We are local customers and since it was our first time here the staff spent quite a lot of time explaining each dish and suggesting options that suited our taste and preferences. Special thanks to the staff member who adjusted a few dishes, which made my year end 2025 dinner truly wonderful. The portions here are quite generous, so o think everyone should be mindful of the number of dishes they order. The atmosphere is extremely comfortable for conversation, and the restaurant’s space is absolutely beautiful. This is truly one of the best place ive ever visited in Saigon!!

We had a lovely weekend brunch at the Refinery. The brunch menu includes a juice, bread basket with condiments, a main course, dessert and coffee for 450K. Good value, and there is also a complementary chocolate fountain. You can order from the all day menu instead if you prefer. We chose the eggs Benedict on the brunch menu, while others in the group ordered dishes from the all day menu. As for the food, everyone was happy. The eggs Benedict were delicious, served with well made hollandaise, roasted tomatoes and garlicky sautéed spinach (a little bit too garlicky, maybe). The ham portion was on the small side but overall the dish was very good. The breads, condiments, coffee and dessert were all solid as well. Worth a repeat? Yes - I'd be happy to have brunch there again if I were in the area.

We went here after a recommendation from a family member who stated they had the best steak at the refinery. We treated ourselves on our last night and WOW. The service was great and the steak was tender. Perfectly prepared and flavorful. I’m picky about my beef as my father raises beef and this was fantastic. I’m guessing some of the lesser reviews were during peak holiday time. We went just as the Christmas/new years crowds were dissipating. Wish we could go back and partake in afternoon snacks and happy hours. Cute building and area.

Set inside the old courtyard building, away from the busy streets. Option to sit indoors or in the patio. I regretted not opting to sit outdoors given the nice weather today. Unfortunately their set lunch menu was not available today. However the pasta, salad and soup we ordered were very generous in portion and tasty.

New favourite French restaurant in Saigon!!! After reading so many rave reviews about this restaurant, gave it a go tonight. Despite being New Year’s Eve, we didn’t need to wait for a table. Staff were excellent, had good interactions with other guests and food delivered to table promptly. The quality of my Boneless Chicken and mushroom sauce was absolutely outstanding! Honestly cooked to perfection including the vegetables and mash potato. As a NY treat, ordered some profiteroles and OMG… exceptional! Can’t wait to revisit and highly recommend you do so too! Vietnam has so many excellent French restaurants, but this one is right at the top. Many thanks staff there - awesome job!

Went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday. The place is very cozy inside a square through a small alley. It is actually very accessible as it is just opposite to the Park Hyatt Hotel. Service is lovely (but....) and the food is good quality and delicious. I had a 3-course lunch (asparagus soup, sea bass and a dessert and a glass of wine) which only cost US$10. Everything was supposed to be perfect. The only issue I experienced was that I ordered a glass of white wine from the menu which I was then told is from thr Al la Carte menu (I misunderstood it was part of the set lunch) and I have to pay the FULL PRICE of US$8. Not too expensive but I don't understand if they charged the full price for that white wine, why they didn't serve me the glass which is supposed to be included in the set lunch. Anyway, I cannot blame them as I didn't ask in detail (assume it is just normal practice that I just pay a bit more if I order a better wine). Stupid me... Anyway, I will go back again but just don't order anything but set lunch.

We had dinner at The Refinery Bistro, a French restaurant tucked inside a charming courtyard in District 1 — and wow, the whole night felt like a mini escape to Paris. Here’s what we ordered 👇 🥩 Traditional Steak Frites 300g Prime Steak – Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, served with crispy fries and a rich pepper sauce. 🍆 Aubergine, Spinach & Lentil Roulade Gratinée – A hearty, earthy vegetarian option with creamy textures and deep flavors. 🌿 Asparagus, Mint & Lemon Risotto – Fresh, bright, and beautifully balanced; the mint + lemon combo makes it so refreshing. 🥩 Beef Wellington (Special of the Night) – One of the stars of the night! Golden pastry, juicy beef, and an amazing red wine sauce that ties everything together. Desserts are a must here 👇 🍫 Home-made Chocolate Mousse – Silky, rich, and made with Marou chocolate, giving it that bold, premium Vietnamese cacao flavor. 🔥 2 Crêpes Suzette Flambéed Tableside – The highlight! The server prepares it right in front of you, flambéing it with Grand Marnier liqueur. So entertaining to watch — and it tastes even better than it looks. They also served complimentary sourdough bread, and the server mentioned it’s made from scratch in the restaurant. I loved it; soft on the inside, perfectly chewy, and with that mild tangy flavor that makes a great sourdough so satisfying. 🥖✨ They also have an extensive drink menu with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. We tried their house wines, which paired perfectly with the dishes and rounded out the night so well. 🍷✨ The ambiance was so relaxing — warm lights, elegant French interiors, and cozy courtyard vibes. Truly the perfect spot for date nights, special dinners, or just treating yourself to a beautiful evening in Saigon. ✨🤍
