The Residence Maldives at Falhumaafushi

We had the most incredible time. The water villa with pool was fantastic - spacious, luxurious, clean and great amenities. The food was delicious - so much choice and a variety of cuisines. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Excursions were great. Keen to return soon!

Our honeymoon was Perfect! We enjoyed our Time in The Résidence Maldive. |The weather was great despite the rainy season. |The atmospher was just what we look for : calm and relaxing for our honeymoon. ||The beach et falumafushi was great with the pool and the beach bar where Rasal makes excellent cocktails.||The beach villa had a great view, we slept very well. House keeping was always Perfectly done by Joynal. |Staff was always smiling and always happy to help. ||The food was just delicious! |A lot of activities are available (snorkeling, kawak, jetski..)|The dolphin Cruise was Amazing!

We went for our honeymoon and we couldn't recommend it more. Excellent service from everyone here. Accomodating all our requests, particularly around the weather. We could always find someone at the lobby who would be able to help. More often than not it was Shrini who was a magnificent host. The restaurants are exquisite and waiters/waitresses go out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our experience. We particularly enjoyed going to Li Bai for Italian and Cantonese and the service from Hasan. He always made recommendations based on what we enjoyed and so every meal was memorable.||Unfortunately, the tides and current meant we couldn't do a few water excursions so I guess we'll have to come back soon to complete our trip!

We went on our honeymoon here and LOVED it! All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The views are gorgeous and we saw lots of wildlife. Highly recommend the dolphin cruise!! The guys found a pod of dolphins straight away that stayed with us the whole time. The food and drinks were also amazing, as was the cleaning and everything else. I 10000% want to come back here!!

From the moment we arrived in this amazing paradise we immediately felt relaxed. The service here was absolutely wonderful, we experienced all of the dining experiences and I have to say we where blown away by the standards of service and amazing food. My top tip would be to dine overwater at The Falhumaa, we where very excited to see the baby sharks up close swimming in their natural habitat. We stayed in a water pool villa and again the standard of the accommodation was fantastic with the most amazing and uninterrupted views. Visiting The Maldives for the first time I can honestly say The Residence has completely stolen my heart. I can not wait to return, thank you to all of the amazing staff for making this a truly remarkable experience.

Every moment of our 9 days stay was memorable.||The Villas were nice and confy.|surroundings and marine life stunning with turtels, rays and small reef sharks passing often just a few feet from our water villa.||Every member of the staff made us feel like we were their top priority. |Food and drinks is top class at all servings. Can especially mention the dininig room, li bai and Long island restaurants.||Our best reccomendations to all that consider a stay.

My partner and I just got back from our honeymoon - we stayed 9 nights at The Residence Maldives Falhumaafushi and honestly, I don't think we could've picked a better holiday. The resort was breathtaking, the over water villas were amazing, the food was to die for, there was so much to do.... we went wake boarding, snorkelling with turtles, on a dolphin cruise, to the spa, beach bars, bike riding, stand up paddle boarding... It felt so exclusive...like we were the only ones on the island! The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We haven't stopped telling everyone about our trip since we've been back! Highly recommend!!

We stayed at The Residence Maldives for 5 nights in two overwater villas, and it was truly a dream vacation. From the moment we landed in Malé, the hotel staff made everything seamless—greeting us warmly, assisting with our luggage, and guiding us through the domestic flight and short speedboat ride to the resort. The villas were spacious, spotless, and offered breathtaking views. We loved biking across the bridge at sunset and soaking in the beauty of the island. There were several restaurant options, but we especially enjoyed the custom spicy Maldivian breakfast at Dhigurah, thanks to Dinesh. The dining room manager, Hafiz, stood out for his professionalism and genuine hospitality—he and his team went above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. Our teens took the Open Water Diving course offered by the resort, and both the instructor and boat crew were outstanding—professional, patient, and very helpful with all the gear. What made our stay truly memorable was the warmth and kindness of the staff across the resort—the lobby team, buggy drivers, restaurant staff, and even the on-call doctor. Every interaction was met with a smile and a genuine effort to make our experience perfect. Highly recommend!
