“Obsessed with this property” is an understatement! The Reserve is a charming, family-run boutique hotel, and it’s easy to see why it consistently earns five-star reviews. Everything about our stay was exceptional. As a loyal hotel-points collector, I usually never pass up the chance to use them — but this time, I gladly set them aside because I had to experience The Reserve. I’m so glad I did! We arrived late in the evening, first greeted by the elegant gated entrance and then by the stunning historic mansion, built in 1898. The Reserve has been lovingly restored to honor its past, with every design choice paying homage to the time period. From the chandeliers and wallpaper to the curtains, furnishings, and layout — every detail has been hand-selected with incredible care. Walking through the house feels like stepping back in time, but with all the comfort and ease of a modern luxury stay. We stayed in the Buckstaff Room, which we absolutely loved. Although I was simply tagging along on my husband’s business trip, our stay at The Reserve ended up being the highlight of my time in Hot Springs. Nathan, the owners’ son and a remarkably talented chef, made our mornings unforgettable. The first breakfast featured a Southern classic: chicken and cornmeal waffles, with sweet corn and just a hint of jalapeño folded into the batter. It was unlike any chicken and waffles I’ve ever had, and I’ll be thinking about it for a long time. The second morning brought eggs Benedict with perfectly crisp, golden lyonnaise potatoes. On top of that, Nathan welcomed us with his homemade cream cheese crinkle cookies. I’ve never been a fan of that type of cookie, yet these were so delicious we couldn’t resist taking a dozen home to share with family. During our downtime, we explored the mansion and grounds — breathtaking at every turn. We even joked about getting married again just to host it here! Mark, one of the owners, kindly gave us a personal tour of the Enclave Suite, a gorgeous separate unit often used by brides and grooms for weddings. Hearing the history of the property and their vision for the future was truly special. Mark, Rhonda, Nathan, and Kaitlyn are a gift to Hot Springs — not only preserving this landmark, but sharing it so generously with guests. Each morning began with a quiet luxury: complimentary fresh-squeezed orange juice and coffee delivered right to our room. It was the perfect way to start the day. To summarize: I took countless photos, but even they couldn’t capture the full magic of The Reserve. This is a property you simply have to experience for yourself. From the warm hospitality and exquisite food to the timeless charm of its historic setting, The Reserve will take your breath away the moment you arrive.

We stopped in Hot Springs while on a cross country road trip from California to South Carolina. 📍 Stayed: 9/23 - 9/25 🏨 Room Type: Enclave Suite Room: 9.5/10 My wife and I stayed in the Enclave Suite, which is in its own building on the property. It’s a beautiful, well equipped suite with a fantastic bathroom/shower/bathtub, small dining area, comfy bed, and TV area down a few steps. Very private and has everything you could want in a room. Highly recommend this room! Must-Experience: 9/10 Breakfast and coffee in suite! We could not believe how delicious the breakfast was each morning, delivered at the time of our request. Each morning was different and gourmet. Total surprise how great it was. Service: 9/10 You can text the staff for any requests and they are very responsive. Because we were in the suite, we actually never went into the main building. Property & Amenities: 9/10 Beautiful property with plenty of grassy areas with nice landscaping. We were traveling with our two small dogs and really enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces. Location: 8/10 Location is off a very busy main road and there is not much you’d want to walk to. Once inside the gates, it’s a sanctuary but most of what Hot Springs has to offer is a short drive away. Value: 8.5/10 Not cheap, but definitely the best place in town. Would I return? Yes!

This hotel felt like we had gone back in time and stayed at Downton Abbey but with modern amenities. Every room was breathtaking with antiques and details. The bathroom was luxury level down to the soaps, bathrobes and slippers. Every staff member was friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Do not skip breakfast! The 2 course breakfast was different each of the 3 mornings and the chef came to our table to describe what he had prepared for us. I requested gluten free and it was delicious. I looked forward to the gluten free cookies he made fresh each day for us, all different flavors. They also brought tea and juice to our door each morning. The hotel grounds are stunning! Take time to walk the gardens and view the many waterfalls on property. I also enjoyed relaxing in the sun room and watching the lights dance across the room as the sunlight hit the chandeliers. We will be returning and bringing our family with us soon. 😊

I had the privilege of staying at the Reserve over the past few days!! My stay was gifted to me by a friend, so I went in completely blind to the experience they offer and I must say this was one of the most accommodating, personable, and charming stays I have ever had!! I travel quite often for work and have stayed at a mixture of airbnb's, high end hotels, and everything in between. The Reserve has got to be one of my top favorite places I have stayed at! The breakfast they offer is spectacular and very delicious (I had the steak and eggs with their crispy breakfast potatoes the first morning, and the eggs benedict the second morning!) Their rooms were tidy, cozy and elevated. Their property is gorgeous and so peaceful. And lastly, the staff is nothing but genuinely so insanely kind and attentive and very responsive. I highly recommend staying here!!

We’re so glad we discovered The Reserve at Hot Springs for our quick weekend escape! This place is truly a hidden gem in Hot Springs, Arkansas. From the beautifully designed rooms and charming buildings to the peaceful, well-maintained grounds, everything was incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully curated. The breakfast was outstanding, a real highlight of our stay. After a delicious dinner in downtown Hot Springs, we ended the evening perfectly with a bottle of wine by the cozy outdoor firepit. It was relaxing, memorable, and exactly what we were hoping for. I highly recommend The Reserve at Hot Springs to anyone visiting the area, it’s a special place that makes your stay unforgettable!

My friend and I had a great time even though it was kind of pricey. We enjoyed looking at all the different rooms they had worked on. The hostesses were super. The chef and his staff were nice as well as prepared very tasty food. The only thing I would suggest is maybe preparing a pamphlet explaining in more detail the history of the old house. We had a great time. If I have an opportunity to go again I would certainly go.

This is definitely a hidden jewel! We’ve driven by for years when we visited Hot Springs and never noticed this beautiful home. Even though it’s close to Oaklawn and right off the main road we never noticed. It’s very quiet in and around the property. There was great attention to detail, the entire place was extremely clean and so welcoming. Even though it’s an older home the attention to detail and cleanliness didn’t have you feeling like you were staying in something old. The antiques throughout the home were tastefully done and beautiful. The decor was well thought out with just enough modern touches without losing the original feel of the home. The grounds are very well manicured and wonderful for a nightly stroll. Can’t say enough good things about Katelyn. She has a heart for hospitality and very easy to work alongside. She helped my husband plan the perfect, relaxing get away that we both needed. The atmosphere was quite relaxing without feeling stuffy. It was wonderful stay and we are already looking forward to our next stay.

Yelp
The reserve was absolutely incredible. Alex, Nate, Khloe, and Jesse were on top of everything, and we truly had so much fun getting to know them! I've never been treated so luxuriously before. The rooms and all the common areas were spotless and smelt so nice. The outdoor areas were comfortable and relaxing. It's also in a great location since it's close to the casino, mineral baths, and other fun and beautiful attractions in Hot Springs. We stayed for a long weekend for a wedding that was held in the property and everybody made everything so easy for all of us. Nate is deserving of a Michelin star for his cooking and baking. And those cookies were the best I've ever had in my life. If you know, you know. Thank you for everything! We cannot wait to come back! We will never forget you guys. Thank you!

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful, amazing and historic! Such a sight to see when walking in, nearly takes your breath away. Kind staff and surprisingly low rates, we expected them to be higher than they were. Super cool, even just to walk through the entrance lobby.

Yelp
You must stay here!! The place is impeccably restored. Even down to the caulking of the baseboards-yes I look at those things. The hand painted dining room mural, the extremely well appointed rooms, the 24/7 butlers pantry for drinks and snacks included in your room rate. The breakfast was a three course meal that was amazing. Not one thing negative or even neutral to say. The grounds were also gorgeous.

Yelp
This was one of the best stays my fiancé and I have ever had, anywhere. They greeted us by name on arrival and showed us to our room where several extra treats were left, along with a card addressed to me for my birthday. The room and house it's in were both beautiful - a perfect combination of classic architecture and style with nice modern amenities. Coffee was brought to our room first thing in the mornings, and the 3-course breakfast was incredible. The hosts are so kind and personable, and the whole experience of staying here felt very intimate and private. This was the best part of our trip to Hot Springs by a mile!

Yelp
We just wrapped up a weekend at the Reserve, and there wasn't a single thing that wasn't fantastic. The owners and the staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. From the tour to start the weekend through the lovely gift after dinner Saturday night, every element of our stay showed thoughtfulness and attention to detail. We stayed in the Enclave, a converted pottery shed. The decor was beautifully rustic, including an amazing shower, huge soaking tub, fabulous fireplace and maybe the best bite bed I've ever experienced. Add on a well stocked fridge, great wifi, and meals brought to our room. We had no reason to leave all weekend. Speaking of food, theirs was as good as anyplace you will find. Every dish and every bite was spot on with taste, texture and presentation. I was amazed and the quality being produced by their kitchen (which was sparking clean and overseen by a sweet Anthony Bourdain painting). All this while having gluten free meals all weekend. Not that you could tell. We booked out next visit before we left. This was one of the best trips we've taken in years, and we travel more than a little. There are lots of choices for high end lodging around Hot Springs, but you will not find anything better than this.

Yelp
The Reserve is one of the most well thought out boutique hotels I have ever been to. Breakfast is a three course meal included in your stay in addition to complimentary coffee/tea delivered to your room every morning. The grounds are pristine and the house is even more stunning. It is the best place to stay in Hot Springs without a doubt.

Yelp
This is one of the best places we have ever stayed! I cannot say enough good things about The Reserve and the service and attention to detail provided by owners Rhonda and Mark McMurry. The hotel is gorgeous. Our room was lovely and cozy. The made-to-order, delivered to your room coffee service every morning is wonderful. Breakfast is literally gourmet. Fresh roses, homemade cookies, personal notes of welcome - everything is fabulous! Our visit to The Reserve was an anniversary trip. We honeymooned at Blackberry Farm and this was every bit as nice, but on a smaller scale.

Yelp
My husband and I visited Hot Springs for our "BabyMoon" getaway to relax. WOW this place was more than we expected! The had non alcoholic wine and a little baby decorated dessert made for me. It felt like an all inclusive hotel with the wine and food accessibility. We enjoyed our 5 star breakfast with amazing coffee and service from the hosts of the B&B. The rooms and details of the house were incredible. I would wake up and do a meditation and workout by the waterfall and garden area they have. Across the street is a brand new state of the art spa at the Oaklawn Casino that was just built. We enjoyed Sunday football out by the pool in a cabana before our massages. The amenities are great there. The location of the B&B is very central to all the attractions and things to do. I wouldn't have changed a thing! This is the perfect place to retreat!

Yelp
What a nice place to stay! What hospitality. The main house has been impeccably restored. The grounds are beautiful and they have a great fire pit! I am a vegan and they made me a fabulous vegan breakfast. Also had a vegan dessert for us the night we arrived. A must if you travel to Hot Springs!

Yelp
We stayed here a few weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing. Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, hosts were more then accommodating and welcoming soon our arrival! And the bathtub and shower were to die for!
