Very cool street bar / restaurant, that turns into a street party later at night. Food is great as well, but be prepared to drink your beer from a plastic cup

Went for karaoke and every time I have been there it has been a good time. I highly recommend the kokorko drink and ginger shot. Go easy... it's meant to be savored not chugged!! 😊😊 Tuesday nights is karaoke.

Hands down STILL undefeated bar in Accra, let alone Osu! Nowhere like it...proudly Ghanaian and unapologetically pan-african with a focus on local talent/creatives too. I have been rooting behind this place wayyyyy before 'detty dec' was a thing. Long live Republic! Yɛnko yɛnko!

This bar is hands down the best place in Accra. Such a variety of music and people. I ALWAYS enjoy myself here. Table culture is not a thing here. Just people enjoying people. I’ve made some lifelong friends here and I will always appreciate republic.

Great place on a Wednesday night once you get inside. Outside the zone, it’s locals trying to sell drugs and prostitution. I can’t express how aggressive the locals are here. Go early and it’s free and easy to find a table, or go later after 11 and get inside as fast as possible to avoid the drama. The only place in Accra I’ve visited that has this type of atmosphere outside the venue. Be careful.
