The Ritz-Carlton, Koh Samui

My husband and I were here to celebrate my birthday and honeymoon. I had an exceptional dining experience at The View Dining at Ritz Carlton. The chef's - Mr White masterful culinary creations were truly a delight, each dish prepared with precision and creativity. The servers especially shouting out to - Point and Beauty provided impeccable service, attending to every detail with professionalism and grace. Thank you for making us the meal unforgettable!

This hotel really has it all. After some extensive research on where we should stay when visiting this beautiful island, I am so happy we decided to stay at this beautiful place. The rooms are huge and clean, amazing facilities all around. The location is amazing. We had stayed at a different hotel for the first part of our journey and then decided to finish our vacation with a relaxing stay here. This was the best choice because we did not want to leave the resort at all. There was so much to do that it was a perfect place to just completely unwind (fantastic spa, gym, huge pool with comfortable beds, organized events every second day, etc.). The amazing restaurants around the resort with extraordinary food, (pop-up) restaurants on multiple days a week at different locations with on the last night an amazing dinner ON the beach. We also celebrated my birthday here and the hotel went above and beyond to make this day extra special for me! Thank you so much for giving us an unforgettable experience and we actually want to come back as soon as possible. The Ladies and Gentlemen at this hotel were simply the friendliest staff you will ever see at a hotel!

My recent stay at Ritz Ko Samui was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled amidst the pristine beauty of Koh Samui, this resort is a haven of luxury and tranquility.From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was flawless, from arranging transportation to providing personalized recommendations for activities on the island.The accommodations were simply stunning. Our villa boasted breathtaking views of the ocean, complete with a private infinity pool and spacious terrace where we could unwind and soak in the tropical ambiance. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings was evident, creating an a**osphere of refined elegance and comfort.One of the highlights of our stay was the culinary experience at the resort’s restaurants. From delectable Thai cuisine to international delights, each dish was expertly prepared using the freshest ingredients. Dining under the stars at the beachfront restaurant was a particular highlight, with the sound of the waves complementing the exquisite flavors.The facilities at Ritz Ko Samui are equally impressive. Whether lounging by the infinity pool overlooking the sea, indulging in a rejuvenating spa trea**ent, or exploring the lush gardens and private beach, there was no shortage of ways to relax and unwind.Overall, our time at Ritz Ko Samui exceeded all expectations. It’s the perfect destination for those seeking a luxurious escape in paradise. I can’t wait to return and experience the magic of this beautiful resort once again.

Arrived at Koh samui extremely early (about 8-9am). Ritz informed us that the rooms were not available yet but they were cleaning it and would let us check in as early as we could. In the meantime, during the wait, they offered free breakfast buffet. The service was impeccable! The hotel is huge so they offer buggy services to every location within the hotel. There is also complimentary shuttle bus to the Chaweng area (but not Fisherman village area). Spent 2 nights there and it was so comfortable. Buffet spread was great in variety and taste. Our rooms were located at the 3rd level so we had some exercise climbing (no lift) every time we returned, so those with issues may want to request a ground floor (but the views are worth it).

This is by far the best resort we have ever stayed in, and we’ve stayed in a few. ||Why? ||Attention to detail, the clever design of the resort, location, the attentive and highly professional staff (always smiling), the quality of the food (breakfast is simply awesome as almost every culinary taste is catered for) and the way the management dealt with an issue with our room and the fact the main pool was sadly closing for refurbishment on day 2 of a 10 day stay. That all paled into insignificance by the way it was dealt with in the most professional way, and we were very grateful to them. ||I cannot praise this resort enough. ||And finally, the staff are the shining lights here. It would be unfair to name names, but you know who you are. You made us feel like royalty. Our heartfelt thanks and we wish you all success. ||We will return.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been nicer, they made our honeymoon so special. Specifically Sunny he was always on hand to help with anything we needed. He booked dinner reservation, sorted out our check out and made everything so much easier for us which meant we could properly relax.

The hotel met the upper standard with its attentive staffs and services. Breakfast buffet has a large selection that should satisfy all walks of life from Thai breakfast to Indian food. Swimming pool was a bit run down with broken tiles and sometimes sharp edges are found. However, pool staffs are helpful and attentive. For some reason, this resort is targeted more for families including toddlers and children which we don’t expect. But with the appealing surroundings and nice restaurants, it’s generally found it enjoyable.

I stayed at this resort in February at peak season, and overall it was a great experience. The staff is amazing and very friendly. They provided their services for every single request I had during my stay in a timely and friendly fashion. The room was one of the best I’ve ever stayed at; very well designed and spacious with great amenities. My only complaint about the room was that the media components were quite outdated; no smart TV and the speakers were low quality — I would expect this as a prerequisite at any 5-star resort and it wasn’t the case here. You can walk to the pool, beach and breakfast areas but they also have buggies available with minimal wait times in case you want to avoid walking in the hot weather. Amazing views from the room as well as the lobby for sunset. That said, some of the public spaces looked poorly maintained/built and this was surprising since this is a fairly new resort. Breakfast was okay, not amazing but not bad and it had a lot of variety. From the restaurants, I only tried The Ranch and Tides by the pool and both left me a bit disappointed with the quality given the price point. Overall, I think this is one of the better resorts in Samui and if you book early you can find good deals. Recommended.
