The Remarkable Sweet Shop - Arrowtown Shop

The staff were helpful and kind. But their chocolates (especially their house-made chocolates that you can customise/ mix and match) were a nightmare. Pure refined sugar flavoured with some cocoa/coffee/honey. All six flavours that we bought tasted the same (I.e. sugar). Product needs serious rework (global chocolate shops offer significantly better fare) but great customer experience from the staff.

Love the selection of lollies, first time visiting the sweet shop with my boyfriend! I was amazed at the selection I was amazed that the sweet shop was in the Halloween spirit spooky cup is very good 100% recommend only during Halloween season so grab it before you miss out! I was also very happy that they cater to people with allergies, I saw the gluten free lolly cup and got that for my mum cause she deserves a treat and I know she’ll enjoy it! I will definitely be back again 💗

Lots of flavours to choose for their fudge and nougat, they’re all pretty interesting. You get to sample every flavour. They got heaps of chocolates and lollies to choose from and it’s not only made from NZ, you can find chocolates and lollies from around the world. The shop is small and feels like a novelty. The amount of lollies will overwhelm you in a good way, so make sure you have time to overthink which flavours to get like I did haha! I got the $50 box of fudge and nougat with different flavours. The man who served us was really lovely. His customer service skill is on point, looks like he’s good with people! He even took a photo of us which we appreciated. You can buy them at the airport but it feels so different when you’re in Arrowtown and being surrounded by a collection of lollies!

The Remarkable Sweet Shop in Arrowtown is a treat surrounded by a vibrant array of sweets that transport you back to childhood. The staff are friendly and welcoming, offering samples of their amazing fudge. With so many unique sweets to choose from. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth or just looking to indulge in something special!

If you’re in Arrowtown you need to visit this beautiful candy shop. Something truly out of a child’s dream, offering nostalgia alongside incredible customer service. Incredibly well organised to view all the different types easily. Not a candy fan? Try out their large range of fudge, chocolate & nougat. Staff were happy to offer testers of each flavour with no pressure to buy. I did buy the crème brûlée & coconut rough fudge, can easily say I wish I had brought more! Best (and most unique) fudge flavours I have tried.

The store is rather small and gets really packed. Staff were kind and chatty. Great place to check out nonetheless

Not sure if this feedback is wanted but please taste the watermelon flavoured sour straps because i think there may have been an issue with whoever supplies it to you. They tasted really really bad - not sour and nothing like watermelon.

This is the best candy/chocolate shop ever to exists. I would recommend trying their in house fudge to take back home as gifts/ souvenirs for friends back home. I recommend the sea salt chocolate and Biscoff flavor fudge.

Recommend lots of choices too choose from. Ask the friendly staff which ones are bestsellers and they will point you to some bestsellers you can choose from make sit much easier ;)
