We enjoyed the most fantastic Sunday at Retreat Restaurant, such a stunning setting, beautiful views and such great food. This Sunday brunch is great value for money, you just kuier and eat and drink from 12 till 4! The food is so delicious, they replenish the platters the whole time. Such a lovely spread. Great staff, friendly service. One of the best finds in a while!!

I had a wonderful stay at Boschendal Retreat Cottages! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the cottages were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The surroundings are peaceful and beautifully maintained — perfect for a relaxing getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

The Retreat at Boschendal is an exceptional venue — beautifully designed, with outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. Ideal for both conferences and leisure stays. A serene, memorable experience from start to finish.

We went for Fathers Day lunch. Their offering was not thought through regarding families and children. Kids did not want to eat the set menu so we had to purchase pizzas at extra cost. Very disappointing. Chef was not interested in addressing this - we were not the only ones

A paradise for the privileged and the perfect oasis for those who like to keep to themselves. Hermetically sealed, they ensure that no unwanted guest disturbs the sacred peace. Mountains, perfect climate and vegetation like something out of a picture book. Ideal for exclusive events and a dream for Instagrammers. The quality of the beds was great. The wine: excellent. The breakfast: outstanding. The swimming pool? A bit green, but charmingly natural.

Marvelous structure in the South African Winlands! We stayed only 1 night during our honeymoon but it was enough to fall in love with this place. People here is extremely caring of clients, and the cottages are absolutely stunning: 2 bedrooms (our faced directly the mountains!) And 2 bathrooms, and a living room with a kitchen and a lovely fireplace. Breakfast is continental and abundant, we loved it. I hope that we can come back soon to pass more nights here!

Great place. Absolutely beautiful, great quality food and wine. You can really feel the local produce. We went there for a wedding, can definitely recommend.
