress, the food we ordered came quickly, each dish was delicious, kudos to the chef.

Michelle M.

Yelp
A lovely surprise! We've come here a few times already and love the consistency and good vibe. Live music on Friday nights.

Clay C.

Yelp
Have come around on TRR. Service has gotten better and takeout orders are more accurate. Has become a regular local go to. Happy we have the option.

Michael M.

Yelp
By the time I call they're closed! The local banter is that the place is not good. It's too bad given the paucity of places to sit down in Redding. I'm thinking the place could use a shot in the arm with a great chef on staff! It would be great to have an upscale American food place to go to.

Christine R.

Yelp
Not great at all. It was very quiet, yet we waited forever for everything, including drinks. Our waitress couldn't answer simple menu questions and had to keep going to ask other people. The food was just ok, nothing special. My asian salad was very dry, it needed more dressing, but I couldn't get anyone to come back to our table to ask for it, so I ate it dryish. The worst was the rock-hard churros we waited 20 minutes for. Literally too hard to bite into or cut. If you come back to a table and they haven't eaten something you served them, maybe ask if anything was wrong with it? The waitress put no effort or thought into us. I would not eat here again.

Yelp
Close to often for special events, not a true restaurant, either you want to cater or run a restaurant, can't do both and be successful, you will lose what following you have, they used to do small special events upstairs

Yelp
Food price / quality (value) rating 8.5. The atmosphere is "Colonial Roadside Tavern". I've been coming to this location for 45 years, and through a few owners. They have a pub / Continental cuisine menu including appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and some higher end entrees, There are eight draught beers offered and many other cans and bottles. Thursdays is free beer with any sandwich, and 12 wings for the price of six which is $10, Wednesday is wine night any bottle of wine half price. Live acoustical entertainment most Friday nights and sometime Saturday nights. They offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4:00 p.m. which includes a Bloody Mary bar where you make your own bottomless Bloody Marys, and bottomless Mimosas. Our server Nick was very attentive and knowledgeable, and understood what is important in the service industry. They also have two very nice outdoor seating areas, two full bars, a large dining room and a large bar area. They specialize in catering events such as weddings, graduation parties, and other large events. The prices are very reasonable, and the service has always been good here.

Yelp
They're back!! Celebrated Father's Day brunch and what a great surprise. Ordered eggs Benedict and avocado toast. Meal was spot on and service was prompt. So glad to see that management made the needed course correction and vastly improved from last couple of years. We will be returning! Next step is to get the bands playing again on Friday & Saturday nights until midnight. Keep the improvements coming. Such a great location and cozy atmosphere.

Yelp
Iv'e been going here for 15 years. God knows I wanted it to succeed. Went there tonight with my wife and son- a miracle. Well the evening went down hill from there. Preppie wait staff FORGOT to put my order in- no food 30 mins after my wife and sons food arrived- don't bother , waste of time. Didn't even comp us ANYTHING- you lost my business for ever.

Robert S.

Yelp
This place has gotten so much better! Great food, great service, great ambiance. Family favorites are the soft pretzel & the yardbird!

Cate I.

Yelp
Such a beautiful, cozy, perfect new england restaurant with great decor and a wonderful vibe. I really, really want to love it, but I've eaten here 4 times now and struggled with the food every time. I've ordered everything from the burger to the chicken sandwich to the shrimp alfredo to the poke tacos and I've never been able to finish my meal. Some of their dishes (the shrimp Alfredo for example) was so randomly spicy that I could not finish it. I also ordered their sangria once and it tasted like cough syrup. I did have a tequila mixed drink that was very good and their beer selection is always great though. I really, really wish their food was much better as this place has a lot of potential.

Christopher R.

Yelp
We've been there about a dozen times over the past year and have consistently enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. The building itself must be originally 1700 or 1800's. They have a fantastic patio with a fireplace and lots of tables. The beer selection is well thought out and varied. The barroom itself is cozy with nice touches, like a fireplace and an epic colonial-style painting. Kid friendly too, with an additional dining room, also the a fireplace. Burgers are solid, and specials too don't disappoint. The regulars here are a friendly bunch, including the staff-mainstays we've been served by. Keep it up, RR!

M D.

Yelp
Had another great meal here last weekend with the family. Pork chop was delicious and the gochujang wings may have been the best wings I've ever had.

Richard B.

Yelp
Food, service, neighborhood pub is amazing, but the Staff is what truly make this place the best!!

Maria L.

Yelp
Great local spot! They have an outdoor patio 2 bars and a more formal dining room. Also a pool table upstairs. They host, fun food events, and have some of the best wings in the area.

Steven M.

Yelp
Arrived on Sunday after they opened at noon. Sat down in the bar area and were completely ignored for 30 minutes while other tables orders were taken and food brought out to tables. Eventually walked out due to terrible service. Been here several times and never an issue before this. Completely disappointed and will not be back anytime soon.

Victoria S.

Yelp
We gave this place a few chances ordering takeout, and every single time we go to pickup our order it's NEVER ready at the time they give us and this last time we were waiting 25 min! We placed a pick up order at 3:50 PM to be ready at 4:20 PM on very chilly January evening. I called the place at 4:28 when I arrived, thinking it was definitely ready and the guy on the phone said let me check on the order. It's now 4:45 PM and I'm still waiting so I called again and the same guy said he's gonna check on the order. A few minutes later he brings my order out as if it was normal without any apologies. I feel I have to mention that we ordered online and gave a nice tip, but I definitely learned my lesson this time - we will not be back again.

John M.

Yelp
Over the years this spot has ranged between 2-4 stars for me. It will always be 5 Stars for location and setting and ambiance. I'd almost expect to meet Mark Twain there under the operating model train It is never less than 4 stars when music and crowd and fun are considered. I think the food and management has been uneven over the years and except for certain time periods the place never quite seemed to reach its full potential although late 90s and early 2000s the place rocked. My current rating reflects the same blend although I don't think they focus on the music and draw the consistent crowds they once did but they still have their moments and it can be great fun. I root for them hard and management appears responsive and committed. I have had some tasty things in the Tavern area and typically don't go beyond one f their hot sandwiches. Pick a good night with music you like and you'll have a ball - better yet when the weather is nice and there are performances outside! They rate between 3 and 4 for me but a given visit can range outside the range on either extreme depending on what your priority and experience is on a given night

Michael C.

Yelp
Great food, atmosphere and service. Even an Etch-a-sketch to distract you from your phone! Great burgers, great salads.

Doug C.

Yelp
Excellent experience. Afternoon family outing included our 5mo grandaughter. Truly memorable food and service. We felt like we were at home. Asian salad, French onion soup, spectacular pot stickers, seared tuna with asparagus, perfect shrimp appetizer. Delicious whisky sour. Servers Doug and Peter added to the total welcoming experience. Thank you Roadhouse for being a part of the Redding community for so many years !

Diane K.

Yelp
It's ok. Not great. Good in a pinch. Reasonably priced. Decent food. Definitely dated.

Alice M.

Yelp
After a busy day we decided to go to the Roadhouse for dinner. We sat down and ordered our meals and drinks. A burger for my son and caprese salad for me. I wasn't able to get a glass of wine- only a half bottle. We waited for a few minutes, but the noise level was intolerable so we asked for our meals to go and fled. When we opened our meals the burger was fine but the caprese salad was a joke. Fried green tomatoes were on the menu, but they're not what you use for caprese salad. They were not green heirloom tomatoes- just hard as rock unripe tomatoes. Quite a let down at the height of delicious tomato season!

Dean A.

Yelp
We hosted a very special family event for approximately 50 people here with both locals and out-of-towners. Kerem and the staff were so accommodating, and our expectations were blown away. In spite of COVID, everyone was satisfied with the outdoor venue seating, as well as the buffet-style dinner and open bar. We loved the halibut and beef entrees as well as the sides served up in with a Mediterranean flair but prepared in cast-iron lodge ware. The wine list is great but I think the Sangria was a huge hit. We will be back the next time we are in town. Could tell the locals love the live music and bbq out back. Great vibe for anything from formal to casual as you can see by these pictures below (our event was a hybrid Wedding Rehearsal Dinner as well as a full-dress military commissioning ceremony). Bon Appetite!

Yelp
2nd tour at this cool place for a Sunday lunch. Service was very nice and both the Lobster bisque and the Briskets are worth the trip. Special mention to our server who acted very professionally and was so courteous when listening to my complaint about a minor incident over lunch. Kudos to people that are working hard in the restaurant business and still find the time to welcome constructive criticism and act accordingly.

Lin C.

Yelp
Love coming here. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. I would recommend sitting on the outdoor patio and listening to live music or eating here for Sunday brunch. It's hard to pick a favorite food but I would definitely try their wings, pretzel, steak or desserts.

John T.

Yelp
This is probably a great place for a burger and a beer. I had the shrimp pasta dinner and it was tasty. The menu was extraordinarily limited. You can only buy wine by the half or full bottle. I ordered a Manhattan and the glass was half full. My wife's chicken wings looked like the parts one would throwaway when making them, very small. We used to come here all the time, the deck is a great place to hang out. when it reopened we were excited. All in all, this place is disappointing.

Adrian R.

Yelp
Great salad and entree, went with my eldest son and was a great experience. Staff attentive and nice attitude Look forward to going again with my wife

Danny M.

Yelp
Stopped in to get a quick bite, and was better than I expected. Good overall steak, nicely seasoned with a good crust although a tad underdone. Great fries, and the side salad was okay. The chimichurri was excellent. Service was okay, atmosphere was good. Solid restaurant here in Fairfield County.

Allison C.

Yelp
Yesterday we had the pleasure of checking out The Redding Roadhouse, and we're so happy that we made the trip. Owners Erin and Shawn were so welcoming, and their dedication to the restaurant was clear through their amazing food and beautiful space. They also recently opened a general store in the back of the restaurant full of unique gift ideas, as well as a candy counter! The Thai PB&J wings were delicious, and I really enjoyed my Yard Bird sandwich. I would love to come back in the summer and sit outside in their gorgeous patio area!

Elise A.

Yelp
Great ambiance and friendly staff. Tuna poke nachos were delicious and unique. Must try the smash burger, delicious fries. The lava cake Id also recommend as well as the seasonal ramen.

Chris W.

Yelp
Oh Redding Roadhouse.. ever since I moved to the area I kept hearing people talk about this place and how they used to go there all the time. As it's fairly close to where I live I really wanted it to be a gem of a spot with great food and a fun atmosphere. The atmosphere is a fun one and the back patio is a nice spot to hang out but the food is a constant miss. I've tried quite a few of the dishes and have always been disappointed. Out of the 6 times I've been 4 of them were unenjoyable and had us saying we wouldn't be back. The other two times we had wings and beer and were quite happy so I think that's the secret for this place. If you want wings and beer this is a good spot but if you are going for dinner perhaps think twice. Also, not offering wine by the glass is super limiting and forces people to either buy more wine then they want or go without. Unfortunately the wine they offer (so I've been told by my guests) is not very good and being forced to buy more than just a glass is off-putting. Not sure what changed here since the days people talk off when it was such a great spot but perhaps they'll figure it out and get back to what drew people there originally.

Bettina P.

Yelp
The food was so wonderful - especially Asian chicken salad, sweet potato fries and the Yard Bird sandwich. Our server Peter was so kind and sweet with the children - making sure their order was correct and even bringing them to the candy "general store" in the back for gummy bears. After a long drive we were all smiling wide! The music was fun and the model train rotating around the ceiling was thrilling for our 6 year old. We will absolutely be back :-) Thank you!

Krystin W.

Yelp
Service was non existent, even though not many people were in the restaurant. We never got waters or even a drink we ordered. The food was inedible, we were actually scared we may get sick from what we tried. I know they've switched owners. Used to be so good back in the day. The restaurant also need a good cleaning, dust coming out of vents . Not a good look.

Emily D.

Yelp
I've driven by this location for four years, upon hearing news of RR re-opening, I knew I had to stop by. They have still just recently opened and are still working menu items and drink out (as said by what seemed to be the manager at the bar). First off, the parking lot, ladies, this is not a place to wear heels. The lot is unpaved and muddy (on some days), please be careful. Upon entering, I liked the decor. The bar is large and welcoming and I liked the overall look of the entire dining room. I sat down at the bar, and after hearing they had a happy hour food special ($2 off apps), I decided to try some food. I ordered the nachos, which were o.k., nothing special. The cheese could have been melted more, I didn't love the multi-colored chips and the guac (extra charge) was sour and didn't go well with any other ingredients. My drink, the Great Northern, was tasty, but a little expensive with an $11 price tag. I liked the touch of the train circling around the dining room, but maybe it was just the day, but the entire place had a slightly musty smell that never went away. There is more than enough staff available and they were all quite friendly. You could tell they are still learning their roles, as they reviewed all food and drinks that were sent out. Overall, I think once the new kinks have been worked out, I would stop in again.

Diana J.

Yelp
Fun for the whole family! My family really loves going to the roadhouse because of the welcoming atmosphere and the food. The kids love both the sliders and the chicken fingers as well as the yummy desserts! I recommend a visit for all families looking for a great/easy meal where they can enjoy music and delicious drinks as well.

Sergio P.

Yelp
We have come here many times over the years as it has seen a few different owners. I really like what they have done with this version. It seems cleaner and bit more refined. They added a built in very large table that looks like you can fit 10 people at. They also have a few other large tables. The menu has many things to choose The cheesesteak egg rolls were really good. They were a hit with the kids as well. The burgers were varied. The turkey burger looked good but my daughter got the hunter which is a bison burger with sautéed onions, lettuce, tomatoes and chipotle mayo. It was so juicy and she loved it. Warning it was a little messy. The fries were excellent -crispy on the outside with the skin still on and perfectly salted. I had one of my "normal" dishes. The chicken Milanese was very well done. The chicken was thinly pounded breaded and crispy. The arugula salad was great with a light dressing, carrots and pickled onions. Everything was so good we HAD to check out the desserts. HOLD ON! They have milk shakes on the dessert menu. Perhaps they should advertise those on the earlier menu. (This is a summer item only) A stack of chocolate chip cookies and a strawberry mild shake sounds like a plan. The stack of cookies was impressive. They are full size and fresh. This has now made it back on the list as a family favorite spot. Everyone order milkshakes so they have to keep them in the menu year round.

Rajeev L.

Yelp
Good to see this place open up again. I think it is on it's 3rd iteration in 10 years. Great location in Redding and nice atmosphere. The food is good as well.

Noel B.

Yelp
I would like to say that this place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Everything from the grounds, to the details inside. I was so impressed by everything that I forgot to take pictures. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the food. I had a quick snack before my flight but the flavors and textures were in perfect harmony. The cheese steak egg rolls -5***** It was an interesting concept, executed flawlessly The bison burger-5***** Cooked to perfection and that's saying a lot I enjoyed the milk shake but I asked for no whip cream and the server forgot, but I don't like to send food back so I drank the shake. Midway through the meal the server was extremely genuine and apologetic about forgetting the no whip, that the server offered to make another but it was unnecessary. The gesture and genuine attitude was enough to keep the 5 stars in the review. Service-5***** Food quality-5***** Ambience-5***** I came for the food, and it surpassed all expectations. If you have time, I highly suggest you make an attempt to eat here. But don't take my word for it.. Try it out!

Phil S.

Yelp
Really want to like this place. It's local and has great potential as far as good staff and ambience. Repeated visits only reinforces the mediocre and poorly thought menu. My initial visit burger was very good, the following burger on a future visit was nowhere as good. The fish & chips was extremely subpar, specially for a New England bar. Its basically couple pieces of Trader Joes frozen fish, and I'm not kidding, looks exactly like it. Place has good ambiance if in area which I am but I no longer go there for a meal. At most I order a couple apps.

Monty B.

Yelp
Stopped at the roadhouse for something different. Sat by the wonderful fire for a couple of house cocktails. The wings were very good, crispy and flavorful. The Cobb salad was excellent. The service was also terrific. They told us they are closing Monday and Tuesday nights due to the drop in business as corona fears take hold. Carry disinfectant wipes, wipe down table top and chair rails. Use paper towels to open doors and sink faucets but still get out and support our wonderful local businesses like the roadhouse.

Stacey F.

Yelp
Terrible experience tonight. 3 of us went for dinner ordered 3 different things and none were even acceptable, and we're not difficult or picky people. It was the octoberfest menu. One Cobb salad, the chicken was cold and not fresh, Weinerschnitzel, veal was slimy and tough, the red cabbage had way too much vinegar. Steak frites, ordered medium rare, it came out medium rare, but it was cold. So cold that the room temp glob of butter on top of it didn't melt - at all. Salad Olives were sweet, like candy sweet. Our waitress was really nice about everything, so no complaints about the service. The food took about 35 minutes to come out, but that's the kitchen's fault. Prob a fun place for cocktails but there are better places till eat. Rating 2 stars bc of the service and I don't think any of us will get sick...

Sarah O.

Yelp
One of our fave spots in Redding. Warm, cozy, welcoming atmosphere at any time of year -- fireplaces going in the winter, gorgeous patio open in the summer -- and with a really excellent menu from the no-longer-that-new management. While we didn't eat at every iteration of the Roadhouse through the years, we have eaten under 3 owners now, and this is definitely the most modern, compelling, interesting and just straight-up tasty menu we have seen yet. It's so nice to see a restaurant going beyond the boring New England pub fare that's so common in this part of CT, and doing it well, while still having those comfort food offerings, too! Strong recommends for the short rib sliders, the French onion soup, the chowder, the burgers, the Yard Bird chicken sandwich, and all of the more formal entrees we have tried have been hits with us and our guests. In fact, just this weekend we brought our favorite very discriminating out-of-town carnivore to the Roadhouse and he was thrilled with his beef ribs and sides! Meanwhile his vegetarian wife couldn't stop raving about the sweet potato soup and her pumpkin ravioli! We love the brunch menu, and the Oktoberfest special additions were very welcome - my husband often travels to Germany for work and found the Roadhouse's spaetzel to be even better than what he's had there! Good for kids - my picky eaters like the good food AND the fun old fashioned games to play with while they're waiting. Hurrah, a place they have no interest in screens! Love the beer options there, they're always having great drink specials and bringing in independent and local labels. And maybe best of all, the Roadhouse team is deeply committed to this town! It's so cool to see small business owners invested in the small farms and musicians and makers and community organizations around them! Small town living at its best!

Yelp
First time here last Saturday. Table of 6 total. Nachos were a good appetizer. There was one wine drinker and the waiter kept getting it wrong. Food took almost an hour to come out. Mine and my sons burger that we ordered med rare both were practically raw. My son are just the edges of his. My sister had the fish tacos and they were okay Our waiter had zero personality and the wait for food was too long. Will give it another try and hope it's better.

Yelp
We came here years ago and had awesome meals. Lately the food hasn't been to our liking. The cheesesteak egg rolls were awfully oily. The wings have the soft mushy skin. The shrimp and grits were subpar for us as they were "spiced up" somehow rather than letting grits bWe love the ambiance and the service is good. We would definitely come again for drinks but why frequent a restaurant if you don't like the food? We'll probably try again after some time has gone by to see if the food has improved. UPDATE ... Came back for a happy hour. The service is still great. We made a point to ask for the wings to be a little crispier. They accommodated and they were very good. We're holding out hope that the food keeps getting better because we love the ambiance.
