Great stay at the Retreat , hotel is small but has everything you need - we had half board and the food was varied enough during our week there. It is at the end of the palm so you need to get a taxi to go anywhere - nice little beach and pool - not too busy so there were always sunbeds. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room a good size and nice bathroom. Some building work going on at the front of hotel - like most places in Dubai - so a bit noisy at times, but that didn’t affect us really.

I had a wonderful time at the Palm Retreat, the kindness of the staff as soon as you walk in is amazing. The variety of food served is great and the flavours are really nice. The rooms are well decorated and catered to maximise your comfort. A special thanks to Amgad the manager for his incredible kindness and hospitality. Me and my family felt very welcome and would definitely come back!

1 star for not COMMUNICATING that this is a DRY hotel. Nowhere during the booking process or on the hotel’s website was it made clear that no alcohol is served. I have no issue with this in a Muslim country, but I do expect to be informed in advance, as this does not reflect the usual local hotel standard. Explaining this with the label “wellness hotel” feels rather misleading, as there is little else that supports this claim beyond a few fitness activities per day. Formally, this is a five-star hotel because it meets the required criteria, but it is definitely not a luxury property. The rooms are relatively small, the food is bland and uninspired, and the coffee is frankly undrinkable. On a positive note, Thelma at breakfast is extremely friendly and attentive. Overall, it is a pleasant hotel, but it fell well below our expectations. This is certainly not a standout property on the Palm, and we would choose a different hotel next time. There were also significant disruptions due to a wedding starting at 4 p.m., which took over the entire pool bar area. As no alternative was offered, the only option was to retreat to our room. The celebration continued loudly until late at night. Finally, the lounge access is completely useless. Every time we attempted to use it, there were no snacks available at all—nothing except a few soft drinks.

The best hotel for families. Everything was perfect: the location, the cleanliness of the room, the size of the room, the wonderful staff who took great care of us. The breakfast, the sandwiches, the restaurant, everything was excellent. The pool, the beach, everything was perfect. A big, big thank you to the manager AMJAD and his team (Caroline, Ali, Murad, Mohamed, Vineeth, to name but a few). We couldn't have asked for anything better. I recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you for everything, we'll definitely be back. We felt like family, and that's thanks to the entire staff, thank you for everything.

I had an excellent stay at The Retreat Palm Dubai, MGallery and can highly recommend this hotel. From the very first moment, you can feel the unique atmosphere of calm, elegance, and outstanding service.||The rooms are modern, very comfortable, and exceptionally clean — perfect for a truly relaxing stay. I would especially like to highlight the friendliness and professionalism of the entire team. Every request was handled with a smile, and the service was attentive at all times without being intrusive.||A special thank you goes to Karan, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and always attentive. His warm and professional attitude truly made my stay even more enjoyable and memorable.||The hotel offers a beautiful beachfront location, excellent opportunities to relax, and a fantastic culinary experience. The spa and wellness area are also top-class and contributed greatly to the overall relaxation.||Overall, a hotel that leaves nothing to be desired. Peaceful and comfortable hotel. I prefer this hotel to the nearest one; it has a better pool zone and no construction on the first shoreline. You should choose a sea view if you don't want to hear construction on the other side of the building closer to the boardwalk. Breakfast is good, but you get used to it pretty fast. Local restaurants are okay, but I wouldn't highly recommend them; it's better to get some deliveries. To drive from Palma, you'd better get a taxi or hotel transfer, or book a car—the hotel has a local parking spot. As of January '26, the monorail doesn't work.

I had an amazing stay at The Retreat Palm Dubai. The staff was outstanding from start to finish professional, attentive, and always willing to help. My room was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant, which made my stay even more relaxing. The food was excellent, tasty, and nicely presented. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and ideal for unwinding and enjoying a different side of Dubai. I would like to give a special thank-you to Peace, a very kind and dedicated staff member. He found my ring and kept it safely until I return in February. His professionalism and kindness truly deserve recognition. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay.

At the Vibes Restaurant, our gratitude goes to Amgad, the manager, whose leadership and attentiveness ensured a remarkable dining experience. A heartfelt thank you as well to Ghizllan and Thelma — their genuine care, attention to detail, and warm hospitality made us feel completely at home.
