The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne

This is one of the best hotels in the world. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and immaculate--the views are absolutely incredible. The building is beautiful and the location is fantastic. My wife was sick much of this trip and, without asking, the team sent up chicken soup and tea. The property, rooms, and amenities are simply breathtaking. The pool, on the 64th floor, looks over the entire city. I truly will never forget this stay and plan to come back ASAP. This is the ultimate city oasis hotel.

we went for High tea at Ritz Carlton and was blown away by the exceptional service delivered by Nami. She was very thorough and professional in taking care of our table. the savoury and sweet for the high tea was truly incredible, it had exceeded our expectations. shout out to the kitchen staff for delivering a wonderful experience. 10/10 will come back for another great experience!

I've stayed here four times. The first was perfect. During the second, we had some issues with room service. During the third stay, those issues were rectified and compensated for. The fourth stay was perfect again. ||||This is a fabulous hotel. It's like staying in a sanctuary. The service is very friendly and personalised - far more personalised and genuinely caring than the other big city hotels. I didn't get the sense that any of the staff were "phoning it in." ||||The decor is elegant, and the views are incredible. The in-room dining options are highly overpriced, but that is to be expected. Atria restaurant is excellent. ||||The spa areas are separated into men's and women's, with separate spa/sauna facilities for each sex. I like feeling relaxed and safe as a woman in female-only facilities, but if you want to enjoy a sauna with your opposite-sex partner, it might be a let-down. The actual spa tub is a square concrete tub that feels very Brutalist. The main hotel swimming pool is, of course, mixed-gender. It's calm and beautiful, although it could be warmer. ||||Overall, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Melbourne.

MISSING Course for Valentines Menu/ NO SERVICE/STAIN in ROOM/ NO REPLY in EMAIL I can’t believe all these things could happen in one night for a Five star hotel. I’ve send the email to the service experience team to raise all these concerns since 17th Feb. No one follow up. There is a lot more good hotels in Australia. Don’t waste your time and money here.

We had a fantastic stay at The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne. The hotel is ideally located for travelers arriving from outside the city—we rented a car from Sixt, and the return point was conveniently located just across the road inside Southern Cross Station. Spencer Outlet Mall is right across the street, and even Korean Town is within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with the lobby located on Level 80, offering breathtaking panoramic views. There’s a dedicated lift to the lobby, followed by another to access the rooms on lower floors. Our room was peaceful and beautifully appointed, with no noise disturbances and an incredible view of the city, sea, and distant mountains. We especially loved the preheated indoor swimming pool, the spacious layout of the room, and the thoughtful separation of the toilet from the main bathroom. A private walk-in space for luggage and wardrobe added a nice luxury touch. There were even books on the shelf for some quiet reading. Daily turndown service and a generous supply of bottled water were also much appreciated. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay. The hotel also offers a club lounge service for an extra $500 per person, though we didn’t opt in. Overall, the experience was calm, convenient, and elegant.

Solid experience here overall. Absolutely stunning property, fantastic views (forget Melbourne skydeck, just come here!). Rooms are modern and relatively spacious, and the breakfast is pretty good. Service is good, the ritz Carlton standard we all have come to expect. The two drawbacks we had staying here were as follows— Firstly the concierge seemed a little incompetent at times. Laura at the concierge was lovely. But when we asked them to sort out tickets for us, we got to the venue to discover they did not deliver the tickets properly to us (over ticketmaster). They sent us the confirmation , but not the tickets themselves!! We are obviously busy, and these details are what concierges should be handling, without issues. We were sat outside Melbourne park for 20 minutes waiting for concierge to send us our tickets. Not good at all. Secondly, the spa experience was a little underwhelming. Facilities and pool great, but did not receive robe + slippers, no dedicated relaxation area (or was I just not taken there??) etc— these would normally be standard at a 5* spa.

Absolutely stunning hotel floating at the top of Melbourne. I had such a great time at this hotel, I could have spent the whole day there if there wasn't so much else to do in Melbourne. Room was incredibly spacious and included a full sized table, a full sized dressing room, and a powder room. Amenities are awesome - gym is gorgeous, sauna and lockers are gorgeous, the lobby is gorgeous, just everything is gorgeous. Staff are super friendly and helpful too. I was having trouble with the height (the building is so tall and it was so windy that day) and some kind soul found me a Chemist Warehouse that was still open so I could grab some anti-nausea pills. Breakfast was very good but not included with Plat so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, especially when all the Melbourne coffee shops are such stiff competition.

An Unforgettable Experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne on Saturday night the 6th and Sunday the 7th of December, and we can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. From the very moment we arrived, the service was nothing short of exceptional. The concierge team was impeccable, greeting us with warmth and professionalism and personally escorting us up to the eighth floor to check in — an experience that set the tone for our entire stay. Every aspect of our visit was sensational: 🍽 Amazing food and drinks — each meal was beautifully prepared and delicious. 🍳 Breakfast service — consistently excellent with attentive staff and a wonderful selection. 🍫 Turn-down service — a lovely touch with chocolates on the bed that added to the sense of luxury and care. A massive shout-out to Tim, the Manager — his leadership and genuine hospitality were clear throughout our stay and made a real difference. The Ritz-Carlton team are clearly very well trained, professional, and truly focused on pleasing their guests. We felt welcomed, valued, and looked after from start to finish. Walking through the front doors, the delicious aroma immediately tells you you’re somewhere special. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was immaculate — from the lobby to our room, and especially the pool and spa areas, which were pristine and relaxing. There is truly nothing we could fault. Every moment was enjoyable, every team member was friendly and efficient, and every service was delivered with genuine care. Thank you so much to all the staff at The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne — you made our stay unforgettable. We will be back!
