The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya

Nestled in the bustling marina, the Ritz is a island of calm and elegance. As a platinum member with two rooms reserved, they upgraded me to a two bedroom, 3 bathroom suite with a large balcony and excellent view of Tel Aviv and the marina. It was great. I can honestly say that the staff throughout the hotel made every effort to make our stay more comfortable. I would usually single out someone but truly, from the concierge staff on the ground floor, through reception , the dining room, housekeeping and the pool, we received excellent and polite service. The pool on the roof deck is smallish but if not full, allowed for decent lengths for swimming. The start and ends of the day were least busy. The breakfast was great. Chefs making individualised egg and pancake selections followed by a myriad of delicacies and tastes. It truly set me up for the day. A great touch is the concierge having towels and water in a bag ready for those going to the beach (a 5 minute walk away). All in all, a great stay. They will face competition from the new 5 star hotels being built across the marina but this remains a top class venue, well worth the stay.

The Ritz-Carlton Herzliya has a great location by the marina, but the maintenance is disappointing. Rooms look tired, furniture is worn, and cleanliness isn’t at the expected luxury level. Service is slow and not always friendly, and the overall sense of elegance is gone. Breakfast is basic for the price. A hotel that once felt premium but is no longer well maintained or worth the cost.

I stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya for one night, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of what I expected from a five-star hotel — especially one under the Ritz-Carlton name. When I arrived, there was no doorman or staff outside to assist with my luggage or greet me. No one offered help or direction, and it took me a few minutes just to find the check-in desk on my own. That already set the tone for what turned out to be a very disappointing experience. At check-in, I was told my room wasn’t ready — even though it was already past the official check-in time. They said it would be 15–20 minutes. When I came back after that time, I was told my room was ready, but when I went upstairs, it had only one bed, even though I had specifically reserved a room with two beds. When I returned to the front desk, they said they had given me an upgrade. I explained that I didn’t need an upgrade — I needed the correct room. They told me to wait another hour. In the end, I only received my room about two hours after check-in time, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this level. The hotel itself also did not live up to the Ritz-Carlton standards I’ve come to expect. The layout was confusing, the elevator had a bad odor and was not clean, and when I got to my room, the balcony was dirty and the refrigerator cabinet handle was broken. On top of that, there was no 24-hour room service, which was another major letdown. Overall, this was not the experience I expected from The Ritz-Carlton. The service, cleanliness, and organization were all lacking. I hope management takes this feedback seriously — because the hotel has potential and a great location, but it’s not currently living up to the luxury and service standards that define the Ritz-Carlton brand.

One of the best spa experiences ever!|The first time I visited the Spa at the Ritz-Carlton Herzliya was for a work retreat, and from the very first moment, Victoria made it exceptional. She personally took care of our booking, gave us a lovely tour, and checked in on us throughout the day to make sure everything was perfect.||The spa itself is beautiful—quiet, spotless, relaxing, and truly professional. We didn’t want to leave! A few weeks later, I came back with a friend for her birthday, and once again Victoria went above and beyond, anticipating every need and making us feel completely pampered. My friend said it was the best spa experience she’s ever had—and I couldn’t agree more.||Victoria is outstanding, and the entire team was also warm, attentive, and wonderful. I can’t recommend the Spa at the Ritz-Carlton Herzliya highly enough. Ask for Victoria—you’ll be treated like royalty.

Truly the best of the best! The service and attention to detail is top notch and absolutely what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel/resort. |David at the front desk, Olga at breakfast, housekeepers, Concierge — EVERYONE IS SO NICE AND TRULY WONDERFUL! ||I am an Ambassador elite and travel a lot. This property is easily one of my favorites. My room was upgraded to a corner deluxe and it seriously felt like a suite. Large, spacious and ridiculously comfortable. I slept like a baby! ||Treat yourself and stay here - you’ll thank me later!

This is NOT up to Ritz standards, and I'd recommend a site-visit by Ritz corporate!||This was built in 2013; I had to review that because I was shocked at the poor entrance; far from grand, it feels like the servant's entrance. But you have to work with what you got so you'd think the outside would be spotless, but it was constantly (over 5 days) filthy! They even would park construction cranes in front. The debris was insane, and I haven't even stepped inside. Wouldn't kill you to put some seats to wait for taxis outside because there isn't any inside! Speaking of inside, when you get to the door, there is, appropriately, a guard that sits inside at a podium. Not once did they open the door for us. It was a running joke of, "no, don't get up!"||All the rooms have partial sea view, is what the front desk said, when we checked in! Our room had a view of an archeological dig and if you went out on the balcony, stood on one leg, closed one eye and cracked your neck, with a full moon, you'd see, partially, the sea!||Oy, the room! The halls were musty! USB plugs were great to have next to your bed, though they were inoperable! The shower had no natural or electric light so at night, even with the bathroom lights on, it was dark! The vertical tiles were misaligned, and you could see down to the cracked drain. The shower door squeegee at the bottom that is supposed to make it watertight, was too low to the ground to allow you to place a towel at the foot of the shower but not low enough to keep the water in. There was mold at the junction of the wall and the shower door and the water that poured out made the granite a slip and slide! The toilet has those dual flush system, low flush and high flush buttons, like in Europe; the low flush was inoperable!||Went up to the pool and the lounges were filthy! Nuf said!||C'mon, there has to be something good here? Yes, two things, staff and location! Pavel was a great bartender who went above and beyond. Shachar, at the front desk, should be promoted to manager! He'd have all of the above addressed within weeks! Find him and promote him! If you're lucky to get a marina-view, you're in for a treat! The mall below is great to hang out. Acadia beach is great to the North and there is another beach, equidistant, to the South!||There! Finished on a positive note! Tada! (or is it Todah!)

Great location and got upgraded to a suite. Rooms are very comfortable |Delicious breakfast Saturday morning |The rooftop pool is much too small for such a large hotel. Pool was very crowded and hard to find a seat. A hotel of this caliber and size should have another pool.

We had a fantastic and relaxing stay at the Ritz. The location is ideal—close to everything yet peaceful—and the amenities lived up to the high standards you'd expect from the Ritz. The spa was a real highlight: quiet, well-run, and truly relaxing. Overall, a great experience and one we'd happily repeat.
