My experience at The Ritz Carlton Jeddah fell short of expectations. I had reserved two sea view rooms with a clear request for high floor placement. Upon arrival, one room wasn’t ready which I understood, but both rooms assigned were on the lowest floor of the sea view category. Despite multiple calls and a visit to the front desk, no real effort was made to address the issue or find a reasonable compromise. I was told that the higher floor rooms were “reserved,” which made me feel dismissed rather than valued as a paying guest. The next day, after repeated follow-ups, I was offered a complimentary drink at the lounge which felt like an inadequate response. Adding to the disappointment, I had to argue to secure a late check out, a courtesy most hotels of this caliber offer more willingly. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff were very professional, proactively cleaning the rooms and ensuring they were well stocked with drinking water. Overall, I expected a higher level of professionalism and guest care from a hotel of this reputation. I won’t be repeating my stay at any Ritz Carlton property
