The Ridge Bali

From the moment we arrived, The Ridge exceeded every expectation. We chose it because of its incredible reviews, and experiencing it firsthand made it clear exactly why it’s so highly praised. The staff truly made our stay unforgettable. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond with genuine warmth and attentiveness. You can tell they take immense pride in what they do. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made us feel so welcomed, valued, and completely cared for throughout our entire stay. We celebrated our engagement this trip and they exceeded our expectations with setting up the room, setting up a tour/photographer and thoughtful gestures with a handwritten note. They are the reason this trip and place with always hold a special place in our hearts! The food was also absolutely exceptional. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and well presented, with fresh ingredients and incredible flavor. We preferred the food at The Ridge more than any of the other restaurants we tried in Ubud. Cleanliness was impeccable. The rooms were spotless and meticulously maintained. The beds were cozy and the room itself felt like a peaceful, quiet retreat. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully cared for, which made it so easy to fully relax and unwind. The Ridge is the perfect combination of outstanding service, delicious food, relaxing surroundings, and ultimate comfort. We left already planning our return and will be recommending it to everyone we know. An easy five (plus++) stars in every category.

We stayed 4 nights. Our villa was luxuriously appointed, spacious, & comfortable with lots of attention to detail. Wonderfully private for spending intimate time outside enjoying the magnificent views. We had excellent Balinese massages in our room which were so relaxing. Breakfast each morning was bountiful, fresh and with plenty of choice, all freshly prepared and cooked to order. But what makes the Ridge stand out were its superb team. Everyone we interacted with, from housekeeping, to reception, and the restaurant excelled. Special mentions to Komang, Mega, Widi and the delightful young female trainee in the restaurant who looked after us with such warmth. Beautiful cocktails, followed by chats about life in Bali and recommendations of what to see and do. Ngurah was a terrific ambassador for the front of house helping organise our daily activities, always smiling and welcoming. Malen our driver was fun, engaging and considerate. Finally to Geni who helped sort out some errors with our bill. It was a pleasure to stay here and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Simply incredible. The absolute perfect place for us to begin our honeymoon. The villas themselves were wonderful, the view was gorgeous, the food was excellent, but what really made the trip was the service. From the very first moment, the whole staff cared about our experience and made sure that everything was perfect. They were incredibly attentive and responsive when we needed them, and allowed us our complete and uninterrupted privacy when we just wanted to enjoy our villa. Cannot thank the butler team of Indra, Ngurah, Bimbim, and Geni enough. They were simply awesome. Best accommodation experience I’ve ever had and would absolutely recommend to all.

Wow!! Where do I start from? Traveling all around the world! This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in my life. The level of everything is matched. Staff service, hospitality, kindness (they truly care about your experience) and everyone is always smiling. All the staff knew our names even the security at the gate. The rooms were absolutely stunning! In terms of views and privacy but also in terms of interior design and high quality furniture. It is the kind of stuff you’d find in magazines. They cleaned our rooms daily twice, one time when we are out in the morning, and another time when we went out at night. But really if you are not planning to leave the hotel then this is the place. We booked through there website which included a complementary one-way transfer from the airport, 30 mins massage (which we topped up with 2 90 mins massages in villa at a great price) , afternoon tea, one time use of the minibar and a complementary drink. We absolutely felt pampered and so glad we chose this for our honeymoon!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The room cleanliness and setup were excellent, the food was delicious, and the view from the restaurant and the rooms was simply breathtaking. All the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional — they truly made our stay memorable. A special thank you to Mega, Komang, Rio, Bimbim, Nugrah, and Indira — and I hope I didn’t forget anyone. Honestly, every single staff member we met was amazing and deserves appreciation. We really enjoyed every moment and will definitely come back!

The Ridge was truly exceptional. You’re led through a long pathway from the street into a jungle bliss. It’s a small property but one packed with endless character and charm. The staff were super super nice, kind and attentive— I’d give this hotel a 6 star rating just because of the staff and their service and how at home they made us feel. The rooms were well designed, incredibly clean, spacious and we loved the outdoor deck, bathtub and plunge pool. Frankly, I’d never even consider one of the bigger chain hotels given how perfect this property and its people are. I’m sure we’ll be back in Bali and I’d stay here without a doubt on the next trip. The perfect start to our stay in Bali, they made our honeymoon perfect. From room cleanliness to staff greetings and hospitality. My favorite part is that everyone in the hotel new our name. To the extent that one day we were late for breakfast and they extend the time just for us, food was also very delicious. The Ridge provides a luxury haven amidst the natural mystic surroundings of Bali. Our villa was an exotic combination of a private pool and deck overlooking the verdant valley. The bed was ultimately comfortable. The bathroom provided double sinks and a powerful shower.|| Dining at the Ridge was a five-star experience with healthy delicious food and a professional and welcoming staff. Thank you!
