The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai was beyond extraordinary and something we would highly recommend! The service is exactly how you would expect it from such a hotel, genuine, warm, and personal. The hotel is very family friendly, even the standard room is very big, they have a big playground, a wonderful kids pool and the staff really gave our son the feeling that he is more than welcomed. Since you don’t need to think of anything and everything is taken care of, you can really enjoy your vacation as a family. Big thanks to Philip and Shiva at the pool, who always provided us with water, towels and ice cream, Intan, Muthyam, and Karan from house keeping, who made an excellent job in keeping our room tidy as well as all the remaining staff members that made sure we have a wonderful stay. It’s location in Dubai Marina is really nice too! While the hotel itself is rather tranquil with a massive private beach, it’s also only a few minutes away from the JBR Walk, allowing you to go exploring the city, go shopping or having dinner somewhere else. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and although their are tempting alternatives, we would definitely choose to stay here again!

We absolutely love this hotel!! The service and the staff, they call them Ladies and Gentlemen are exceptional!||||We had a beautiful ocean view suite with Club Lounge access. The room was clean, luxurious, spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping (Vijay, Dino & Santa) were so helpful to my needs, I loved the bed decorations and towel animals that they created.||||The Half Board Dine Around is a great scheme which we like, meaning you can eat at a large choice of restaurants. The Ritz has several beautiful restaurants which we have enjoyed, plus you can also go to other nearby Marriott properties for dinner.|| ||The good thing about the Ritz is that you are in the hub-bub of JBR and the marina, but the Ritz has the largest section of private beach on JBR (400m I believe). So, it has never felt crowded and busy to me, but if you walk 30 mins up to The Address Hotel, oh dear, it is awfully crowded up there. And the Ritz Security keeps an eye on the Ritz section.||||One of the best things about the hotel is the Club Lounge, we have visited the hotel previously and we love seeing many of the same staff, warmly welcoming us back. We adore Albert, Sylvester, Darwin and Mamta. The food is delicious in the Lounge and the chefs are helpful if you have any special requests. It is also one of the best Club Lounges we have been to in Dubai. Brian, the Assistant Club Lounge Manager is amazing, he couldn’t do enough to assist us.||||The Concierge desk is also great, Mil gives great advice, info and helps with our restaurant bookings and Dine Around Vouchers.||||I love it that you often find one of the management team available in the Reception area, they make you feel so welcome and have time for their guests, Robert and Jeroen are brilliant and really made our holiday special. We very much hope to return.

We had a great 6 nights staying at your hotel. Our room was amazingly large and comfortable with lovely view.|I have never stayed in hotel room with so much cupboard and shelf space. It was so convenient. |The resturants were superb and serve excellent food.|The club lounge was great and the staff so nice polite and helpful. 5 star price, 3 star service – if even 3. We stayed 6 nights in this hotel, and already in the first days it was clear the service is not on the level of the high price and big name. The service was inconsistent, not personal, and many times we felt the staff is just not interested. Many employees didn’t say hello, didn’t look at us, and we started to feel like we are invisible. Sometimes it felt like we should be “happy” just to be here, not like real guests. At the buffet there was a charge that was not explained or communicated to us. They removed it from the bill and said sorry, but it looked like this should “fix” everything. Later there were more bill issues, and we didn’t even say anything anymore because we were tired to check every bill in a 5 star hotel. The communication was sometimes rude and not respectful, and absolutely not what you expect from a 5 star place. Also the internet was very weak and unstable, which is strange for a hotel in this price level. Maybe the most important thing: we felt good only when we were not in the hotel. That already tells the whole story. From a 5 star international brand you expect professionalism, attention and real hospitality. Sadly, we didn’t get this here. The name promises luxury, but for us this was maximum a weak 3 star experience – if even that. We will not come back.

absolutely the right decision for a city trip to Dubai. very classical hotel with outstanding friendly staff. room to garden-/seaside large totally quiet. if you don‘t like endless elevator travels its perfect, just 4 floors, short ways to all hotel facilities. We recommend the halfboard option, you can choose between lunch or dinner, at the hotel you have several restaurants, we liked LaBaie for lunch the most. Or make use of 120 options of the marriot dine around program. We choosed a voucher of 150 AER per person which we used in marriot at the palm „above eleven“ rooftop. The location of the Ritz Carlton hotel in Dubai is suberb. Taxi infront of door. Several restaurants around, Marina Bay in 20 min walking distance. Really nice pool and beach area with towel service, free water. Allover a stay without any critics, simply excellent in this price category, no doubt to choose Ritz Carton again when traveling to Dubai 👍🏻

Our stay was truly unforgettable thanks to the amazing, friendly and attentive staff. The service stood out in every way, especially from Lloyd, Andy and Ivan! Their personal touch, warm approach and genuine care (for both us and our two little sons) made our experience special. The hotel has a charming traditional and classic atmosphere, creating a warm and elegant setting. The restaurants has delicious food, good wines and excellent cocktails. We will definitely choose Ritz Carlton for our future trips!

One of the most enjoyable experiences we have had at any hotel. The Ritz Carlton JBR was simply incredible and encompasses what true customer relations is all about. The hotel it self is lovely in the perfect location be it beach access or to walk and explore JBR walk. All amenities you need for a luxurious adult holiday yet the team also massively go over and above to cater for your little children. Food was excellent, service on top form and hotel just lovely! This was our third stay in Dubai and typically like to try new hotels every time on any holiday but now we are torn. Why change! What is clear here is that staffing on all levels take care and pride in representing The Ritz-Carlton brand to the highest degree. Security, Maids, Restaurant staff, Reservations and Senior management made us feel as though we are their only clients. That's a special feeling. We can not thank you enough for giving us such an enjoyable stay and look forward to seeing you all again sometime soon.
