The Ridge Bali

The Ridge Bali is the place to stay in Ubud! Everything at the hotel/ villa was perfect. All the staff were incredible, it was the best service we ever experienced at a hotel/ villa. All requests were responded to and fulfilled within minutes - direct WhatsApp communication with reception/ butler. The staff are extremely friendly and very professional and will do everything they can (and more) to accommodate guests. They always welcomed us warmly (and genuinely), responded promptly and went above and beyond. The villa itself is modern and beautifully decorated to a very high standard with everything you could want or need. The villa’s outdoor area is wonderful - the pool, relaxation areas and the view of the river/ rice fields and jungle areas are breathtaking! Housekeeping always made sure the room was very clean and well kept. The food at the restaurant (or in-room dining) is delicious and fresh. Special arrangements can be made with the hotel prior to arrival for special occasion with decorations, etc. I would recommend booking a car transport with the hotel throughout the stay for excursions and going to/ from restaurants, cafes, etc. The driver is very friendly and knowledgable of the local area. The Ridge Bali went above and beyond our expectations and we will definitely be back on our next visit to Ubud!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Ridge. There are a lot of hotel choices in and around Ubud, so I took my time choosing accommodations that would suit us best.||Starting with the service, everyone we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful. Our butlers, in particular, were 10/10, always remembering our preferences and making recommendations based off them. ||We ate quite a few times at Sayan Valley restaurant, trying most dishes on the menu, and enjoyed everything. The cocktail/mocktail and wine selection were excellent too. Our daily breakfast was beyond (I am currently missing my daily mango juice!) and always brought to our villa with a smiling staff.||We arranged a day with a driver through the hotel and loved the experiences (rice terraces, temple, coffee tasting). Another day, we got dropped off downtown Ubud and walked around, shopping and enjoying the people-watching.||Our villa was just what we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the A/C was strong, the pool was relaxing and the view was gorgeous. The amenities were appreciated since we flew carry-on only.||To top it all off, we had a jar of freshly-baked cookies left in our room every day. It was the perfect accompaniment to our tea!

We had an amazing stay at The Ridge Ubud! The villas are modern, spotlessly clean, and offer a stunning view of the surrounding nature. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with fresh and tasty options every morning. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the incredibly kind and welcoming staff — everyone was so warm and attentive. Thank you for making us feel at home. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed for three nights at the ridge in July. Staff were very friendly particularly Geni who was very keen to talk to us and ask us where we were from and what we had done in Bali. The hotel had a few daily complimentary shuttles into Ubud centre which made it easy to get to and from the town. We had our own private pool which was nice when it was a very hot day. Breakfast was provided to our room and staff were very accommodating when my partner was unwell and they brought up the breakfast and regularly checked in to see if there was anything they could do or provide which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast itself was great with pastries and smoothie bowls which tasted delicious. Afternoon tea was also provided and a complimentary massage which was nice. There were only a couple of downsides one being the transportation outwith the shuttles. Anywhere you were going these were grossly overpriced compared to a taxi which was sometimes 1/6 of the price that was offered by the ridge. So they could do better to make it more affordable and guests may be more likely to use their transport system as opposed to taxis. Also the tv situation was quite disappointing as there was no live tv and you were limited to Netflix. Naturally this is not a major issue but when your partner is unwell and can’t do much outwith the room it was nice in other hotels to have access to tv channels.||Despite the above as mentioned it was a very nice stay although slightly overpriced compared to similar villas/hotels we have stayed at in Bali.

Absolutely incredible experience at The Ridge, Ubud! From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel so welcome! nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond in every possible way. The service was faultless from start to finish. The breakfast each morning was simply fabulous fresh, delicious, and enjoyed with the most breathtaking views overlooking the jungle. The view from the restaurant is honestly next level absolutely insane! Our room was stunning spacious comfortable, and beautifully presented. Every little detail had been thought of, and we couldn’t fault a thing A special mention to Ngurah who made our stay extra memorable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and warm energy made us feel completely at home they are absolute gem! Even right to the very end, our driver dropped us at the airport and made sure we were looked after. The entire experience was seamless, relaxing, and exceeded all expectations. Truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Highly recommend we’ll definitely be back!

We had an incredible stay at this villa — the view overlooking the jungle and riverside is simply breathtaking. The service and staff were outstanding, delivering top-quality hospitality throughout our stay.||Breakfast and afternoon tea were both a perfect 10/10. The Wi-Fi was impressively fast — fast enough for us to stream football games without any issues, which made our experience even more enjoyable.||One of the best parts: the villa is located right next to the Four Seasons and shares the same stunning jungle and river view. A true hidden gem.

My wife and I recently stayed at The Ridge Bali, and from the moment we arrived, it was nothing short of amazing. We were warmly welcomed by Indra, whose genuine hospitality immediately set the tone. Along with the rest of the team, they made us feel right at home—Particularly Ngurah, always around with a smile, thoughtful, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their warmth and care created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and incredibly personal. A special thanks to Widi and Ana, who looked after us so well during our meals. Widi’s engaging stories and Ana’s thoughtful touches brought a unique charm to every experience. It wasn’t just about the delicious food—it was the connection to Balinese culture and the heartfelt way everything was shared that made each meal truly memorable. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape with outstanding service and an authentic Balinese feel, The Ridge is it. We truly can’t recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely amazing place to stay for our honeymoon. The service was excellent, and we loved the boutique experience. The property is gorgeous and we didn’t have to worry about a thing while we were there. The Ridge was the best part of our trip!!!
