Our stay was truly a celebration — expectations were high, but reality exceeded every single one of them. From the very first moment, we felt comfort, care, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a family vacation. The cleanliness and attention to detail were truly impressive — a true demonstration of luxury in every sense. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. Best hotel in Astana. Excellent service. This place never disappoints. My husband and I are also Connoisseur Club members and we love every part of it. The benefits are great and it always feels like home when we go at the Ritz. We love both restaurants, Mokki and Ozen as both offer different types of food and ambiance. We also truly enjoy all the numerous events and activities that are being offered. Lastly, I wish to mention one person in particular that we appreciate tremendously, Tokzhan! We were in touch with her before we moved to Astana (we are Canadian expats) and we have always been impressed with her professionalism. She is always available to help with whatever we need and is always a pleasure to deal with. Overall, the Ritz is the place to stay in Astana, offers great restaurants and if you live in Astana I recommend the Connoisseur Club. Ask for Tokzhan and I promise you will not be disappointed. ||Melissa

Very horrible experience. My room was 0511, on the fifth floor, and the window just towards to the vent of a restaurant’s kitchen. Because of this issue, I couldn’t even open to window. The gas from the vent just destroyed my lungs, so uncomfortable experience!When I try to apply change the room, the front desk staffs and guest service staffs performed very unprofessionally. No actions, just delay and excuses. Just when I complained the thing to the manager, they then told me that they can provide room on 17th floor. Ridiculous!That was even meaningless, because next morning I need to check out.The thing is, when your room has this kind of problem, why you should sell it as the price of like a normal room?Horrible experience. Definitely was the worst ＜ The Ritz-Carlton＞ from room conditions to the professional level of staffs.

This stay was particular rare form of bad customer service experience. Staring with the fact that in the first hour after checking into the room and stepping out for a meeting, someone came into my room and moved my things around. At some point a personnel barged in with complementary sweets, but forgot to knock. There is a policy of no slippers at breakfast, but it's dead of winter and all I have are uncomfortable heels to wear with my comfy clothes. I thought I got the breakfast included rate (that one is on me, I should have double checked) only to find out that the buffet breakfast is 26,000 ($50). Ironically, it is advertised as a leisurely affair. The rooms are spectacular, the location is great, but the staff needs to let go of the old Soviet hospitality habits.

We have lived and worked in many countries and had special stays in hotels around the world, but nothing matches our recent experience at the Ritz Carlton, Astana, which we booked as a birthday treat. From the communication with the ladies beforehand, who were so patient and helpful in all ways, to the last minutes, it was the most magical time. It is impossible to describe how thoughtful and generous all the staff are at this excellent hotel, which provides the highest calibre of accommodation and attends to every detail to ensure comfort, pleasure and luxury in all respects. |Stunning views, spotless, spacious rooms, wonderful silence, advanced technology, the best of beds, linen, shower, facilities - just everything was superb.|And the food! Mokki restaurant, with its exceptional chefs and sommelier, Ozen with absolutely fabulous cocktails, everything that was brought in addition in celebration - all absolutely amazing. All we can say is thank you - and just wish we could give a better accolade!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I genuinely felt this one was deserved. The waitress, Yerke, was one of those rare people who serve with sincerity — not just professionalism, but real kindness. She treated every guest with respect and carried a warm, genuine smile throughout. Her attention to detail and authentic care made the dining experience at the Ritz-Carlton feel truly special.
