We have stayed in at least a dozen hotels over the past 4 weeks and this was our favorite. Rafael at the front desk went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is small and unique. Our room was spacious and well decorated and very comfortable. The massages were excellent. And the food at breakfast was great. We have only positive things to say about the Riad. It was great.

Very chic hotel. It’s small and intimate which may or may not be your style, but the staff made our stay amazing- very great dinner recommendations and they were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is centrally located in Tarifa, and the breakfast is amazing! Wouldn’t necessarily want to be stuck here all day on a rainy day but there’s so much to do in town or places to go just a boat ride away (like Tangier, which we did do in the rain). Would stay here again and I recommend!

Booked this hotel before our day trip into Morocco because of how cool the rooms looked. The atmosphere and look of the place is indeed very cool. Be aware of what you're getting as far as the bath/shower situation. It didn't bother me any, but it may propose a challenge for some to have the bath/shower exposed to the room. The included breakfast ( the only hotel during our trip which had breakfast included in it's normal rate) was impressive and enjoyable and the service during it was good. Our only complaint is that we checked in right after check in time (2:30pm) and we're told that no one would be at the front desk at that time (?) but we would somehow be let in by a different member of staff. We were stuck outside waiting and had to message for a code, wait for a reply, once we finally made it in the building we had to search for a different member of the staff to actually give us a room key. Not a very efficient or smooth process.

Very cozy atmosphere. It reminds hamman experience with good smell and music. You can book a massage to relax after Tarifa activities. The hotelier was very nice and attentive. We recommend to stay.

The hotel rooms were beautiful and very impressive on first impression. Once that has been absorbed, we got the impression that the stylish look of the rooms are at the compromise of the functionality. For example, nowhere to hang your clothes, no comfortable sitting area, windows that are drafty, etc. Our sleep was disturbed throughout the night from the canopies outside constantly rattling (maybe these could be retracted for the comfort of future guests?). Our biggest gripe though was that we booked a room that included breakfast, and received confirmation to say so, but was told that breakfast would not be served as they are closed on Sunday (we stayed Saturday night). We had to go out and find breakfast, and pay for this in addition, when we specifically booked this hotel due to the inclusion of a breakfast. It was our friend's birthday on the Sunday, and she was looking forward to a 'birthday breakfast'. We expressed our disappointment with this on WhatsApp due to no staff being there to challenge about this, and this message has been read but has not been replied to. Altogether, very poor customer service, and we would not stay here again.

Super cosy boutique hotel in the centre of Tarifa’s old town. Very attentive host at reception and very helpfull lady at the breakfast room. Very quiet street right by the busy main street leading to the wondervull cathedral. Easy with the local parking nearby. We will return for sure !

The location is fantastic - in the old town of Tarifa close to many restaurants and shops. Absolutely beautiful building with great ambiance and decoration. The rooms are lovely, staff super friendly and goes extra mile to make guests happy. The hammam experience was lovely, would also recommend. It’s a bit tricky for sensitive sleepers but I think you’d experience that in all of old town. I would stay here again - thank you Giorgina for a wonderful stay

We stayed at The Riad for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The hotel is small, but perfectly formed and in a great central location of the old town in a quiet street a few minutes walk from St Matthews Church. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A sumptuous breakfast is included with a wide selection of items and the best tortilla I have ever tasted. Our room was spacious with dual aspect windows overlooking the internal courtyard and the street. There is good outside space on the roof terrace with views over the town. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return should we revisit Tarifa.
