Super cute and fun place and HUGE! Lots of great finds and a fun place to spend a rainy afternoon. I should have taken more pics - because it really is a sight to behold - but I just forgot. I found this cool quirky birdhouse though, so here goes. Worth a visit for sure!

This place is super eclectic and so fun to browse through, there are tons of rooms with different styles and unique goods. The owner was very sweet and personable. Plenty of parking in the lot next door if you struggle finding a spot in their lot

Nice place. Lots of things to look at and very clean. Only suggestion- vendors shouldn't put stuff up on ladders so high that customers can't look at it. Most don't have time to ask someone to get a ladder etc. It feels like you really have no intention on selling. Think more about the customer, not how it looks. You lost a sale. See pics.

Great antique/ salvage store. It has a huge variety from antique furniture, glassware, clothing and vinyl to salvaged doors, knobs, garden items and tubs. It also has booths filled with items from handmade creators. We are planning a trip back with a small uhaul 😄

We were in Chattanooga for one day, and came across this shop by accident. With five kids in tow, it looks like it should have been a disaster in the making, but every kid found something cool to bring home, and most found multiple things! As you can see from the pictures, you never know what you’ll find around the next corner! It’s huge, with tons of different areas, each with their own themes and eras. A must-visit if you’re in town!

Awesome place! Lots of antique and vintage items. Fair prices and creative displays. Huge building! I spent a good amount of time here and enjoyed every minute of it! Will definitely be back!

Visiting from out of town, this place was highly recommended from the locals I know. Upon entering, I was blown away at the quality and selection of products. Prepare to spend at least an hour in this lovely place. I could have easily stayed another hour had it not been closing time. The handmade selection was impressive. A lot of items were very expensive but if you hunt you can find some incredible deals. I absolutely adored this place. It's much bigger than I anticipated as well.

Wow! You walk into the front/side and then amazed by how large it absolutely was. Spent over an hour. I found what I was looking for, but it was more than I wanted to pay. Something for everyone!

This is a nice shop, very friendly and the prices are not high like in Franklin. We will definitely be back soon!

Who needs black Friday or cyber Monday? Go thriftin' or hot up that local antique shop. This way you can buy some actual authentically unique and amazing stuff. Which is exactly what you all get your hands on at Refindery antique store. I love a good antique or weird oddities place and Refindery is a mix of both. They have vintage maps, giant taxidermies animal heads, antique metal signs, and a mountain out of reclaimed wood that would make Chip and Joanna shart themselves. I'm currently in the market for a Victorian framed picture to hang in the entry of my house, sadly I didn't find it here, but they do have a ton of old framed photos. There were two things I wanted to buy immediately, but my wife gave me a hard no on bowls. The first one was a replica of the head Falkor from never ending story, see my photos. The other was a giant taxidermy made bison head, which I would've definitely hung in our room. This is a solid gifting place for the person who has everything or the person who thinks they've seen everything. Shop local this holiday season!

Wide variety of booths and items. Some great finds if you really look. Prices are okay. Service was nice too.

Extremely fun salvage and eclectic antique store! Interesting and unique items, the perfect place to find items to make your home unique. Taxidermy, signs, glassware, corbels, doors and many other fun finds.

I was super excited when I walked in the door because there is so much stuff and a great mix of old and new. My first interaction with staff was a little cool. Please be careful in the store though! There are (one) steps throughout, so you have to look down a lot. I was walking through a section and stepped down, not seeing the step, and my arms came out to catch my balance and as I did, I accidentally knocked over a glass and it broke. Fortunately it wasn't antique. Someone came over and asked if I was okay. I apologized profusely, explained what happened, and offered to pay for the item. I finished my browsing and went up front to pay for the items I picked out and they did, in fact charge me for the broken glass. $15.00 - so not even the cost of the glass, but the retail value. I was disappointed they charged me at all. It certainly isn't a way to maintain customers. I'LL never be back.

This review is for an experience I had this weekend. I mentioned to the store employee that I was driving through Chattanooga from Atlanta and did not live in the area. I purchased a wonderful painting and small bookcase with sliding glass door. The store employee insisted that I pay first before we loaded the furniture--totally understandable. I pay with credit card and then we try loading the small bookcase into my backseat. The bookcase is just slightly too large and will not fit. When I ask if it is possible to receive a refund for the $100 bookcase, I'm told the credit card charge has gone directly to the vendor, and the store will get in touch with the vendor tomorrow. With no word by 2pm the next day, I call for an update and am connected with the owner. The owner, Carole, says she can't do a refund but can be "a little lenient" about when I come back (from Atlanta!) to pick up the item. "But I can't keep it for you forever!"....implying at some point I just forfeit the item AND the $100 I paid them and the store just resells it to someone else?! I explain that in order to rent a U-Haul I'd have to pay a one-way move rate, which starts at $240, plus mileage (100 miles), so it would cost somewhere between $300-$400 to pick up a $100 item. Carole's response to this is "Well, I know you'll be back." I restate that I live in Atlanta, 100 miles away. I ask if there is any chance I can get in touch with the vendor to explain the issue. Carole tells me the vendor is definitely not available today, that she would tryyyy to get in touch with the vendor in the next few days, but there's a chance the vendor may not speak to me at all. I should mention in regards to this last statement that when I had a question about this same bookcase BEFORE purchasing it, a store employee texted the vendor who responded immediately. Currently, Refindery possesses both what I paid them ($100 + sales tax) AND the item I paid them for. It would be nice if the store owner could just offer to Venmo me $100 for the item or give me store credit and I will just eat the sales tax. What disappoints me the most is the owner's attitude towards the situation. I understand the store doesn't usually do refunds, but I didn't know that before the purchase, nobody mentioned it, and instead of being sympathetic towards the situation, Carole has decided to turn an easy solution into something much more complicated, and unfortunately I get the impression she just doesn't care now that she has my money. It's a unique situation with me living out of town and sometimes you make exceptions to the rule, especially for customers who purchased other items from your store. This review will be staying here until the issue is resolved.

I love shopping at the Refindery! No matter who you are, they have something for you. I like how the store has a variety of aesthetics: Farmhouse, primitive, MCM, Victorian, and more! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about products. For an antique store in the downtown area, their prices are awesome. A must see when visiting Chattanooga and a great place to frequent as a local. They always have new finds!

Very cool antique store, however some of the younger girls working there were not very friendly.

The Refindery is truly like the store version of Mary Poppins bag! You know the bag she keeps pulling things from and you're like wait, that can't fit in there! The store just keeps going and you turn the corner and there's even more to see! The store goes on and on and is FULL of magical things and things that could totally be magic!! It is set up with many different vendors and makers. You can find pretty much everything from clothes, and jewelry, to doors and window panels. Vintage dolls, creepy photos on magnets, chachkies, trinkets and knickknacks! I love the way things are displayed and many displays have given inspiration in how I can move things around in my own home! Because there are many vendors/ suppliers a drop in to the store is never a waste of time! It's also a case of the more you look, the more you find! And yes, items change for the holidays! The staff are really cool and on some days they have the BEST doggie greeter!! I love this place and highly recommend a visit or 5! I also enjoy taking friends who come to town there too or just swinging by when in the hood.

I found a wonderful handmade quilt that matches one my mother made years ago. It made me pretty happy!

This is a very unique place. It's like walking into an episode of American Pickers. They have everything in here. A very large place with several rooms of stuff from different sellers. Just look through my pictures they tell the story here. We were looking for some older shelving, tables and stuff for a room and amazed at the items here. Old Coke signs, old bikes, trikes, tools and other antiques all over this place. Some replicas made by locals are sold here to.

Huge selection. Found some cool rocks and tiny spoons for Christmas gifts. Will definitely be returning.

Decent selection, but the employees are willing to mislead about store policy and are generally unhelpful. And the owner is outrageously rude and unaccommodating. I won't be back.

If you love vintage finds, and even if you're not into antiques you will love this place. We live down the street and just discovered it around the holidays and definitely grabbed a few amazing pieces for our farmhouse home. Check them out!~

I love visiting this place! It's fun looking though the various booths to check out the new and different items on consistent rotation. Vintage, antique, shabby chic, & salvaged pieces abound to help decorate your home (inside and out!) and create a unique look. There's a little something for everyone with items ranging from textiles to vinyl records to glassware to books to old doors & windows to furniture to toys and everything in between. Give yourself plenty of time to browse through this place and find something you didn't know you needed. :)

The blonde girl that was working here on Tuesday morning was very rude and snooty. My mother and aunt came with the intentions of buying an $800 piece of furniture. Due to the condition of the piece we asked what the best price was. Without even letting her make an offer this girl was a real rude and unfriendly person. This place has some really neat stuff but avoid this blonde girl at all cost! Her friend was rude when called on their rudeness as well. This place needs to get some nice people employed instead of these snooty rude girls.

Something for everyone here. Good bargains can be found if you dig. I always buy something here. From goats milk lotion to vinyl records to vintage Halloween decor and more.

Love, love, love. Vinyl out the wazoo, unique art and architectural pieces, old postcards from every state, lots to see! The only thing I would change is to offer some seating for the shoppers who can't hang with their partners and the elderly. Must see!!

Great place to find home decor, kitz, and even vintage clothing. Some fur coats too! There is a 40% table for the items on booth J! (seen 11/18/18). I do not own a home and thus did not really buy anything amazing. There was some wall art I liked but I had spent all my fun money Saturday!

Cool stuff. But my husband came through on a trip home from Missouri to Atlanta and paid $100 for an item that was slightly too big to fit in his vehicle. They wouldn't let him try to load it before purchasing, which is fair. What isn't fair is how they handled this development. They have refused to refund my husband even though he obviously had to then drive home to Atlanta without the item. This is a 100-mile drive. The store owner basically told him he would have to come back from Atlanta to pick it up. I could hear the employee and then the store owner on the other end of the call while my husband patiently and respectfully reexplained his situation and asked if they would consider a refund, and they were rude and dismissive. A business that lives and dies by store policy without even thinking about giving special consideration to extenuating circumstances like this does itself no favors.

A true treasure box! Something for everyone. Some booths can be a little pricey but like I said...something for everyone. A must see in Chattanooga with lots of historical pieces with local history to tell!

Super neat consignment/antique shop. This is in my neighborhood of Highland Park and I finally got to go check it out. So much stuff!!! I wish I could make my old junkie stuff look half as good as these folks make "vintage" stuff look. I'll be honest here; frankly, I hate to shop. I've never been a big fan of meandering around a shop and looking at this and that. I want to go in, and find exactly what I want and get out. I just don't have the patience to stop and look at everything. I think I might be a tad ADHD. LOL. I'm sure I miss out on a lot of stuff this way, but I've just always hated shopping. Anyway, I went here with a friend who wanted to get something for her husband. I stopped in the front part of the store and of course there were lots of Christmas pieces to be had. My eye caught on a little painted picture of a chicken. Yup, a chicken. A chicken with a santa hat on. Yup, a santa hat. ha ha! Well my mom is a huge chicken freak. She has pictures of chickens, figurines of chickens, metal chickens, etc. But what she doesn't have is a Christmas chicken with a santa hat on. So I snatched it up. And - bonus - it was 20% off. They have lots of Chattanooga-themed items and old furniture, appliances, dishware, etc, as well as new crafty stuff. The place is filled to the brim. Or at least from what I say as I took a quick loop around. Definitely check them out.

Nice store though prices are high. If you need help don't bother asking. Owner takes her time and will literally walk away from you in the middle of asking questions. Horrible service.

Fun place. Price usually high, but that doesn't matter if you're just wanting a unique shopping experience. Always interesting at the very least.

I cannot say enough about how much I loved this store. There is something here for everyone and all budgets. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, and the place is quite big. The store is organized well, and prices are well marked. This will definitely become a Chattanooga staple for me.

If I could leave 100000 stars I would. My friend lives in Chattanooga and I called from Nashville hoping I could find a specific item for her birthday. They took time on a busy weekend to search the store and find my item!!! I was able to give her the best bday surprise! It's not every day you meet such kind people. I'm very grateful to the refindery.

A lot of everything here, and that's a good thing! Lots of architectural salvage, antique signs, clothing, furniture, kitchenware, are more. Even some kitsch, but not a lot. We were from out of town and didn't want to lug items around with us. However when we're back in Chattanooga, we're going to make some room to bring something home!

Glad we stopped by while traveling through TN. If your looking for drawer pulls, knobs, old windows/doors this is the place to stop Other side of store was antiques/collectibles. Fun tim looking

We've driven by this place many times and always said we'd stop in some day. After seeing a sideboard on their Facebook page, we went today and are so glad we did! The place is packed with all kinds of antiques from large armoires to comic books. Plan to spend a long time looking through everything, and even then you'll probably miss something, so look again as you're exiting.

Enjoyed browsing the variety of options and offerings. A mix of antiques, repurposed, and unique items.

We loved this place! It's significantly larger than you would think, and there's an eclectic collection of items, so there's something for everyone! Highly recommend -- and plan to stay for a while because there's lots to see!

Loved walking through here on a Sunday Funday. Place was never-ending and had something for everyone. Really enjoyed looking at all the antique stuff that was there.

Love this place! It has soooo many fun things to look at--everything from vintage dresses to furniture to art! There is a nice combination of old and new. They folks that work there are always super nice too! Check it out, you won't regret it!

Very cool antique shop with a great selection that encompasses funky to mid-mod to traditional. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are very fair. One thing I like about this shop is that there is not a lot of reproductions masquerading as antiques. The few that they have are good quality and look great with the other offered items.

This place is pure awesomeness! So many choices of vintage, upcycled, recycled, and reclaimed. If you're in the market for doors, draw pulls, door knows, kitchenware, furniture and home decor, this is the place to go. Buy local!

First time visitor and didn't feel welcoming. Some interesting items but many over priced, IMO.
