The Residence Maldives at Falhumaafushi

Our trips to the Maldives have always been about the sea life - this place doesn’t disappoint- the coral and fish, sharks, turtles etc were fantastic- far better than we’ve ever experienced in the north islands. |Our room was the best we’ve ever had - a water/pool villa on sunset side with the fantastic reef right off our deck |The grounds of the island are Beautiful with extensive flora and fauna plus amazing fruit bats. |Lovina- at the spa gave me an amazing massage |Jaavid & rabina in the man restaurant were truly wonderful and worked so hard.|Long Island Italian restaurant was superb - we had crab, lamb cutlet & tiramisu/panna cotta |The Asian restaurant too was incredible- beautiful surroundings and excellent service and food. |We ate in the “French” restaurant too but were pretty underwhelmed- many of the dishes had a supplement to pay and not what I would class as French - I had ravioli! |Our main “disappointment “ was the man restaurant- menu never changed and similar at lunch and evening? And with 10 days there a little lacking for us in taste and variety - you could go to the other island for a “change” but a few miles on the bike or get a golf cart? |The drinks choices were fantastic- lots of different cocktails and so may wine choices. |Again our main “disappointment “ here is that we Struggles to find comfy seats to have pre dinner drinks at bar in evening. There were 8 sofas inside bar area - and stools at bar edge - all|Under cover? all seats actually on beach were reserved for dining guests? Very odd - not conducive to a relaxing evening drink- never had this issue before. |Big downside was leaving the resort at 3am for a 1140 flight? 5.5 hour wait at man airport |Mainly French, Chinese and few Russian guests too

I don’t know how to write a review when amazing, excellent, exceptional and fantastic doesn’t even come close to the wonderful experience we had at the Residence at Falhamaashi. Every single staff member we met went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible experience of our lives. We knew we were in a special place with special people when they found out our luggage was delayed (before we did) and when we arrived at our villa there was clothes and toiletries waiting for us. Every day we enjoyed swimming in our private pool at our villa, taking a few steps down the ladder to the ocean to snorkel the beautiful reef or take a short bike ride to the main pool to enjoy a different atmosphere. Our sunset villa was spectacular, cleaned and replenished daily and the views were unbelievable. We enjoyed watching the beautiful colorful fish, baby sharks and stingrays swim by on a daily basis. We were able to enjoy the spa twice during our stay and the staff was very pleasant and wonderful. The food was amazing, with our all-inclusive, we were offered different restaurants in our package and the staff made sure we were able to take every advantage of our package. What made our trip extra special was the staff, we cannot thank Ramesh, Samitha, Mi Mi, Tulsi, Fajaiyan, Isuzu, Eyesha and Ahmed, I know I am missing some, but you are certainly not forgotten. Every day, every person we met had a genuine smile and made sure our stay was the best experience possible. It started with the representative meeting us at the Male airport, and ended with the same representative at the airport guiding us to our departure gate on time. We were lucky enough to be there on Christmas Eve, the beach Christmas cocktail party was fun and so festive! The dinner buffet was amazing with the Christmas deserts being out of this world! |Thank you for making this trip the most magical 10 year anniversary trip!

Fantastic people, amazing food and an extremely spacious beach Villa (number 200)|Only thing the beach all round is full of rocks and dead coral. You can’t walk on it or go into the sea without beach shoes. We didn’t see any sea life in the two weeks of our stay.

Zeek gave us the warmest welcome, and Jaavid and Suhana ensured every meal in the dining room was perfect. Kamrul and Samitha at the Beech Bar created a relaxed atmosphere with impeccable service, while Uzzal and Aramez kept our room spotless and comfortable. Evenings at the Li Bar / Long Island were a delight thanks to Jawad and Hasa, who always greeted us with smiles and fantastic drinks. Their dedication and friendliness made our stay truly remarkable. Thank you also to all the buggy drivers who ushered us to different locations with warmth and pleasure.

We spent our Christmas holidays at Residence Maldives, and it was an unforgettable experience. The service was absolutely exceptional—every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views and a serene atmosphere that truly feels like paradise. The rooms were perfect: spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed for comfort and relaxation. The resort itself is simply marvelous, offering top-notch facilities and a sense of luxury in every detail. The food was really good||What truly stood out was the attention and warmth of the staff—they made our stay extraordinary. We will definitely be coming back!

We had the best family vacation ever in Maldives and it was largely due to the Residence. From the time we arrived, we were greeted warmly and cannot fault the service from each staff member. To the amazing buggy drivers, the waiters at the various restaurants who were always full of suggestions, the bartenders, reception staff, wonderful housekeeping personnel and everyone that was just so polite answering our many questions and attending to our needs - thank you for making our vacation one that we will remember forever. Amazing food, atmosphere, positive vibe all made for a wonderful relaxing time. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here in Dec 2025/Jan 2026 as a Family of 3. The overall structure is beautifully designed: there are two islands connected by a bridge, which means that there is double the normal opportunities to explore and do things. The room we stayed in was more like an apartment. It has a large bedroom, a living room and a large bathroom. It also had a private pool overlooking the ocean. ||||There are several (I believe 7) restaurants to choose from and, even in 10 days of 3 meals per day, we did not get bored of menus. ||||There are also two beautiful SPAs. One in particular with breathtaking views. I did not make use of the SPAs but my wife did and she was truly impressed by the experience. ||||The staff is very accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble and they will go the extra mile to satisfy customer requests. In general the atmosphere is very relaxed - yet - professional and the service is impeccable on a very consistent basis. ||||In terms of activities, there is plenty to choose from: diving. snorkeling, water sports (motorised and non), excursions and so on. ||||But - for me (and this is personal) - having the house reef just in front of the room was the truly outstanding feature. Every day I would get in the water straight from the room and go spend some time watching the amazing spectacle that the reef has to offer. Priceless.||||The islands are spotlessly maintained. Gardeners are always at work to keep the beautiful vegetation in shape and the pathways clean (spotless); cleaners; chefs; technicians fixing/maintaining infrastructure: plenty of people constantly at work to keep the place running and running in perfect order. ||||Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.
