We staid for 6 nights at The Reef.
* Room review: simple, as described on the website, yet clean and comfortable. It has AC and an electric kettle which was perfect for us, tea drinkers.
* Restaurant review: food was perfect all 5 lunches we had there, consistent in freshness and yumminess. The staff is super nice, really welcoming and very personable.
* Kite spot review: super easy/very beginner friendly spot, really predictable winds. The beach is perfect and roomy for launching and landing. Very few people the spot, you pretty much have the entire bay for yourself. Water is relatively flat, mildly choppy. Great for beginners or intermediate.
Jolien, the owner, checked on us everyday and made sure all was well.
If you are staying at The Reef, be aware that the hotel restaurant is closed at night. There are several other diner option by The Reef. Also, there is a Security Guard after hours for extra safety. It is a safe place though.
Overall, we had a lovely stay @ The Reef.
