We had dinner at The Refinery Bistro, a French restaurant tucked inside a charming courtyard in District 1 — and wow, the whole night felt like a mini escape to Paris. Here’s what we ordered 👇 🥩 Traditional Steak Frites 300g Prime Steak – Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, served with crispy fries and a rich pepper sauce. 🍆 Aubergine, Spinach & Lentil Roulade Gratinée – A hearty, earthy vegetarian option with creamy textures and deep flavors. 🌿 Asparagus, Mint & Lemon Risotto – Fresh, bright, and beautifully balanced; the mint + lemon combo makes it so refreshing. 🥩 Beef Wellington (Special of the Night) – One of the stars of the night! Golden pastry, juicy beef, and an amazing red wine sauce that ties everything together. Desserts are a must here 👇 🍫 Home-made Chocolate Mousse – Silky, rich, and made with Marou chocolate, giving it that bold, premium Vietnamese cacao flavor. 🔥 2 Crêpes Suzette Flambéed Tableside – The highlight! The server prepares it right in front of you, flambéing it with Grand Marnier liqueur. So entertaining to watch — and it tastes even better than it looks. They also served complimentary sourdough bread, and the server mentioned it’s made from scratch in the restaurant. I loved it; soft on the inside, perfectly chewy, and with that mild tangy flavor that makes a great sourdough so satisfying. 🥖✨ They also have an extensive drink menu with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. We tried their house wines, which paired perfectly with the dishes and rounded out the night so well. 🍷✨ The ambiance was so relaxing — warm lights, elegant French interiors, and cozy courtyard vibes. Truly the perfect spot for date nights, special dinners, or just treating yourself to a beautiful evening in Saigon. ✨🤍

Went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday. The place is very cozy inside a square through a small alley. It is actually very accessible as it is just opposite to the Park Hyatt Hotel. Service is lovely (but....) and the food is good quality and delicious. I had a 3-course lunch (asparagus soup, sea bass and a dessert and a glass of wine) which only cost US$10. Everything was supposed to be perfect. The only issue I experienced was that I ordered a glass of white wine from the menu which I was then told is from thr Al la Carte menu (I misunderstood it was part of the set lunch) and I have to pay the FULL PRICE of US$8. Not too expensive but I don't understand if they charged the full price for that white wine, why they didn't serve me the glass which is supposed to be included in the set lunch. Anyway, I cannot blame them as I didn't ask in detail (assume it is just normal practice that I just pay a bit more if I order a better wine). Stupid me... Anyway, I will go back again but just don't order anything but set lunch.

Really enjoyed lunch here. Had the lasagne 🍝 which was rich and proper comforting and the fish was fresh and cooked spot on. Both dishes hit the spot 👌 also profiteroles for dessert were so delicious. 🤤 The place has a laid back charm to it. Tucked away off an alley in a quiet little courtyard under cover in the rain is cool and feels like you’re miles away from the chaos of the city. Cold beer, warm fresh bread and butter when you sit down 🍞🍺 Simple things done right. Juices were good too especially liked the super orange one. Service was friendly and chill and the whole vibe just felt easy and relaxed. They also have indoor dining but outside wasn’t hot. I like how dark it is when blind is covered but some might not. Will 100% come back ✅.

The Refinery is a fantastic spot with a lovely terrace that’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. It’s my favorite place for fresh, delicious salads that never disappoint. The vibe is chill and inviting, making it an ideal hangout. Plus, its central location makes it super convenient to visit. Definitely a go-to place for good food and a great ambiance!

Food was amazing. Staff was very attentive. We had an enjoyable birthday dinner here. Wish they could do more for the special occasion, I did put a note when making reservation for birthday but there was no surprised.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Refinery, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the charming atmosphere, with a lovely blend of French inspired décor and warm lighting that instantly made me feel welcome. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the kitchen puts a lot of care into every plate. Whether it was the appetizers, mains, or desserts, everything was perfectly prepared and exceeded my expectations. But what made the experience truly special was the service. A huge thank you to Boris Trung, who went above and beyond to make sure our evening was perfect. His professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail were exceptional. He made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal and added a personal touch that really elevated the whole experience. If you’re looking for a place with great food, beautiful ambiance, and outstanding service, I highly recommend The Refinery. I will definitely be coming back and I hope Boris Trung is there to greet us again!

This place was like hidden inside a sort of alley, you have to walk in to find the space with other restaurants. Super cute, French style with a relaxing comfortable space to sit out! The beef carpaccio was delicious. We also didn’t know they offered happy hour and had some wine as well. The clams with red wine were great and also yummy with bread. The staff were so friendly !
