A very nice hotel in the centre of Budapest. Situated in the old Ritz Carlton, this hotel has been very nicely modernised! Rooms feel big thanks to the very high ceilings and modern decor! Bathrooms are spacious and all dine to a good modern standard. Service is top notch. A welcome drink at check in, staff always saying hi, and there also to ensure you are well catered for. Breakfast is a mix between cooked and continental. All food was fine, nothing overly stand out.

My spouse and I visited Budapest for the first time. We wanted to celebrate my spouse’s celebration as well. The Al Habtoor Palace was a wonderful place to stay while we explored the city. It has a great central location, wonderful service and luxurious accommodations. What made our trip memorable is the amazing hospitality and service of Kyla, the Guest Relations supervisor, and the hotel team. Kyla surprised my spouse with a nice birthday setup in our room. She provided very helpful information on what to do and where to go in the city. She was very warm, helpful, professional and compassionate. The hotel team was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. We will definitely come back to Al Habtoor when we visit Budapest and we highly recommend this place. For nine years, we have continuously returned and stayed at this hotel in Budapest, multiple times each year. I can genuinely say that, by now, it feels like our second home, thanks to the wonderful hotel team. From the moment we arrive, the bellmen, all true gentlemen, greet us warmly and are always ready to help with our luggage or arrange a cab. The front desk team is incredibly kind, attentive and always eager to help. And I can’t forget about the concierge team: Fruzsi, Ákos, and István. Trust me, after so many stays, whenever we’ve needed a doctor, car rental, tailor, tickets, and so much more, we’ve received quick help from the kindest and most professional people. Thank you! I can’t forget to mention how lovely the hotel’s architecture is! The rooms are bright, clean, and spacious. The dining area has a stunning cupola that is truly remarkable. It’s definitely worth a visit, even if it’s just for a quick coffee. I truly can only say the best things about this hotel and the team. Love you all ❤️

We were welcomed with such professionalism and sincere hospitality, and what impressed us most was their attention to detail: the team mentioned they were expecting us and even noted that our flight had been delayed by an hour. That level of care immediately made us feel valued and looked after. The room was exceptional in every way. Beautifully designed, spacious, and thoughtfully prepared. The bed and pillows were unbelievably comfortable, giving us deep, restful sleep every night. The balcony was a highlight—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for quiet mornings or relaxing evenings. The bathroom was elegant and spotless, and we truly appreciated the added comfort of a bidet in the toilet—small details that make a big difference. The location is ideal. Central and perfectly positioned—many of Budapest’s most famous pedestrian walking streets and attractions are just a short stroll away, which made exploring the city effortless and enjoyable. What truly elevates this hotel, though, is the service and management. They were consistently responsive, attentive, and quick to act. Any request—no matter how small—was handled swiftly and with genuine care. It honestly felt like we were the only guests in the hotel, with everything adjusted seamlessly to our comfort. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, healthy, and beautifully presented, with great variety and quality that set us up perfectly for the day. Al Habtoor Palace Budapest delivers luxury with heart. We left feeling grateful, refreshed, and already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended for anyone who wants not just a hotel stay—but a truly memorable experience.

Fabulous stay here last weekend! The staff is amazing from the moment you drive up to the bartender to the spa lady who shows you around! Just top top notch! Amazing spa actually for a hotel proper 80+ degree dry sauna and excellent steam, the bar is wonderful even ran into a celebrity. Prime location and just everything was really well done. I shall return!

Excellent, high-quality hotel! Our stay was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful, respectful, and welcoming. The facilities were top-notch, and we truly enjoyed our time here. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, and exceptionally clean. Overall, a high-quality experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Rooms were nice, formally the ritz Carlton . Great location. Easy walking to all the Christmas markets and the ferris wheel. Rooms were spacious, beds a little soft, pillows nice, bathrooms good size. Shower and tub. A little noisy as you can hear the park outside and the trains rumbling beneath, but nothing that kept me awake. Definitely a great place to stay. 3rd floor was a little noisy. I’d stay again on a higher floor. Good spa as well, steam and sauna were satisfactory.

We had an amazing stay! The room is spacious and comfy! All toiletries available without asking, the Bidet (shattaf) was the best part!! The staff were super sweet and helpful (Istevan concierge, Daniel reception, Mona at the buffet and many more but can't remember the names). The hotel is in q great location, close to everything. We even met the General Manager Mr. Rahim who was so welcoming and courteous to escort us all the way to our car! The highlight of our stay was meeting the man behind it all Mr. Khalaf Al Habtoor and he was so humble that he even took a picture with us! This was an unforgettable stay and will surely come back again!
