The Reef Beach Cafe

Really enjoyed our meals and drinks here! Server was incredibly kind and gave us some good suggestions. We had dishes with octopus and dorado, both AMAZING! Atmosphere is very relaxed with a view of the ocean. Right on the sand. We ate our meal, went for a walk on the beach and returned again for more drinks. There’s a group of friendly local dogs that bop around the area. Great time overall!

Had lunch at The Reef and I was seriously impressed. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and everything was so flavorful. The burger was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the fries were crispy with the right amount of seasoning. The service was also amazing. Everyone was friendly, the food came out quickly, and the staff made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be back! 🥰

The local drink golden apple juice is a must try! Loved the view on the beach. The local fresh bread is warm and melt in your mouth! We had eggs , bacon, ham & cheese. Loved it!

We stopped here for a bite before our flight. Easy to access with our rental car. The views were wonderful with nice breeze. We sat under the shade of a tree. Our server was polite. The cost was reasonable. The food was good…mussels with garlic bread and coconut shrimp with side salad and a coconut sunset cocktail all for $34 usd. The song “what’s love got to do with it” was on a loop the entire time we were there 😅

We staid for 6 nights at The Reef. * Room review: simple, as described on the website, yet clean and comfortable. It has AC and an electric kettle which was perfect for us, tea drinkers. * Restaurant review: food was perfect all 5 lunches we had there, consistent in freshness and yumminess. The staff is super nice, really welcoming and very personable. * Kite spot review: super easy/very beginner friendly spot, really predictable winds. The beach is perfect and roomy for launching and landing. Very few people the spot, you pretty much have the entire bay for yourself. Water is relatively flat, mildly choppy. Great for beginners or intermediate. Jolien, the owner, checked on us everyday and made sure all was well. If you are staying at The Reef, be aware that the hotel restaurant is closed at night. There are several other diner option by The Reef. Also, there is a Security Guard after hours for extra safety. It is a safe place though. Overall, we had a lovely stay @ The Reef.

Great spot full of island vibes to grab food at the beginning / end of your trip if you're flying via Vieux Fort. We had their fried fish appetizer and their fish platter. Both were delicious and the lady serving us was very friendly.

Wonderful service and delicious, homemade food. You can taste the love and care in every bite. What a treat!

The restaurant has a great atmosphere; everything is clean and there are lots of cute dogs. The food was delicious and the prices were among the lowest on the island. We returned almost every day during our stay. The restaurant service was also 5-star.
