The Rio Apartments

Very disappointed in how bad this complex has gotten in the last 3 years or more. My car was towed twice after the guest passes kept melting. I was told the towing would be paused until the tow company issued proper placards that didn't melt and fall out of view. In total I've spent $385 in tow fees for things out of my control.

I am a very honest person and I love the current property manager and I am sure this has been an issue prior to move in. However I feel like I am trapped in an episode of fear factor uncut. These large Waterbugs are taking over my bathroom each night I have to fight at least three new ones. Imagine roaches the size of your thumb appearing each time you enter you room. You kill one there is 2to3more waiting. I am willing g to relocate and cut my losses rather than live with them. It is a nightmare!!!!!!

The apartment is a nest of bugs, Cockroaches, and all kinds of insects. Update: We addressed this issue when we first moved in. The leasing office and administration resolved it by swapping our apartment and compensating us. Their caring and empathetic approach, as if they were in our shoes, made us feel at home. And since then, we have never gotten any issues.

This place is gross and disgusting. Management is MEAN and NASTY, also passive aggressive when you ask for help (Deena? Dana? Whatever her name is and that lady upfront). Rent is expensive. The apartment is given the “apartment special” so paint is peeling everywhere. Cabinet hinges are coming apart, Things are falling apart, random leaks, ac breaks down about at least 3 times a year. And there’s bug problems. No trash valet and the dump is far away depending where you’re at in the complex. Noisy neighbors and a club across the street. Mainly complaining about management since they’ve always had an attitude ever since I have lived here. Wish I can give it 0 stars honestly.

Do not rent at The Rio , you will never be able to get a good night sleep, because there are people playing loud music in their car every night across the street. So much noise coming from tally ho .these pictures are taken outside of my apartment at 3:00 am .if you are looking for an apartment, and you come across my review please do yourself a favor do not rent at the rio . You will regret it. As I’m editing this review I hear Gun shots outside. I’ll keep you guys updated, I won’t let anyone go through what I’m going through, and you’ll be paying close to $2000 a month for an apartment. You might as well find something nicer. Update :it’s 3:46 am cops are outside, helicopters are flying overhead and people are w driving around the complex trying to find places to hide, imagine dealing with this and still have to go to work , I never slept not even for a minute.

Work was not complete. Maintenance Technician Richard said the was too much paint and he would let his supervisor know.

Worst experience ever. Management is never courteous (except for the first appointment, when they want to get your business). Took forever to fix problems. Fleas/Ticks infestation, A/C busted frequently. After having my kids here for 6 years and being good site citizens (both of my kids who were going to college), when my youngest decided to withdraw from his studies and come back home, they imposed a collections balance on our credit bureaus. My son spoke to one representative and was able to get someone else to rent his bedroom within a month (my son even paid an extra month after leaving his bedroom), he was told it wouldn't affect our credit, yet they still filed a collection balance. No ethics at this place and is getting worse every year. Will never recommend it again. HL

I love it!!! Management is amazing! Dana is so easy to talk too and she does her very best to make sure everyone’s needs are met!!! Thank you Rio Apartments and thank you Dana!!
