The room cost $709. We were provided with a bottle of sparkling wine and a nice card. When we looked for the champagne glasses there weren't any provided. The air conditioning would not operate under 23 degrees all night. We didn't sleep because of this. Following morning, tried to make two coffees. No milk. All this for $709? Emailed the hotel with our complaint and we were told to book again and we will receive a free upgrade. Not good enough. I sent a response and have never heard back. Not worth $709. Go somewhere else. Waste of good money and dreadful customer service from management. We will never stay at the Ritz Carlton again.

Or stay at the Ritz was just magnificent. The Hotel its self was fabulous as you could expect. We received a very welcome upgrade to a magniicent room and view. But what made our stay special , was the extra effort put in by the taff in the touches to the room upon our arrival that made our 50th birthday celebrations, one that we will never forget. Thank yu to all the staff involed.

It’s pretty easy to get a sense of this hotel from the reviews - lovely location, nice rooms but truly variable service,||||This hotel is a great example with an hotel manager who is either overstretched or incompetent. The staff themselves are attentive and polite, but also not well trained in a market with no super luxury hotels.||||I had the misfortune of a leaky cistern and while the attending staff was prompt and polite, the service recovery from the management was appalling. I had to call the reception 5 times to change rooms, ending up on a lower floor with a worse view. Instead of an explanation which I’d requested several times from the manager, I was offered a complementary breakfast. I skipped this as fried eggs don’t make up for fecal water on the bathroom floor, repacking to move rooms and a lot of wasted time. ||||On arrival, the check-in was 20 minutes, and having a key card that didn’t work twice more, every wait was the same length as they typically have just one person at reception. With this quality time downstairs, I heard a lady complaining that her preschooler son had almost got knocked down by the bronze dividing door and the had raised to the management the safety issues several times before. Another was complaining about the wrong room broom charges. And so on. ||||If you are fortunate enough to avoid any problems during your stay, the Ritz is a nice enough hotel. ||||If however you choose to stay here for a special occasion you better hope you get lucky. Because it will be a time to remember for a long time if anything goes wrong on you stay. ||||Oh and if the hotel deigns to reply to this review, remember the time to fix things is during not days after the event.

Hotel staff were lovely. View from our room was lovely. Views were beautiful although we woke up to construction noises. For Ritz Carlton worldwide, this hotel stay was average. I have stayed at Crown towers before and I think it is way better than the Ritz from the lobby, to the rooms, to the spa (sorry for the comparison). We had a couple’s massage which was really good. The only annoying thing was the masseuse trying to sell us facial products. We didn’t show any interest but she kept bringing them over to us and would not stop talking. I am sure she meant well but We just wanted to relax after the massage. I would suggest they ask if guests would want a product presentation so you make a choice if you are interested.

A birthday I will remember. I stayed at Ritz for my birthday in one of the King Studios and I was very happy with the choice. You can tell how much effort had been put to make your stay memorable, comfortable and overall special. Loved that fact I even got a nail file - oh little things matter... The only thing that could have been improved was waiting time at the reception but that's if I am very picky. I live in Perth and even though I am a frequent visitor in this area, staying in such a nice place made it extra special and memorable. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs you could go for dinner that are 2-minute walk away. There is a slight weird feel to how the pool is positioned and joining the restaurant that can be used by general public but overall the pool and pool areas offers a beautiful view.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Perth. The room was beautiful and more importantly so were the staff. Neysha and her team went above and beyond all our expectations. Very grateful for such a lovely little break away and the service we received.

The Hotel is centrally located, and the Rooms are lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful, but there are just not enough staff to properly cater for the 5-star service that I have experienced at other Ritz hotels. We arrived at 2:40pm (check in is three). Valet took our vehicle and bags and completed our check in. My husband went down to the reception at 3:10pm to find our bags, he came back and advised that it was extremely busy with lines of people waiting to be served. At 3:40pm I contacted reception asking for our luggage, they said they were busy, and they would look into it. Really not good enough for a hotel of this reputation taking over an hour to delivery our bags. |we decided to go for drinks and food at the Songbird Bar and Lounge, as we were on the 9th floor and the bar was on the 5th floor we took the elevator to the 5th floor and walked into the pool area, the only access we could find to the bar was through a half glass door that said staff only. So, we went through then to be told by staff that no that was not the way in when questioning this we were told that we should have taken the elevator to the ground floor than taken the elevator back up to the 5th floor - seriously. Anyway, we were seated in chairs that were cracked and torn and quite uncomfortable to sit on. We ordered or first round and it took about 15 minutes to get our drinks. We then ordered food and another round of drinks whilst the food took about 3/4 hour the drinks took an hour and three different wait staff to ask where our drinks were. Once again not enough staff to properly cater to the needs of the clientele and furniture that you could leave on the street for kerb side collection, and no-one would take!

Wasn't worth what we paid for unfortunately. Room was beautiful and clean. Valet staff were very helpful. Was hoping for a small add on to room (petals or champaigne) after informing staff numerous times (via phone and email) leading up to my stay that I was getting married and spending the night. No one would answer phone. Turned away from bar and restaurant. Husband and I checked out early.

Yelp
Unfortunately the Ritz does not live up to its reputation. The décor is nice, the location great and the amenities are good but service is lacking for it to be anywhere near a 5 star service. Staying there for two night there were some minor headaches with billing as we had purchased a package but had been charged for singular nights resulting in our credit card being nearly charged twice as much as it should have. The disappointing part was when we arrived Saturday night to find our room had no running water. A phone call to the reception and all we got was "we will let the maintenance crew know" then conversation ended. No other communication was given after this and after 3 more attempted phone calls an hour later with not a reply i gave up on the matter. The next morning we had running "brown" water , with still no follow up from room service. We went for breakfast, then checked out. The staff were apologetic but by this time after not being able to shower or not a care from the staff the night before it was time to leave. Until the night staff are better trained and the general service is lifted i would not recommend staying here. A short walk away is the QT or a short taxi ride is the Crown Tower. Cheaper and much better options.

Yelp
The hotel is artfully decorated, and has a classy, but earthy vibe to it. Our room was the Langley Park Suite and it was well appointed with all the luxuries you'd expect from a 5 Luxury Hotel. The array  of wall mirrors added another dimension to compliment the magnificent view of the City, Langley Park & the Swan River. The Infinity Pool on level 5 was ideally placed to take in City Views, while enjoying the perfectly temperature controlled water that was crystal clear, or relaxing on the very comfortable chaise lounges provided.  When we checked in to our Suite there was a complimentary bottle of bubbly on ice along with some hand-crafted chocolates (compliments of the GM). The staff were well trained, and greeted each guest with a warm and genuine smile, eager to serve, jovial and very attentive. Special mention goes to the beautiful Reservations Manageress Alienor, who made our stay that much more special, and to the Concierge Milton, who was most efficient in having my car ready when needed, and to ensure our luggage was taken to and from our suite in a timely manner.
