The Ritz-Carlton, Perth

We flew five hours from Sydney and chose The Ritz-Carlton Perth to celebrate my birthday, and it became one of the most memorable hotel stays we’ve ever had. We spent two nights here before heading to Margaret River, and every moment felt thoughtful, seamless, and deeply considered. From the very first email greeting by General Manager Dario Osini, we felt genuinely welcomed. Service Experience Agent Alice Dinh curated dining and activity recommendations perfectly aligned with our interests, and we were delighted to receive an upgrade to a room with a breathtaking Swan River view. What truly set this stay apart was the team’s sincerity. The staff didn’t simply ask about our trip—they listened attentively and responded with sweet, thoughtful gestures that made us feel genuinely cared for and exceptionally well looked after throughout our stay. High tea and breakfast at Hearth Restaurant were outstanding, elevated by warm and attentive service from manager Haven and team members Hikaru and Hikari. A particularly touching gesture was the beautifully prepared picnic bag for our drive to Margaret River—an unexpected detail that spoke volumes about the team’s thoughtfulness. The experience ended on a perfect note when concierge Kashav, upon hearing about our onward journey, thoughtfully placed three bottles of mineral water in our car when we collected it from valet after checkout. This stay was defined by elegance, warmth, and impeccable attention to detail. The Ritz-Carlton Perth exemplifies true five-star hospitality, delivered by a team who clearly care beyond formality and take pride in creating meaningful, memorable experiences. Exceptional Stay – Truly Unforgettable Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Perth was absolutely amazing, and it started even before we arrived. The hospitality from the staff—especially Alice Dinh—was exceptional and genuinely made us feel welcomed and cared for. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Travelling with our 8-month-old son, we were incredibly grateful for the thoughtful touches she arranged, including a baby crib, bath toys, and nappy bins. It made the experience seamless and stress-free for our family. Our suite was stunning, with breathtaking views overlooking the Swan River and Elizabeth Quay. The room itself was luxurious, peaceful, and beautifully designed, we truly loved every moment there. Dinner at Hearth was a highlight of our stay. The five-course meal was nothing short of spectacular, and the complimentary dishes were an unexpected delight that had our mouths watering. The Taste of Hearth experience is something that has genuinely stayed with me, it was that memorable. Overall, our stay was truly amazing from start to finish, and we’ve already booked to return. We can’t wait to experience it all again. Highly recommended

Pleasantly suprised, hotel is lovely, lots of thoughtful touches everywhere, they really value their guests. The staff are incredible all round, everyone is relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. You can tell they enjoy working here. Oh, and the location is superb! Not to mention the breafast served is exceptional, the miso eggplant is delicious. Overall a great place to stay if visiting Perth.

From the moment we arrived at the front drop off, we were treated like royalty. Check in was smooth, and lady at desk was extremely friendly and so nice, she gave us a free room upgrade because it was my sons birthday, thank you so much for that. Room was immaculate, nice large bathroom with deep bath tub and nice hot shower. The whole hotel is just beautiful, and the view from our room was wonderful. Pool area is amazing, and bonus that the pool is heated. I look forward to return very soon, The Ritz Carlton is now my favourite perth hotel.

So I'm slowly working my way through all the stunning Ritz Carlton hotels and Perth is at the top of my list. Amazing staff, stunning rooms and beautiful location. While on your stay here make sure to ask Ha and Olivia at front desk for any advice on what and where to eat, drink and play. And now for the negativity, sucks I can only give five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Whilst visiting family in Perth we thought why not treat them to a special night away in a nice hotel. Well we underestimated "nice", from the moment we arrived at the door and greeted by the staff we knew this place would be something special. We were greeted with a glass of bubbles whilst we checked in. Bearing in mind we arrived around 1 p.m and check was not until 3 we did not expect the rooms to be ready but the very attentive and helpful staff soon had 1 room ready and the 2nd would be readied asap for us. The premium room with river view on lvl 10 took our breath away! what a stunning room with a magnificant view, it was ear to ear smiles all around. We headed to the rooftop pool and enjoyed a couple of hrs relaxing in the sun with more bubbles. Out stay was only 1 night but we all wished it was longer, we would very happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a classy, elegant and friendly hotel stay around Elizabeth quay.

We had a wonderful 2-night staycation to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We booked and prepaid a Premium Room, King Bed, River View. The booking (via Qantas Hotels) included resort credit, breakfast for two each morning, and free WIFI. Upon arrival at 12noon (a few hours early), the valet warmly welcomed us, parked our car and took care of our luggage. We managed to check in well ahead of the normal check-in time, which was wonderful. Amanda at the reception desk, looked after us and made us feel very special. We were also provided with an upgraded room from 11th floor to 13th floor with a nicer room with a better view. Our included credit of $60/day was explained how this can utilized.

What an unforgettable stay at The Ritz, Perth! Celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary (and a night without the kids) we were upgraded from a standard King Room to a City/Lizzy Quay view Studio Room which was incredible and complimentary sparkling on arrival was provided. The rooms are so thoughtfully designed and decorated, a special mention to the flexibility of the blinds and sheer curtains meant we could enjoy the view any time of the day without the sun being too harsh. Service with requested crockery/cutlery was prompt and we enjoyed some wine and cheese in our room pre-dinner. A stunning experience and so lovely to be in the heart of Perth city. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Unfortunately the Ritz does not live up to its reputation. The décor is nice, the location great and the amenities are good but service is lacking for it to be anywhere near a 5 star service. Staying there for two night there were some minor headaches with billing as we had purchased a package but had been charged for singular nights resulting in our credit card being nearly charged twice as much as it should have. The disappointing part was when we arrived Saturday night to find our room had no running water. A phone call to the reception and all we got was "we will let the maintenance crew know" then conversation ended. No other communication was given after this and after 3 more attempted phone calls an hour later with not a reply i gave up on the matter. The next morning we had running "brown" water , with still no follow up from room service. We went for breakfast, then checked out. The staff were apologetic but by this time after not being able to shower or not a care from the staff the night before it was time to leave. Until the night staff are better trained and the general service is lifted i would not recommend staying here. A short walk away is the QT or a short taxi ride is the Crown Tower. Cheaper and much better options.

The hotel is artfully decorated, and has a classy, but earthy vibe to it. Our room was the Langley Park Suite and it was well appointed with all the luxuries you'd expect from a 5 Luxury Hotel. The array  of wall mirrors added another dimension to compliment the magnificent view of the City, Langley Park & the Swan River. The Infinity Pool on level 5 was ideally placed to take in City Views, while enjoying the perfectly temperature controlled water that was crystal clear, or relaxing on the very comfortable chaise lounges provided.  When we checked in to our Suite there was a complimentary bottle of bubbly on ice along with some hand-crafted chocolates (compliments of the GM). The staff were well trained, and greeted each guest with a warm and genuine smile, eager to serve, jovial and very attentive. Special mention goes to the beautiful Reservations Manageress Alienor, who made our stay that much more special, and to the Concierge Milton, who was most efficient in having my car ready when needed, and to ensure our luggage was taken to and from our suite in a timely manner.
