From the moment we arrived at the resort, we were treated wonderfully by the staff. They took care of us at every opportunity and were always on hand to assist in any way we needed. Our room (two bedroom terrace suite) was beautiful, clean and spacious and had just about everything we could have wanted. Room service was superb, the staff were exceptional in making our stay truly special. The resort facilities were amazing, plenty to do and to keep us occupied during our stay. The pool facilities were great, clean and safe. The range of restaurants in the resort is great, in particular The View was exceptional in terms of service and quality. Overall, our stay (7 nights) was a wonderful experience. It was made all the more special by the staff who took such great care of us.

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton was the start of a dream vacation to celebrate our retirement. Prior to our arrival we were already treated like honored guests through the communication from guest services to ensure our needs were anticipated and met. We were picked up from the airport in a beautiful and luxurious shuttle and within minutes were in the guest reception area of the Ritz Carlton enjoying a royal welcome and beautiful view. When we arrived to our room there was a special recognition of our retirement and we felt like we were with life long friends. From the reception to the restaurants to the buggy drivers to the guest services to the excursions to house keeping we were amazed at the service and kindness. ||Special appreciation is offered to Ton, who was our buggy driver on more than one occasion. He took the time to learn about my wife and I and made a personal connection with us that was more than the expected hospitality you receive at a resort. His kindness was exemplary and goes beyond what is expected of staff when they serve guests. Thank you to him in particular. ||We cannot thank the team enough for everything and wholeheartedly recommend the Ritz Carlton Koh Samui to anyone looking to create memories to last a lifetime.

We visit Thailand every year, and this year we came to The Ritz-Carlton to celebrate our son Ari’s first birthday – and I have to say, this hotel is on a whole different level: perfect and flawless. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and offer breathtaking views. It’s a resort with endless opportunities for enjoyment – from the pool to the spa and a huge kids’ club filled with games! The service and staff are so kind, respectful, and attentive. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in! We stayed a week in an ocean front villa in March 25. While the pool villa was beautiful the rest of the resort was disappointing. The bed was ROCK hard, the most uncomfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. We had two mattress toppers and mountains of pillows but it was a nightmare. Breakfast is a free for all in a horrible room more like a cheap holiday camp. We avoided after first day and ate in our villa or off site. The staff are very friendly. Note that this is a huge resort so be prepared to wait around for golf carts whenever you want to go somewhere and when you return to the hotel. You cannot walk around the resort it’s too steep and distances too far. It has great potential but these areas need addressing. Unfortunately we won’t be returning until changes have been made.

I visited Samui for my best friend’s wedding and chose to stay at here, knowing from past travels that the Ritz always upholds its world-class standards. Yesterday morning, on my way back to my room after breakfast, one of the kindest team members (I regret not asking her name) created a moment I will never forget. She checked my room number, smiled warmly, and wished me “Happy Birthday” in Chinese — then again in English. I was completely surprised, as I had even forgotten it was my birthday! To make it even more special, this thoughtful moment was captured at the end of a video I was recording while riding the buggy back and admiring the beautiful hotel views. Walking back to my room at night was pure joy — it felt like stepping into a dream. After so many years in the concrete jungle, I had almost forgotten what it was like to be surrounded by a starry sky and the gentle chorus of insects. The summer night sky brought me back to my childhood, when gazing at countless stars above was one of life’s simplest and most precious moments. Having worked in hospitality for many years, I know that true service is not only about smooth arrivals, elegant facilities, or polite greetings. The real difference comes from people — from genuine warmth, attention to detail, and small gestures that create a deep connection. This trip was already so meaningful as I came to celebrate my best friend’s wedding, and this birthday surprise made it even more memorable. A simple “Happy Birthday” turned an ordinary morning into a memory I will always cherish. I want to sincerely thank the wonderful lady who made that moment so special, as well as the operations team behind the scenes who care so much about details and consistently deliver with heart. It is gestures like these that transform a stay into something unforgettable, and it’s the reason I will always look forward to returning.

The room was thoughtfully laid out with plush bedding, high-end amenities, and floor-to-ceiling windows that let the natural beauty shine in. Everything felt fresh, peaceful, and indulgent.The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure every part of our stay was perfect. Whether it was housekeeping, room service, or the concierge, everyone went above and beyond with a smile. Even small requests were handled quickly and with care.The breakfast was delicious and diverse. We enjoyed every meal at the on-site restaurant, which offered a mix of local specialties and international favorites. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with something for every palate.The hotel offers everything you need to relax and enjoy. The pool area is gorgeous and peaceful, the spa is serene and expertly run, and the lounge spaces are inviting and stylish. Fast Wi-Fi, great fitness facilities, and excellent room service rounded out the experience.The Ritz Carlton Koh Samui is the kind of place to remember long after you've checked out. It’s perfect for a getaway. With its unbeatable views, warm service, and luxury comforts, it’s easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had! 🫶🏼

We arrived at the Ritz Carlton yesterday and had a concern about the location of the room offered to us. The manager on duty Ruben could not have been more helpful. He drove us around to find us the perfect room. An absolute gentleman. nothing was too much trouble. Only young and I can see him going a long way in the hospitality business.
