The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi

The best hospitality I’ve received! My girls and I had an unforgettable 3D2N birthday vacay at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi this June 2025. The resort itself was stunning, but what truly made our trip special was the impeccable hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Sara M, our wonderful butler, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Miraj and Fauzi from housekeeping also deserve a special mention for their attentiveness and warm service. Their genuine care and professionalism truly elevated our experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious and personalised getaway.

Our experience at the Ritz Carlton Langkawi was nothing short of a magical experience! The villa, cuisine, amenities, spa, staff and property all contributed to a 5 star stay. We loved all of our time here and are so privileged to have been cared for by such a dedicated staff.|Special thanks to the butler team for Villa 3, including Sara, our housekeeping team (Megah), spa therapists (especially Alyssa!), and the dining team (Azza, Christina) to name a few for making our anniversary trip so memorable. Everyone at the property works so hard to ensure your stay is tailored to your special needs. Fine touches, such as a relaxing bath, special sweets, a token of appreciation or a bookmark for our books, were abundant and so wonderfully thought out during our time. |Our villa was spacious, perfectly stocked, well air conditioned and boasted beautiful views of the sea. Having an attentive butler team at the ready, a buggy always prepared to usher us around the property, or organizing our offsite trip to the mangroves was done with expert efficiency and politeness. The offsite tour was wonderful and very much recommended. Any requests or needs were addressed swiftly.|The varied dining options were plentiful, included fresh food, expertly crafted cocktails and never a need to leave the property.|The spa treatments were top notch, and after three days of various services, each better than the last, including the Mandi Bunga experience (highly recommended) to round out a week of pampering! |Various amentities around the property included an adults only pool, a beautiful fitness center, sunset cocktails at Horizon and a beach attended to by an ever smiling staff. |From start to finish our stay was truly a paradise and it shines from the dedication and pride of our wonderful friends at the Ritz Carlton Langkawi. Location is lovely with all the wild animals roaming around. The grey monkeys are a treat to observe. We managed to see many baby monkeys as well. Azizul & Aizat (pool team) were incredible. They made our stay that much more pleasant. The attention to detail makes this five star hotel just that much better. The views are stunning. Pity kids can’t use the infinity pool. Otherwise an amazing stay.

We had an amazing time at Ritz Carlton Langkawi, the private villa with its own pool was pure luxury – clean, spacious, and incredibly peaceful. ||The service was top-notch. Sara & the team went above and beyond, always attentive but never intrusive. We especially appreciated the thoughtful local tips, which helped us discover some hidden gems around the area.||The beverages and in-villa dining were excellent – beautifully presented and full of flavour. Whether we were relaxing by the pool or enjoying sunset drinks, everything was just perfect.||Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a private, relaxing getaway with world-class service. Can’t wait to return!

Our 2 nights stay with my husband at the facility was nothing short of amazing. The service level is a 10/10. Every staff we met was extremely friendly and accomodative. Amazing Customer service is a great culturw in every staff member. Our housekeeper (Azia and Ashok) kept these sweet notes coming with thoughtful gestures such as preparing the bath for us. The food in all the restaurants is really amazing but the chili prawns at the Horizon restaurant was my favourite. The location is great, not too far from the airport and the resort is literally in the very natural Langkawi habitat. No dissapointments at all! We have to bring our kids to experience this Gem.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the Ritz Carlton Langkawi and we had the best, most relaxing time. The junior rainforest suite is the perfect size, very well decorated and cosy. Service was excellent, especially in the restaurants. We dined in the resort for every meal and the food quality from all the restaurants were amazing. The spa was highly recommended and we were lucky to book the 2 last slots for the day. We left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed, it was amazing. The property is one of the best that we have visited so far in Southeast Asia, with the grounds kept extremely well. We look forward to be back again!

Amazing service and helpful staff. The amenities were 10/10. Langkawi Kitchen and staff… immaculate. We had the Indian cuisine two nights in a row because of how good it was. Breakfast is lovely, lots of different options. Overall experience was spectacular!

An exceptional hotel and resort that exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff go out of their way to help you, and the service makes you feel special. The room was beautiful, big and felt secluded and romantic. The facilities were excellent and felt well spaced-out and having separate pools for adults and children seemed to be effective. The food was delicious and the variety of breakfast options was impressive. The experience felt luxurious and the few days spent here were like paradise.

We had the best stay at this place EVER!!!!!!! If you are a fan of resorts please reserve this place for your stay. It's completely serene peaceful and relaxing. We went during holidays for Christmas and it was one of the best experiences I have had. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient and you can reach the place in two wheeler. Very accessible. The resort has fake tigers all over to scare away the monkeys Please must visit

Perfect location for a romantic get-away. The beach was clean and inviting. The adult pool cool and refreshing. The food was excellent and the staff was available at all times. Rooms were large and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. Massage and other services excellent. You will certainly feel like you are in the jungle living in style; they make you feel so comfortable and welcome. Despite a storm that hit while we were there, it was cleaned up within hours. Amazing staff! Highly recommend for a stay in Langkawi.

I sent summer 2019 here with my in laws, beyond our expectations. Service was amazing and super clean. Anything you need you can find within the room- all you need to pack for this trip is clothing! Room was deep cleaned every day throughout our 5 day stay. On multiple occasions we came to our clothes folded that we had forgotten to put in our closet. They go above and beyond and update the local fruit bowl in our rooms daily. I can easily justify the price for our stay. Planning to revisit langkawi ritz Carlton once restrictions lift again!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Ritz Carlton resort in Langkawi. We came in June which is low season for the island, so we pretty much for the place to ourselves. The service is personalized and all the staff are very attentive. I would like to commend Ellen who personally made us feel very welcome. Thank you to Stephanie who made sure all our needs were met for us to have the best stay possible. And to friendly Khimpee at the Horizon bar whom we had a great conversation with while enjoying the sunset.  It was unfortunate that the phone lines were out of service during our stay which made it inconvenient to call a buggy and go from place to place. As well as the air-conditioning in our room malfunctioning middle of the night. However the Ritz Carlton team was always on their toes, ready to resolve the issues quickly.
